The previous capital of Oren is named after an Empress who fornicated with her brother
-
Trying to come up with Norse-sounding surnames is hard when you take into account they didn't use surnames.
Writing is hard.

Cool troll event at Elysium folks. Somehow managed to get my troll out alive thanks to a few lucky rolls at the end. We'll see where this eventline goes from there.
-
Early guns aren't incompatible with fantasy settings, but Oren's cheap Age of Enlightenment is.
Orenian players, your roleplay is anachronistic to the lore and makes a jarring discrepancy with the rest of the server. Adding guns will only fuel your Napoleonic fantasies. -
'Overwhelming Demand'
Unless I'm mistaken, we asked for expanded crafting recipes. I don't believe anyone demanded on mass for a grind system that is functionally worse than Nexus. -

Guys, I just meant that the World and Tech team have been through the ringer and they amusingly refer to it as "very eventful"
Sham, I know you have it out for NotEvil, but for goodness sakes, "time and location."

yet to see any events ran by staff and not players 'cause story team legit has zero material to work with rn due to Vortex locking it off behind further coding.
please nick just give them their ideal temporary solution it's the best for everyone
Whats the lore?
Vortex doesnt affect lore being written, and the only lore im aware of on the new map is "We are here"

Day 3 of being banned with no given reason or explanation or reachout by moderation. The absolute state of this staff team
-
First Vortex limits roleplay when you can easily ignore it and roleplay. Now it's bandits ruin roleplay by giving free roleplay on the roads preventing you from grinding. I'd accept being bandited then running around the map just collecting nodes
-
Let's chill out with the Vortex hate-train now. I understood the initial frustration towards change, but many, MANY, feedback posts have been made - and staff is working to address and fix each issue. As a gentle reminder, we're all human at the end of the day and can only handle so much criticism. Thank you again to @nickrocky213 for your dedication to this server and plug-in. (who did a great portion of this solo, mind you)

I understand actual metal nodes being a thing, but you're gonna tell me I can't mine cobble or get wood like normal minecraft.......... I have to find a "node"........ Come on bro RP server btw

Make sure to stagger nation minas deadlines so that the Admin bank has multiple days a week where a good bit of minas enters it. If every nation and settlement has a set deadline on Sunday, then voting on Mondays and Tuesdays will likely see there be enough minas in the admin bank for votes to give minas, but any other day of the week would just give resources. Thus, staggering the deadlines is preferable.

transition map is a write off don't think it's reflective of how anything will be
lowkey the smart idea is to use this as a three day break

The guides are not long at all. It takes 20+ steps in vanilla minecraft to go from nothing to getting bread. Our process is 13 steps at most to forge tools from scratch, and after the first few times you wont be going from scratch because you wont need to make new sticks new ingots etc every time you want to make a pickaxe.
The guides are extensive for exactly this reason. Once you do it a few times you dont honestly expect me to believe you have to check the guide again for every step? And the process is almost identical at every level, only changing at the high levels which take slightly more work.
The only unintuitive part of the forging process is the bucket, and thats being looked at.
You mine ore with a pick - thats the same as vanilla. Wood with an axe - same as vanilla. You smelt your ore - same as vanilla. You make your sticks + vanilla. You put the ingots and sticks together ,- done. The only real thing thats different is that you use an interface for it.
