I figured since both are at the top of their hierarchy, both have grey Vampiric features, and that both are bastions of vitality, that they would be essentially the same. Though I will admit that they both have specifically singular, stark differences, since Vampires in the Witcher aren't Demonically aligned per-say. I suppose it would just be two similar concepts. I'm picking at straws however, minuscule really. I've wanted some proper Vampiric RP on lotc for awhile, so it's nice to see you guys hitting the nail on the head. I thought a bit about Underworld when I was reading through it now that you mention it, the creation ritual reminded me of Victor's revival. Fancy that.

Ey overall it seems to be a very well written piece of lore. If I didn't love Dettlaff and Regis so much I might have objected to the heavy Witcher influence, but that is fine. I don't particularly see why the Unseen have to be bluntly named for the Unseen Elders, but other than that easily minor issue it seems to be fine. I did have a problem with the other names as well, but immediately remembered that the names of most creatures in the Witcher come from various myths, which puts them in the public domain, so its fine to use them in my opinion. On another note, little confirmation, do they come from Aeldin? I had seen it mentioned but I believe the lore focus' much more on a narrative that it seems overshadow their geographical origins and which makes it a little vague. I was also curious as to why Vampires cannot use something like Necromancy or other dark arts? Was that because of the limited source material? Or because of the need for restrictions to appease the staff? I would also like to know a bit more about why they cannot use the dark arts from an RP sense. If I've in fact simply missed the explanation could you point it out to me? Thirdly I was curious on whether you plan to add anything further to the lore once the lore is inevitably accepted? Maybe from other sources perhaps? Minor touches spanning a few different attachments to further flesh out the more cultural side of the Vampires, rather than an explanation and establishment, which is what this seemingly is?

As it seems like anyone who wants to play in conjunction with the darker side of LOTC, I.E Necromancers etc, can already have a variety of choice. What makes a Nephilims play style different from that Deathstalker? It just seems to me, an unneeded addition to the lore. The idea of gaining some sort of strength from ichor is interesting, grant you. I just think this lore could stand to be a little more general, and, not so centralized I suppose.

Through Ancelcourt to Anpalais he served, befriending the likes of Michael Hightower, 'the Aengul,' and Vitallius de Capua, 'the Bastard of Dyffa.' He met many from all backgrounds, for the Nauzica was as close to a meritocracy as the now grizzled, blonde solider had ever come across. His early years within the Brigade were filled with full scale combat, as he served ferociously during against the Rurikid rebels that threatened the realm's stability. His experiences in Avar honed the skills he had already possessed, and he continued to provide a proper backbone to the professional band throughout his career. He also sought out competition, fighting in many a melee and jousts for glory and prestige. Oft did he do well, catapulting himself into third place within the lists with utmost certainty the majority of the time, he also proved his mastery of the sword in the melees of the realm, defeating the Hetman, Vanir, and all others in single combat on more than one occasion. Soon after even that he began to court a Savoyard noblewomen of the name, Lady Renee de Aryn. He even acquired a squire by the name of Roderick Baldwin, whom he trained profusely. With time and effort he spent many years invested in those endeavors. He took to renovating his home and all else. However his relationships strained under the buildup of stress it caused, he had outstretched himself. After a few years he had abandoned his heartfelt fancy for the Lady de Aryn, his kindness frayed and dismantled due to the pulls he felt from all sides. He was now Lieutenant within the Nauzica, which stressed him even further. The final straw was his mothers passing, and the chaos that consumed him after. The Felsenic Fire, a grand tragedy, burned to cinder his childhood home in Copper Court, along with his mother, whom he took for granted many a time. This drove into him an undercurrent of anger that would fuel ambitions yet to come, and he began to question his previous actions deeply. Wettlock is currently a changed man, the chivalry he had shown in his youth has drained from his life, and due to the loss of his mother he remains unhinged. A more volatile variation of his Savoyard blood.
