@The Elfen Lie If you want pure RP there's much better places to go than LOTC for it. People come here for both Minecraft and RP usually and Mojang/Micro$oft is slowly but surely butchering the Minecraft part (this includes PVP). If it wasn't for PVP, LOTC would probably not have lasted this long since warclaims and antagonist PVE/PVP are some of the biggest draws LOTC has.

@TarianTo be honest I like the combat system because it made mobs harder. For way too long have mobs been easy mode with a few exceptions of maybe a creeper gets you. PVE became a huge joke when enchants and potions were introduced. 

Nah, PVE became a joke when sprinting was added. Back in Beta, you couldn't just sprint past any enemy. Spiders were actually faster than you and you couldn't get out of the range of a skeleton within a second.

@poland What changed in PVP between 1.7 and 1.8? I thought PVP in those two updates was the same.
