  1. All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players. Tonight's performance - a classic farce.

  2. (( I fully expect and demand that the regulars should be members of the Soprano crime family. ))
  3. Any builders fancy posting some screenies of the elf, dwarf or orc places in 4.0? Senda's pics of the human place are getting me all hyped.

  4. Well said, Sheum. Glad to see the conflicting parties extending olive branches in an attempt to fix things. This is a step in the right direction, I hope.
  5. Anyone wanna have an lotc game of Civ 5 sometime?

I would be up for it, though I only played that game for like an hour about a year ago. Add "thefear132", and yes that account was created when I was 12 and attempting to be edgy.

  6. Do explosives of any sort exist? Is it possible to research and create an explosive?

      Neri

Alchemist's fire is the closest you'll get, but it's napalm rather than explosives.

    2. Lago

      Lago

Bottled fire, not napalm. "Alchemist's Napalm" was the satirical name for the way it was abused.

I just did the same. I loved it, every part of it. And the soundtrack is phenomenal.

  10. Transistor is phenomenal. Buy it now, heathens.

  11. Still accepting applicants! Also, can whoever is playing the Orcish horde and the other orcish faction please post.
  12. If you've been accepted for the Warcraft RP, feel free to post away. Still accepting applicants as well - blood elves most definitely welcome!

  13. GM Post: Meanwhile, on a series of forgotten isles, the ruins of the ancient capital of the Night Elves, Suramar, have become host to a battle between the spirit of vengeance itself and her monstrous prey... In the Tomb of Sargeras... Warden Maiev Shadowsong, Mistress of the Watchers shatters the final demonic gate between her and her prey and steps forward, her troops flanking her, bows and glaives raised. Illidan the Betrayer, their prize, and his Naga minions are arrayed around the chamber and its centrepiece - a glowing green stone, pulsing with demonic energy. Illidan pauses in what he is doing looks up. His blind, horned face twists into a smile of utter contempt, laughing at his former jailor. "So, Warden Shadowsong, you've made it at last. I knew you would." Maiev's eyes narrow behind her helm as she steps forward, raising her Umbra Crescent blade. "You have much to pay for Illidan - I'm taking you back to your cell." Illidan laughs some more, his hand caressing the floating artifact. "Naivete doesn't suit you. When I consumed the power of Gul'dan's skull I inherited his memories, especially those of this place... and the dark prize he coveted." Maiev eyes the artifact apprehensively. "Yes - the power of Sargeras. You would claim it as your own!" Illidan bats a hand dismissively, his unseeing gaze concentrated on the stone. "That power is beyond my reach, little warden. But this... the Eye of Sargeras, contains all the power I'll need to rid this wretched world of my enemies once and for all. Ironic, that you should be its first victim." Maiev snarls, advancing. "You're insane!" Illidan spreads his demonic wings, looking at Maiev with utter hatred - a hatred fueled by millenia of torment at her hands. "Isolation can do that to the mind. Now, after all the long centuries you kept me chained in darkness, it is only fitting that I bury you in turn!" Illidan roars, grasping the Eye in one hand, funneling his mana into it. The dark runes across its surface swirl into life. A cataclysmic tremor rocks through the tomb, cracking ancient walls and allowing the sea to pour in. The chamber itself begins to collapse, with rocks dislodging and crushing Naga and Watcher alike. Illidan gives Maiev one last glance and teleports away with his Naga witch and her entourage. Maiev looks around in fear, coming to a final conclusion - one that stilled her heart with grief. "I must reach Shan'do Stormrage and warn him of his brother's treachery. My power will allow me to escape... but I fear there is no way out for the rest of you." Naisha, second in command of the Watchers, a beloved pupil of Maiev looks to her mistress, her eyes resigned to her fate. The remaining sisters share her sentiment and kneel before Maiev. "Go, mistress! The goddess will light our path to the hereafter." Humbled by her warriors' sacrifice, Maiev casts aside her grief. "I will not forget you, my sisters. You will be avenged. I swear it!" Giving her beloved Watchers one last look, Maiev blinks out of the room as it collapses upon Naisha and the others. ~~~+~~~+~~~ Malfurion and Tyrande are in the moonglade discussing the aftermath of the Burning Legion. Much of the ground around them is still corrupted. "Nordrassil's roots seem to be healing well. I wish I could say the same for Felwood. I fear the Legion's corruption may scar the glade permanently." Tyrande nods, feeling her lover's pain. She speaks encouragingly. "Your druids will think of something. Perhaps Ysera or Alexstrasza could lend their--" A druid of the claw escorts a young Night Elf woman - barely three centuries old - in the garb of a Watcher initiate to Malfurion and Tyrande. "Your pardon, Shan'do Stormrage, Priestess Tyrande, but she insisted that she be allowed to see you." Tyrande looks the girl up and down, recognising the garb from her less than pleasant encounter with the Wardens when she had freed Illidan a year ago. "Who are you, girl? What is so urgent?" The girl kneels and offers the customary sentinel salute. "I am a servant of the Warden, Maiev Shadowsong, she who pledged to hunt down the betrayer, Illidan." Malfurion's brow furrows and he urges his steed close to the girl. "Illidan? Explain yourself!" The young watcher draws herself up to her full height again and makes an impassioned plea. "Your pardon, Shan'do, but your brother has raised a dark army from the sea and stolen a powerful demonic artifact! Even now, my mistress battles him on the broken isles! She requires immediate reinforcements! " ~~~+~~~+~~~ The Sentinels are informed of the dire situation of Maiev's forces on the Forgotten Isles - Illidan, brother of Malfurion, has stolen an immensely powerful demonic artifact and seeks to use it for some nefarious purpose. The Watchers will be overwhelmed and slain if not helped, and Illidan will escape to who knows where. In Abbendis's camp, a runner closes in. He speaks of a force of banshees and other Undead taking assaulting the monastery.
  14. Transistor, launching tomorrow -

  15. Mog --> Mogroka --> Mogrokadile

  16. Reminder to all Warcraft FRP folks, please post if you haven't yet. Those who have, check for interactions between GM controlled factions or other players. Thanks!

  17. ((Mogroka was a pokemon didn't you know? Mograka evolves into Mogrokadile.))
  18. I gave Pandan a primer on the lore since he's only ever played WoW. I gave him a bit of a lore dump and told him where to go for more. Although he doesn't have the level of familiarity with FT as I'd have liked with this game's Arthas, I'm confident that he'll do fine.
  19. He's not in Northrend? Pandan's post puts him with Sylvanas in Lordaeron about to engage Abbendis's forces.
  20. Still need a Maiev and an Illidan. For now I'll be playing both but if anyone applies for them they're welcome to them.

  21. Accepted, both of you. Looks like we'll have some nice interplayer action going on.
  22. GM Actions: Night Elf Sentinels Night Elf Sentinel scouts arrive at the coast to find many villages destroyed, its inhabitants put to the sword. The sight of a great battle can be seen in the port of Nendiss. Among the dead can be found strange humanoid serpent like beings; the males large and monstrous, the females lithe and four armed. Aside from these, Night Elf warriors bearing the marks of the Watchers can be found. A survivor is found close to death but if revived by the druid accompanying the scouts. She thanks them. "Thank the Goddess for your aid, champions. It was Maiev the Warden who slayed these beasts, but she did not stop to check for wounded amongst the ruins. These serpent brutes called themselves 'Naga' when they spoke with Maiev... Illidan, the Betrayer was here also... he led the vile beasts. Where the Watchers or the Betrayer went, I cannot say... one of the snakes found me before the battle was over..." Upon examining the port area you find that the majority of the ships docked there destroyed. The cargo manifest for the port lists three more ships there, but they are no longer present. For now the Naga attacks appear to have ceased, but the question of Illidan and Maiev's watchers persists. Night elf scouts throughout Ashenvale report increased Satyr activity - Illidan's passage east seems to have riled up the demon worshiping filth. Scouts at the treeline of Azshara spot the rising towers of an Orcish settlement. Although the northern forests were once a target for Horde logging teams, Warchief Thrall appears to be keeping to the peace that was settled between Elf, Man and Orc a year ago. ~~~+~~~+~~~ Stormwind The streams of Lordaeron refugees arriving in Stormwind from Khaz Modan appear to wane. Those that make it through tell horror stories of vicious Scourge attacks on refugee trains in the passes through Silverpine forest in old Lordaeron. Repeated requests for more and more troops come from the Alliance forces committed in the North, in the former territories of Lordaeron and Dalaran. The general assigned to lead the troops, one Lord Garithos, expresses his private disdain for the Dwarven and Elvish contingents sent there by others, requesting 'Good, dependable human men for the fight'. Blackrock attacks continue throughout the trade routes, with stories of refugees being carried off by Blackrock slavers for demonic sacrifices. ~~~+~~~+~~~ Stromgarde Streams of refugees continue to pour through the North like an endless tide, with horror stories of the continued Scourge invasion sending panic at the though of the Scourge heading south through the Kingdom. The traitor legion forces appear content to stay where they are for now... as if waiting for something. Perhaps they fear a Scourge invasion as well? Who can say. An eerie quiet descends over the kingdom - the calm before the storm?
