    Fools. Time travel already happened. High elf mages went back in time back in Asulon, but covered it up when they saw Malin frolicking in a Druid grove with dark elves and orcs.

    How do you change your name in game? I know it says something like 'you can only change your name every 3 days' or something like that when you make a persona, but how do you actually go about doing it?

    Nice idea atmospherically, as well as good for creating RP opportunities, but in execution it will almost always devolve into something poor. Sadly an idea that must remain confined to the abyss.

    I did Redcliffe third just to piss him off. I went to see the Dalish first - did anyone else notice that the guy voicing the elf keeper is the guy who played Tuvok in Star Trek Voyager? Also, one of the elves is played by Ashley from Mass Effect. Also, great story - very nice and immersive. Just a quick note for when you do the mage tower - no spoilers, but there's a section of the mage tower that goes on for a ridiculously long time and that's considered by far the worst part of the game. If you have the PC version of the game there's a mod that gives you the option to skip it, which I suggest you take. Just look for the DA:O Skip the Fade Mod.

    What year did we arrive in the Fringe? I'm sure we were in the 1300s last time I checked, although now we're in 1462.

      1352 was when Blunder and I awoke the evil in Asulon so, in Rp, around 1360-70s was when we arrived in Anthos, an and Anthos was near 80 years, so I'd bet we arrived in the Fringe in about the 1440s?

      We arrived in the Fringe in aprox. 1458.

      Aegis ended in 1352. We left Asulon in 1402. We spent aprox. 10 years in Elysium and Kalos, entering Anthos in 1410, aprox.

    Had a bit of a headache filling mine out. Kaelin's a half dark/high elf who is unaware of having a high elf for a father who was raised by wood elves and looks so much like a dark elf that the question of purity has never really cropped up for him. So: Subrace - Other Place of Residence - Other Culture - Unaligned Wood Elf It's accurate, but it still doesn't look right to me...

      That would be exeedingly hard since english doesn't directly translate into lotc elvish. The structures are so different. It could take years to code.

    So I started season 2 of Heroes... what the hell happened? Did the writers have a stroke/strike?

      Wait till you get further along... If they had a stroke, it was minor. If I recall correctly, by the end of season four (last season) the writers stated they themselves had no idea where to go and were okay with it being cancelled.

    You know, if anyone ever wanted to something DnD-esque, like FATE or Pathfinder or actual DnD anything like that, I'd be happy to join in. I did something similar with some friends over Skype, it was fun.

    I DM'd a game of DnD once. It barely got off the ground - I was a first time DM, none of us had played before and we were all getting steadily drunk - but one of the more memorable moments was when the party had to get past a checkpoint manned by paladins. They decided to steal the paladins' horses and ride through the checkpoint, but to do that they had to get past the guard. They proceeded to split the man apart with critical after critical. Upon examining the man's body they found that he was a 14 year old boy - his only possessions being a teddy, a love letter to his sweet heart and a list of his hopes and dreams. After lighting his corpse on fire to see what they were doing, they fled on horseback.

    If my character's opinion on the offer to the druids offended some, I would be more than happy to change the offensive word to the more common 'plough' if the post is restored.
