  15. Letters are sent to the lords of the realm of Oren. To the Revered Baron William Harcourt My friend, I recall just months ago when you came to me swearing your fealty to myself as Duke of Karovia. Your loyalty since then has been unwavering, and a pillar of my confidence as a sovereign over humanity. With the passing three sovereigns in such a short time, however, I find myself perched precariously on this throne, and require that the oaths of fealty to Orenia be reaffirmed. And so, I ask that you offer in return to my letter your oath of fealty to I, King Alexander Tuvyovic Carrion, King of Oren. To the Right Honorable Count Symon Stafyr For decades has your house honorably and justly served mine, and never was I more relieved to see the men of Stafyr aiding the late Empire against the Storm Lord. The stoic strength of Stafyr has been a pillar on which the Carrion dynasty survives, and I hope to see our relationship continue to prosper. The loyalty of you and your men has not gone unnoticed, and for the many years to come I hope to see you at many-a-banquet. And so, I ask that you offer in return to my letter your oath of fealty to I, King Alexander Tuvyovic Carrion, King of Oren. To His Grace Olivier de Savoie The fortitude of the line of Ashford has endured over a century of hardships, both in war and peace. Since the time of Velwyn Ashford, named then Lucien, did the strength of that line thicken into what it has become today; the names de Bar and de Savoie the two most prominent names in the Heartland. It is you and your kin who rule the Heartland, make no mistake. And so, I ask that you offer in return to my letter your oath of fealty to I, King Alexander Tuvyovic Carrion, King of Oren. To the Revered Baron Marvin Valentine, The relative youth of your House's nobility is a testament to the rising strength of the Kingdom of Oren. I was pleased to hear that reason had fell upon the ears of you and your levymen, and righteousness and truth prevailed in the mind of righteous and true men such as yourselves, in place of the treachery practiced by some of your less honorable peers. And so, I ask that you offer in return to my letter your oath of fealty to I, King Alexander Tuvyovic Carrion, King of Oren. ((You can do it either on the forums, or IG))
  16. With the recent farce of terms presented by the Renato-Waldenian alliance, the Kingdom of Oren has seen fit to offer in return a reasonable assortment of counter-terms. For it is not the directive of the Kingdom of Oren, it's King, or it's councilors to continue this needless war by presenting absolutely unreasonable terms, but instead to provide a fair and lasting peace among humanity where unity can not be achieved. When this war first began, the Renatians and Waldenians wanted nothing more than independence, which the good King Alexander granted them with his ascension. But here they exemplify warmongering and clearly seek to destroy and defame the House of Carrion and their Raevir brothers for no reason other than to fulfill a hateful agenda of demonization. No doubt King Maric Varodyr will attempt to use his ridiculous terms in an attempt to garner private discussion with King Alexander, but it has been seen fit to King Alexander that their terms deserve no royal discussion on the matter, and instead are wholly condemned. True and fair terms are listed below. - As King Alexander bears no ill will towards either nation, he offers a promise that so long as they do not disturb the peacefulness set forth by certain treaties meant to maintain worldly peace for the sake of focusing military might on the terrible Archdaemon. - As King Alexander has wholly succumbed to the desires of the Renato-Waldenian alliance for their individual independence, despite the evident treacherous sentiments shared by both sides, and the violation of their oaths of unity and of fealty. He seeks to forgive these transgressions for the sake of peace where unity can not be attained, and shall not violate this sentiment so long as neither Aesterwald nor Renatus do the same. - If the Renato-Waldenian alliance seeks to invade the Kingdom of Oren and press on with the bloodshed past gaining independence, for the sake of expansionist ideals founded on greed and lust for power, then both nations shall be met on the field of battle with fervent opposition and in defense of the Orenian homeland.

  18. Hey! I think I remeber you from Kaphro. I'd reccomend pretty much anything, most of the races have a nice playerbase. I'd personally reccomend going to Petrus, but i guess I could be a bit bias :P
  19. I love it, with two clicks I can add players. I can check stats, I can make different permissions. Honestly, it's an amazing plugin, even the activity isn't very bad. I don't feel like doing /rg addmember (whatever my region is called) (name). everytime I want to add someone. If it's such a huge problem, make it where you don't need activity.
  20. The new Emperor, surrounded by a throng of guard, had found his crown heavy as his father. He did not belong in this city, and he knew it. His father had spoiled him with the grand Karovian estate, a fief wide and fertile, the rivers pristine and the peoples happy, and yet it was his duty to bear this barbed crown, a thorny thing which pricked at his head this way and that. And so he stepped forward to the crowd gathered, in confusion at the succession, and spoke his piece; “To the denizens of Petrusia, the city of world’s desire and home to countless, I bid you grave news, Our beloved Emperor Tobias, and the Imperial Prince Boris, have succumbed to their ailments; the poison taking their toll. I grieve deeply for these great men, for my father, who saved this city from gross inactivity and brought forth merchants, artisans, and soldiery and my brother, who had just returned to the lands of Oren to only be met with a swift death from poisoned waters. Yet the state must go on. We shall arrange a funeral to be held in their name and mourn their loss. They have left us at no worse time, these wizened men, who mayhaps have had the talent to resolve this crisis. Da, the country is a-strife, and da, my predecessors have led us to a failed invasion of Renatus, one which I now sorely regret. For those people and my wife’s kindred, the Rovins, demand their sovereignty and I am not one to impose force upon them. So I am to return this Imperial Crown to the High Pontiff, and dismantle our Imperial institution. Maybe in years ahead, humanity shall be united as one, but for now, it is a fool-hardy attempt to impose our will on another, and for another to impose their will on us. Let us grow on our accord and come together under the right circumstance. I shall not hide in my countryside estate any longer; the Karovian men shall accompany me to Petrusia, where we shall focus all our resources into making the city one which never sleeps, acting on every hour. I shall ask for a new crown, a royal crown befitting our new goals and beliefs as the Kingdom of Oren, a country for all peoples who do not wish to reside in the more nationalist Aesterwaldia and Renatus. All vassals are to re-affirm their oaths to me, but I shall not punish those who wish sovereignty or to be subject to another realm. I shall enforce no tyranny, niet; if you fear my rule or my peoples, you may go as you will, but I urge you to stay and give me a chance. I have worked with my father diligently and will do everything in my power to keep our Orenian state sovereign and free. Let the Kingdom of Oren flourish, free from Imperial duty and bondage, and let us pray for a new age of prosperity.”
  21. Aleksandr nods his head after Daniel speaks. "You prove a good point, I believe Paul could do a better job. I resign."
  22. the screams of young infants, falling silent in the night For shadows knew what sorrows the babes would endure Two men, hired blades, and a younger man whom had lived with them for years under their tutelage, sat 'round a campfire. "Best job ye ever did?" Inquired the teenage boy, brushing his coal black hair from his face, his blue eyes glinting in wonder, though they had been polluted with cynicism by the men whom had raised him for so long. The senior of the two blades let a grin spread spread across his face, offering a glance to the other, whose eyes were fixated on the dancing flame and nothing more; though he gave a nod in response to the glance. The older man spoke; "Perhaps not the best, but certainly my favorite... Listen closely, now, lad." "Petyr and Kovac Carrion, the first sons of Aleksandr Carrion; twins, Petyr being the eldest by mere minutes. In the dead of night, years ago, their cries of helplessness as they were thrust into this world plagued with the cruelty of mankind and the terrible judgement of the Creator served as a beacon of hope if nothing else." "The babes grew as quickly as the small creatures could without a mother, whom had been stolen by her own self hate, and self destruction. Their first years were lonely ones; wetnurses caring for them daily as the problems of the Empire and the world were dealt with by their young father and his comrades. " "Till a night when the shadows whispered. Thousands... Tuvya will pay thousands..." The babes offered to the night their usual wretched screams The wetnurse rushed from her bedroom and into the nursery, standing in shock at the sight before her; a man clad in a black cloak and with a terrifying mask crafted of a painted black skull stood there, clutching the eldest of the two sons, Petyr; screaming in fear and confusion at the figure who had stolen him from his crib and interrupted his peaceful rest." "The nurse opened her mouth to scream, but only a gasp escaped. A second figure, clad all in black with a mask of precisely the same make had stepped out from behind the thrown open door, and thrust his dagger through her throat. She tried to scream again, but again only a gasp escaped as she began to choke and gag on her own blood." "The figure twisted the blade in her throat and gripped her by her hair, tearing out the weapon. He slowly began to kneel and rest her quietly on the ground, her blood pooling around her final resting place. The figure clutchingthe babe simply nodded to the other, approaching the windowsill and gripping it with his free hand, leaping over it with babe in hand, his screams growing louder." "The guardsmen, whom had expected the wetnurse to handle the children's screaming beforehand, now heard that the screaming came from outside of the keep and grew suspicious. Three of them resolved to investigate the nursery, and the clanking of their mail boots gave warning to the second, red-handed figure that time was short. " "He glanced once towards the babe still in the crib; Kovac Carrion. This one would stay, for now. And like the wind, the shadows had dissappeared, and taken a baby crow with them." The senior blade let out a soft sigh as he finished the story, licking his lips with satisfaction. He let a thin smile spread across his face and glanced towards the young man. "But then, this was years ago... And the rich Tuvya is long gone."
  23. Aleksandr walking in, he nods to everyone. He lets out a long drawn out yawn as he slips into his seat. "I intend to run."
