  1. you're speaking about your lore as if its a logical fact but it isn't, why it have to be like this? think about other interpretations, or wait until you finish high school people's logic generally tends to expand bro what
  2. the simple traditional lotc lore is intentionally vague it allows players to play on it and naturally creates a multitude of interpretations that allow everyone's voices to poke in you writing lore for the entire server to follow is frankly unmerited and, seeing as it is so restrictive, should not be imposed on the dozens of other people trying to role play on the server i don't think you understand that lore is intentionally kept vague for that very reason on a collaborative RP server. the current lotc creation myth is a server classic and reflects its RP history. contribute lore, dont reshape it
  3. This sounds like WoW lore LotC needs more original ****. Almost all of our lore has been stolen from other videogames. It's tacky.
  4. sometimes i feel **** for being a muslim i just want to fit in to the balkans and be a white christian slav

  5. An Irongut Courier in the Field, c. 1636 Couriers dressed in grey cloaks with blue ribbons tied around their forearms would ride their mountain ponies through various cities and towns, going to the verified addresses of every recognized Irongut, whether they be blooded or unblooded. The parchments handed off would be thick and made of goat vellum, rolled into scrolls sealed with blue wax. The bulging sigil on the stamps, that of a mug of ale and a sword, suggests that the letters are especially important, pertinent to clan-wide activities. "To the descendants of Dwain: the sons of Draco and Heron, and Hiebe and Kilgrim and Alfy and Skippy and Sharr and Grungron, and Hogarth and Kardel and their cousinry: Hail and may you be prosperous! By the will of Anbella and for the memory of our ancestors, the members of clan Irongut are here asked to convene in two stone days, as per the wishes of certain Elders in their midst, to discuss and talk about the state of affairs and to address the matter of things, so that our clan may continue to be united and strong, and so that our name rings in eternity in honor of our ancestors. The aforementioned moot shall take place in the fifth hour after the noon of the last working day of the stone's week, at the sea-rock of Khaz'Drakkon in that fortress's antechamber. Ale and mead and foodstuffs both sweet and savory shall be made available, and honor shall be linked as per our ancestral customs, and we shall speak in the Irongut tongue as per our ancestral customs, and we shall worship the Brathmordakin as per our ancestral customs, so as to provide unity and strength of both kin and seed. Let it be known that any son of Dwain who refuses to attend without the best of reasons shall be considered ashamed, and that his ale shall be from thereon handed to him from under the thigh in mockery, and that his reputation shall be scorned. And let it be further known that any not of the clan shall not be allowed into the rock of Drakkon" "-Duly, Kardel Irongut, son of Heron who was son of Dwain, who was firstborn of Urguan the all-father; pious servant of the Pantheon of Six, whose seasons count 85 and whose beard is long and from which hang many honors and ornaments of precious metals testifying to his eldership." ((OOC: Meeting at 5:00 PM EST on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Khaz'Drakkon.))

  11. This administration was the best it has been in a while, and I really feel that you were the reason for it being so good. Kudos and thanks friendo, good luck with life. Keep looking forward.
  12. I mean, to be quite honest, the guy is a mature, well educated fellow who doesn't plagiarize lore from Dark Souls and instead takes the time to read various obscure mythologies and anthologies in order to formulate original lore. LotC has always echoed other games: Setherien was Deathwing, Iblees was Diablo, and recently lore has adhered heavily to the Dark Souls universe. Based on my three years of work with this man, I can confidently say that he has the potential to add much needed originality to LotC's lore: in my eyes, he has constantly proven himself to be a person radiating ingenuity and diligence. It would be a shame not to accept him to the LT.
  13. omg when can I play one? can this be a thing?

  16. The Prophet Kardel Irongut nods his head, seeing wisdom far beyond the High Prophet's age apparent in this most recent mandate. "The High Prophet's duty is a difficult one. Not only is he the representative of the Brathmordakin on Khor'Khruum, and the relay between divine and mortal, but he is also the guardian of mortality from the wrath of that sextarchy which we often praise so highly. The High Prophet must constantly safeguard Yemekar's creation from its own cardinal sins, eradicating heresies and repenting for the good of the earthly collective. Due to some veil of Khorvad, the High Prophet's will was, by fault other than his (a fault intrinsic in mortality, of which the High Prophet is but a relater), misled into implying that the beasts Wyrvun and Dormmar are of divine nature. However, the High Prophet's current actions (which, by their association to the Brathmordakin [for the High Prophet is, once more, the vicar of said Brathmordakin] are holy and ultimately just and right) have set mortality back on that Path intended by Yemekar, in accordance with his evangelical duties. The High Prophet, as always, is never to blame, for he is the mere representative of mortality. Yet, the representative is one who represents. That which is represented by our Holy Prophet is Mortality's misconception of the divine. Mortality has become heretical and blasphemous, believing that mere creatures which seem great to our eyes, but are like the grain of sand is to the mountain when compared to the Brathmordakin, are godly. Our wise Holy Prophet, in his infinite wisdom as so bestowed to him by Ograhad, has not only fixed this error but also reinstated the right of members of the clergy to hold impromptu sermons as to give salvation to mortality for these cardinal sins of misconception and pantheism by correcting their Heretical Confusions with evangelical fact. It is these events, these 'mistakes' of the Kirkja Dverga as the wavering-faithful and less-than-pious would put it, that simply prove that the Clergy is supreme in its authority and wisdom and is never wrong. This was not a mistake by our High Prophet: on the contrary, it was a supreme erudition. The High Prophet's previous mandate implied tangibly how heretical society is: it was but a symbol, not a literal mandate, for as the High Prophet knows well, the High Prophet cannot appoint Brathmordakin. Indeed, it may even be viewed with a tinge of irony and humor! The High Prophet's prior mandate was not a heresy, but a satire of heretics. This clarification, on the other hand, is a direct condemnation of said heretics that would hold a mere wyrm and demon to the same pantheon of Yemekar as the Guardian of the Dead and the Lord of Lore. Praise be to our High Prophet and praise be to the Brathmordakin. This debacle has shed light on a mortal problem, the sin of the Heretical Confusion, that the clergy shall labor diligently to repent for on behalf of all mortality. Praise be to our High Prophet for so skillfully introducing this topic to our debate. Yemekar spare us his wrath and Anbella bless us all, Kardel Irongut, Prophet of Ograhad and Ograhad's Alchemist, Former Grand King of Urguan and Architect of Kal'Ishtul, Bearer of the Blade of Dwain, etcetera"
