Any combat roleplay system is trust based anyway, because the defender can always call pvp on you. You can choose to use D&D rolls or not, most people don't roll for basic actions anyway. I think a D&D system would be better compared to what we have going on currently because it would codify things like "orc strength" in terms of numbers that can actually be written and played with. Would make the ST's job easier trying to "balance" creatures.

P.S. you hate rolls because they don't let you have complete control over your character, not because you prefer "skill" based combat roleplay.

tbf DnD system would be better than the current roll rules, would just have to be absolutely basic and probably aligned with "racial" **** if anything.

But rolls are a weird direction to take when our main ideals rely on trying to build a community that needs trust to function.
