Nope. This is a fantasy mid evil RP server, therefore locks may be designed completely different then in real life. This server is mostly about creativity. Also your comparison to magic doesn't make sense, because magic is completely fake, unlike lock picking. It isn't a 'bull **** way' it is a creative way, and most people seem to enjoy it. You fail to understand that this server isn't lock picking simulator 2013. Locks were probably designed much differently back in mid evil times anyway. Also, I have seen many master swordsman RP combat differently, why would you want no variety? Agreed, and thanks.

I have no idea how to pick a lock in real life(as you can probably tell by this guid :p), so that is why I made up this creative way. This is a fantasy server, so I don't think you should half to have a lot of ooc knowledge on the subject in order to RP something. I also think it is good to have variety rp, so if you RP it that way, and I RP it this way, then I think that is even better. Thanks for the feedback! I would hate that either way. No more one emote bull ****.
