THE HOSPITALLER ORDER "Ave Crux Alba!" *A flier flutters in the wind. The breeze blows it around the cloud temple. It rides the currents of the air until it finds a column which it slaps itself onto. On it is a White cross, emblazoned on a half black half red background.The words Knights Hospitaller are written across the top.* "People of Asulon! the Knights Hospitaller needs your help to rejuvenate the lands, and make the beauty return to the baren hills of Asulon! To save those who are in need, to give shelter to those without a home, to feed the hungry, and bring justice to the lawless! Join today, by either traveling to Simonia in the region of Oren, or by bird, sent to Abaddon. Ave Crux Alba! Hail Thou White Cross!" [[ end IC ]] [[OOC]] I am creating a guild based on the Hospitaller Knights of Malta. The order is centered around the principle of Brotherhood, and fellowship man. We focus on providing the citizens of Asulon with aid in any means. We are not a war mongering Guild, but we are fighters for the purpose of defending the weak and those in need. We have a guild home in Simonia - the Geminine barony - and am capable of housing many people. We are looking for Lumberjacks, farmers, Herbalists, cooks, and miners, to help with the expansion of the guild. if you are looking for a home, and have any of these skills, the Hospitallers are looking to help you. If you need a home and have skills aligned with sneak, swords, axe, or archery, then we want you to join our ranks. In either case you would be considered a member of the hospitaller Brotherhood, in either the Worker branch, or the Defense branch, respectively. The Worker The Worker basically becomes a member of the town of Simonia, but as part of the Hospitallers, is under the direct protection of the Order. As a member you are given a enough money to purchase a home in the Geminine Barony of Simonia, and enough supplies to live happily. To pay this off, you must use your skills to help the Order, by either harvesting crops, mining in the Hospitaller mine*, chopping trees in the Hospitaller tree grove*, creating potions and bandages or cooking food for the men. Of course each tradesperson will be given the supplies to follow their trade. *the hospitaller mine and hospitaller grove are designated parts of the guild, and not to be confused with the Simonia farms or trees. designated areas are marked for members of the Order. The Defensive These men are given a free room in the barracks of the guild home. Those who are a part of this branch are tasked with carrying out any task given to them by their Commanders: The Grand Crosses. They can buy home with their own money if they want. These men are allowed access to the massive armory setup for the defense of the people. All recruits will given a certain uniform to wear. They will be considered as recruits until either they reach a high enough weapon skill to be considered full fledged warriors, which would consist of a level 50 in any weapon skill. If this level is already achieved or once achieve it, they will become the sword and shield of the order, the Knights Justice. Anything over level 75 is promoted to the Elite Guard, known as the Bailiffs. Each rank has their own uniform to wear. If you wish to wear something else, then you may speak to me, Abaddon, and we can talk. When and if we are needed to go to war, special War armor will be given. Abaddon and the designated trainers will teach recruits and those who seek it aid in RP fighting; ie, how to do it correctly, and how to respond to certain things. Full length courses are available. Practice fights will be frequent, both pvp training, and RP fights, utilizing rolls of 20. More indepth details into how training is done will be shared once you join. Rules: -Commander's word is law. -Traitors will be dealt with justly, given an unbiased trial by a jury of Commanders. Abaddon makes the final sentencing. -Racism and hate towards others will not be tolerated. -Always help your brothers -All fighting amongst the fighters is to be done in the sparring pit. -No griefing of crops, or people. -No excessive trolling. -No stealing from the others. -No harassing the citizens of Asulon. -No Abusing your rank power; however pulling the rank card is allowed. -No unauthorized hazing of recruits -Archery practice is allowed in the range. -If you cannot make a payment as a Serf, speak to Abaddon.
