IC Information
RP Name (This
includes your character’s prefix):
S’Jinahe (pronounced
Jen-ah-E)
Character
Sub-race:
Kha’Cheetrah
Character
appearance (Including age and gender):
Jinahe is 18 years
old. She is a female Kha’Cheetrah. She has sleek and light spotted fur, like a
cheetah’s. Her eyes are a deep gold, and give a haunting look when she’s angry,
and a kind, happy look when she’s happy. Her claws are like ivory, and are
sharp enough to draw blood if she scratches you. She is graceful and elegant,
almost like she’s walking on clouds. She’s somewhat attractive, and has one
golden earring on her left ear. She wears Kharajyr female clothing. She is
about 5’9.
What is the
personality of your character like?:
Jinahe has a kind
personality, though can be cold and cruel. She is overly kind towards Kharajyr,
but is hateful and cruel towards apes. She is devote to Metzli and will harm
anyone who would dare disrespect her. She doesn’t abide racism and when
someone, like a dwarf is being racist to her, she’d respond with severe force.
She’s overly prideful, and will not allow anyone to mark her honor. She’d
always liked to run on her free time, having found it exhilarating, and fun.
Brief Biography of
this character’s life thus far (taking into account the rules against creating
a character born outside of the empire):
Jinahe was born in
Asulon with her sister Sa'Saikaunaah. Her parents were farmers, and she’d
learned how to farm from them. She learned that if you wished to farm in an
area, and get a good crop, you’d need to treat the land well. Her mother and
father were highly religious, like most Kharajyr, thus making her, and her
sister religious as well. Her and Saikaunaah have a good, sisterly
relationship, and don’t fight often. But they are polar opposites in
personality and what they like. For instance, Saikaunaah likes to fish and
swim, while Jinahe hates water, and doesn’t like to fish. Jinahe is a good
cook, but Saikaunaah somehow manages to either make the food burn, or make it
taste horrible. They’ve rammed heads once or twice, but usually about things
that neither one agreed with. Such as when Saikaunaah took Jinahe’s kill from a
hunting trip and presented it to her parents, saying she killed it. Jinahe and
Saikaunaah got into a heated argument and started a brawl, which was broken up
by their parents. They both apologized to one another afterwards, mostly
because their parents made them. Jinahe and Saikaunaah are both devote
followers of Metzli. This is partially because of their parents, and another
reason would be when they were younger.
When they were
kittens, they were playing outside, near dusk. They were several miles away
from the house, in the fields. That’s when a couple spiders and one skeleton
appeared behind them. The monsters attacked these young kittens, and nearly
killed them. But as they were about to die, a ocelot jumped out of the bushes
nearby and saved them, killing a spider and wounding the other. The skeleton
ran away, the Ocelot nudged the two young kittens up from the ground.
Saikaunaah and Jinahe were both beaten and bruised. They marveled at this
ocelot as it helped them up. When they got up, they bowed to it, both muttering
a prayer of thanks to Metzli for saving them. As this happened the Ocelot went
back into the bushes, leaving them to go back home. They both hold this event
close to their hearts, thinking Metzli saved them that day. When she hit 15,
she’d gone through the trial of adulthood and passed. Now she’s in Kalos, on
the Kharajyr Island, working on the farms.
Character’s
ambitions within the Kharajyr:
She wishes to be a
priestess when she’s older, to repay Metzlti in some way for her existance and still being alive, but for now she’s fine with being a farmer. She
also wishes to be a trader, or a messenger.
Character’s
strengths/weaknesses:
Jinahe is a graceful and
elegant individual. She is quick and light on her feet, but is also physically
weak and doesn’t know how to wield any weapons except the odd dagger or knife. She
is also headstrong and will not allow anyone to insult or harm a Kharajyr, thus
getting her into trouble. She’s also a coward sometimes, but only when there’s
a less likely odd that she’s going to win.
She can be somewhat coward-ish. She doesn’t like and cannot fight that well, so
she usually runs from them instead of going into them.

Situational Roleplay Questions
1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the
surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you...
How does your character react?
Jinahe looks at the
humans and at her dagger, and her kill. It’s a measly rabbit. She decides not
to risk her skin for such a small kill and tosses it towards them before
running towards the Jungle City.
2. You arrive at the temple of
Metztli
only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr.
How does your character react?
Jinahe growls at her
ex-friend as he grabs the blue gems from the altar. He looks at her, panicked
for a second. When he sees its Jinahe, he seems to relax. “Erm… Eet es’un wat
eet lu’eks like…” He insists. Jinahe growls at him, her claws now out. She
jumps at him, causing a brawl. He drops the gems as he is attacked by Jinahe;
they land onto the ground safely. As she fights him, she slashes as his eye
with a claw, breaking it. He yowls in pain as guards come. As he writhes on the
ground, she tells them what had happened. They soon take him away to be
sacrificed.
3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf
begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to
yell after he makes eye contact with you.
How does your character react?
Jinahe glares at this
dwarf. She walks towards him. He shuts up as she does so, finding her
intimidating. She slashes at his face, cutting it. The dwarf screams, blood
spilling out of the wound. She laughs tormenting him as he does this. “Say
so’reh to Jinahe nao sm’awl aype…” she orders, growling still. “Oi’me surreh
Kitteh!” he says, now crying. Jinahe walks away, having taught the Dwarf a
lesson.
4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the
screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of
your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten
themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have
time to save one before the building collapsed.
How does your character react?
Jinahe runs towards
the burning building, putting covering her mouth with her arm. She looks at her
friend, a person who had been with her for most of her life, then at the cub,
she begins to cry and runs towards them. “Jinahe surreh.” She whispers to her
friend as she picks up the cub and runs away, her friend dying in those flames.
She sets down the white cub and blinks away tears, having betrayed her friend,
though she also saved a cub that most likely will rule the Kharajyr and become
a great leader.
