    I'm still saying, if an empire gets too big, it should either shrink, or split into two parts, and then the weaker part gets destroyed and the stronger part survives.

      Logic, that being history, shows that Empires only survive if they aren't too large, or small, a medium size if you will, and, there is no possible way in either heaven, or hell that one empire could control thousands and thousands of miles by themselves. They'd need help, and, an empire is like an organism. Once it eats all the smaller fishes in the lake, the only thing left to eat is itself.

      Most players don't RP accurately in such a manner that would create the problems that you would have in a real empire because everyone OOC'ly wants to keep their titles.

      The Romans had a gigantic Empire. Literally all of Europe and Northern Africa. They lasted for over 500 years. Yes they eventually fell but they ruled their empire well for many years. And this really could just be handled in rp. Something like this would definitely be RP.
