Aret carefully opens and reads the letter, before nodding. He drafts a carefully worded reply back.
"I understand your situation and the risk towards your nation. The threat grows ever greater as many attempt to ignore the obvious. Among the many, I have hope that the Dwarves can counter all three threats. If there is any assistance you need, simply request so and I will attempt to get what you need.
While we are unable to defend your lands from Oren in the hopes of remaining neutral in this war, and as we currently have allies speaking of a land attack upon the Hive, we can only offer any assistance we can against the Ondnarch. Our hopes is that you can wound the Hive before allies begin a hopefully final assault. The sooner you engage, the better chance we have of winning."
Aret sighs, having recieved word from his men that such would happen. He smiles a bit, before writing a reply back.
"I understand your dislike of the Adunians, however, as a keeper of balance, I will not even ask for them to convert, as it would be against our edicts the Vision has decreed.
You speak as if the Scourge are nothing but a mere whim upon this land. If they are so, and they are so easy to defeat as you say, then why not push further North into their lands, so that you many conquer it in the name of the True Faith? More power would be granted to you, and less destruction may be upon the realm.
You also speak very highly of the Teutonic Order; therefore, as I have had dealings with them in the past, I believe that if you two united to push North, you would be able to conquer vast amounts of territory in a short period of time. I trust both yourself and the Hochmeister to work together to force your way North.
Therefore, I rescind my previous request with the Adunian rangers; I now urge you to take up arms with the Teutonic Order and their Sariants and push North. If anything, it will draw Scourge forces away from the Hive in an attempted defence of the North. Once we eradicate the Northerners, you will have ample amounts of land to work with. A plan has begun to form in my mind, and for you I need you to push North. My apologies if I have offended you, but I only wish to see this matter resolved in your group and the Teutonic Order engaging the Northerners and winning the fight."
