  1. There is a difference between being Emotionally Invested in your character, and being Emotionally Obsessive. One gives you the highs and lows of your chars, the other pisses you off cause you cant have your way. Which are you?

      I feel defining myself to either would be inaccurate. If we're talking about emotions that drive myself to be a decent role player, I would say enjoyment is the only emotion to do so. If I'm not enjoying my role play, I'm probably just gonna log off and find something more enjoyable.

      Generally if you don't invest emotion into your character, they're boring af -- for not only you, but the people around you.

      What I've found makes other people enjoy their roleplay is to make your character realistically responsive. It is a technical parallel to your Emotionally Invested, but I role play because it takes my mind off of real life, not because of emotional drive.
