  1. People love to push boundaries. It's that simple. Think of the Prohibition in America. Remove said boundaries and they'll create their own. I'm fully in support of this.
  2. Monopoly kills families.

  3. Captain Kristian von Craw notices the board, and, letting out a cry of joy, he dances his way down the street. His soul is lifted, a dark weight gone. He... could get... money... "FINALLYYYY!" He dances through the crowds. Many people believe him to be deranged as he merrily makes his way through Malinor!

  6. Kristian puts a small note beneath the poster. The White Onion Trading Company can supply you with wheat (and possibly eggs) for the long term. Send us a bird for more specific terms! -Kristian von Craw
  7. Kristian reads the official report at his office, his eyes scanning the page quickly. He knew this information, but he was glad it was down on paper. "That's what ya get..." he says, chuckling as he places it down. "That's what ya get..." His voice drops off as he says this, putting his head in his hands. He lets a small tear run down his face.
  8. ((Hey, why not! I'll adopt 'em. Live around Malinor, too! Mind sending me a PM if you're interested?)) Warden Kristian von Craw's family also has a strange mark that graces their skin. Seeing their marks, he would race to adopt them. Maybe there is a connection of sorts...
  9. The snow fell steadily as the Warden approached. He was large, a human, quite a rare sight in the lands of Malinor. His face had a sickly pink mark across it, and his hair was a deep brown, slicked back. However, his armor identified him as one of the Lumi'drim, the protectors of Malin's forests. He left heavy footsteps behind him in the newly fallen snow as he approached the gates. The air of silence around him seemed to part the crowds as he entered. Civilians and Lumi'drim alike stood aside as he walked up to the news post. Once there, he began hammering on signs, the words etched in in heavy letters. His eyes, like stone, observed the message they gave. With a slight nod he continued on, placing more signs up across the city. Throughout this whole ordeal, he does not say a word, and each time he strikes a nail down with a hammer, it looks as if a personal blow has been done to him. The signs read: By the order of Warden Kristian von Craw: -The human Sentinel known by the names of 'Tex', 'Lommpy', 'Burzumkil', and 'Edward', is now banished from the land of Malinor for murdering an unborn child. -The elf known as Joe Orman is now banished from Malinor for murder. -Both individuals are to be found and brought to the Lumi'drim, dead or alive. -To all Lumi'drim: They are to be arrested on sight. *A rough sketch of the first individual is here* Malinor Prevails The Warden trudges away, leaving the signs behind for all to see.
  10. The Warden Kristian von Craw walks by, and, spotting the letters, his eyes widen. "Crud... the poor thin'... I can't... I must..." His eye twitches. "There is only one way to assure the child is safe... and I will find the parents..." He leaves a note in response. To whomever it may concern, The life of a child is not one to bargain with. This is... and evil action. It is only right to make sure that this child will remain safe, until the parents are found. The Warden Kristian von Craw is will pay 1850 1900 Minas to save this child's life. Surely that is enough. *A signature and the seal of the Lumi'drim are here.* Kristian feels at his pocket. He could not match the offer of Shaela, but he leaves the note. There was no other way. "Nearly all my wealth for a child... yes... a child's life is worth that... especially in these troubled times. Evil times... with evil people." He turns, shouting orders to the nearest Sentinels.
  11. "'Ow 'bout a 'uman?" Kristian shakes his head, chuckling underneath his breath. "'E 'asn't even been 'Igh Prince for an Elven day. Giv'im a break."
  12. "The White Onion Tradin' company is always lookin' for new members, lad! 'Ead off to 'Erendul, ya can't miss us!"
  13. Um… hi. As the guard who asked that Harbinger to remove his armor, let me explain. My character, Kristian, had never… ever… seen a Harbinger. His actions were those of a loyal guard in Malinor. Ask that creepy knight in the corner to please remove his armor, as that is not allowed in the city! Now, OOCly, I wanted to create RP by doing this, as I kind of knew that if you walk around in an armor skin, you're generally something like a Harbinger, or a Dread Knight… you know, something that doesn't have a soul (or whatever is going on with those guys~)! Something to be feared! And I decided to keep asking because Kristian, like the silly dolt he is, would probably continue and get himself into trouble. You are attempting to bring OOC reasoning into something that doesn't require it. If your character had a problem with that, then bring it up to a Prince or someone of higher rank. Don't try to place the blame on Malinor (dang, autocorrect, y u do dis) for something entirely RP related. Because, on the whole, that was a very enjoyable event. My suggestion is to RP all these troubles away. We have too many edgies? Ban the ones who cause trouble. We acting too much like the humans? Governmental reform time! Did Malinor get into a war they shouldn't have? Oren, go at it! Crush 'em, alright? Show 'em not to make war. The whiners OOC can be talked to via the amazing Private Messaging system we have here. There is absolutely no need whatsoever to make threads like this! Alrighty. That is my two cents.
  14. Excellent event over in Malinor!

  15. Hm... alright. As a human/elven player (I've got a main who is of Oren and a nearly-main who is of Haelun'or.), I personally find this conflict stupid. It appears that only me and a few others seem to view this optimistically, or with any sort of positive attitude. I'm all for improving Malinor's military. That's one of the things you need to do to survive as a nation. And it is blatantly obvious the PvP as a whole needs to improve. The thing is, Malinor developed as an RP-fight area. And that causes problems, because when it comes time to fight, most people are keyboard warriors! Now, a government with one leader would be cool, but that is my view, as I was a human first. But in all honesty, let's stop ganging up on Malinor and just take a chill pill. It's more fun when we just RP, and don't create threads like this.
  16. "I need all Lumi'drim 'ere, now!" The shout resonates throughout the area of the docks, Kristian's voice seeming worried. He takes out the morningstar, hefting it as he looks to the guard. "Last chance, mate. Step back, away from the Kha." Kristian squints his eyes, the pink mark on his face bending with his facial expression. His boots make soft clunks in the newly fallen snow as the soldier nears him. "Attack me, and ya're in a whole ton o' trouble..." He watches as the Kha leaves the area. "That's an end to that. Now go."
  17. Kristian hears this, stepping up from the dead body of the Kha's father. "Sir... step away. Now." His hand goes to his morningstar, the spiked iron mace looking menacing from its position on Kristian's armor. "It 'as been determined that the Kha shall take of its own. Understand?"
  18. "I 'ope so." Kristian gives a small nod, kneeling back down to the dead body of the Kha's father. He begins inspecting the body, hoping to determine the cause of death and such. The Kha cub was no longer on his mind, and the whole of his attention to the bigger job at hand. "Now... who would just... kill... slavers? No. Cultists... maybe.. yeah... maybe..." He mutters to himself as he observes the scene. Soon after, Sentinels would be called over, seeking to find evidence towards the killer.
  19. Kristian blinks, as if slightly offended by the Kha's words, and Alirya's. He stands up as well, the cold armor clanking as he rubs at his eyes. "Miss, I'm a Warden. It's my job to concern myself 'bout these thin's. There's no need for orderin' me about. I know what's good for 'er. I just don't want the cub to meet the same fate as... what I assume is 'er father..." He runs a hand through his hair, seeming a tad annoyed. "Just take good care of 'er."
  20. Kristian kneels down, watching the cub in curiousity. His eyes glint a little as he tilts his head. He rubs his goatee thoughtfully. "Somethin' will 'ave to be done, ya see. A dead male Kha 'ere... in Malinor... don't bode well... ya know?"
  21. Kristian steps closer, his fatherly instincts taking hold. "A lost cub... poor thin'... must have been a terrible fight. She'll die out 'ere without any 'elp..."
  22. Kristian von Craw, Warden of Malinor, walks by. His eyes grow large at the sight of the Kha cub. "Oh my... little one... whatever happened here..." He kneels down by it, holding out his arms.
