  7. The Raell’uvuliran The Acaelanite Guild of Spicers (An Acaelanite bazaar.) Background and Brief History The Raell’uvuliran (Common: [Guild of] Spicers) is a fraternal organization and mercantile association of Acaelanite traders and craftsmen active in Aevos. The guild’s stated objectives are to advocate for the commercial interests of its members with a single voice, facilitate the creation of trade links between trading communities, and establish cooperative industrial facilities to maximize efficiencies through the pooling of resources. While the guild’s translated name in Common reflects their predominant trade in spices, in Ancient Elven, the corresponding word raell’uvul encompasses both culinary spices and herbs as well as alchemical reagants, oils, dyes, potions and other chemicals. Additionally, the Raell’uvuliran are heavily invested in other commodities, particularly those products of primary industries including minerals, gemstones, coffee, tea, sugar, tobacco, wheat, rice, wood and rubber as well as sundries such as liquor, textiles and incense. The Raell’uvuliran was established in IC 1957 by Acaelanite merchants operating in Aevos, and is one of many such fraternities interlinked with the broader network of Acaelanite ethnic communities engaged in long-distance trade. These international expatriate communities are known as di’vanan (sg. di’van), a word only imprecisely translatable as enclave or home, and usually center around far-flung Acaelanite temples and trading houses located in commercial hubs. The Raell’uvuliran are the only active and organized Acaelanite di’van in modern-day Aevos, additionally serving as shipping agents or middle-men in the import and export of commodities both within and outside of the continent. The emblem of the Raell’uvuliran is a tobacco sprig, and members of the organization can often be identified by their bronze brooches depicting this symbol, which they use to clasp their cloaks. Membership An anointed member of the Raell’uvuliran is known in the singular form as a raell’uvulir, roughly translating to ‘spicer’ or ‘spice merchant’ in Common. Accordingly, the guild’s name in Ancient Elven is the plural form of this word. While any may be associates or employees of the Raell’uviliran, only members of the Acaelanite ethnoreligious community may be anointed or ‘full’ members of their fraternal organization. The Raell’uvuliran are led by a saneyir (Common: ‘speaker’ or ‘president’), who serves as the mouthpiece of their collective membership, elected from among their number. All full members of the Raell’uvuliran are nominally equal, with the group taking the form of a cooperative fraternity possessing minimal formal hierarchy. All inquiries about membership or operations should be directed to the saneyir of the Raell’uvuliran. The current saneyir is Adriel Vallei. iyul’maele asiol oem Acaelan ito kae’leh, el’Tuva Uelln’ehya el’Bilokir Tuva’leh, illern’leh el’Taynuel maele’ehya ay evarn’sae ahe’Malin’onn Lye’ehya.
  8. A chuckle escapes Adriel as he reads the play. For a moment he ponders at its reality when suddenly the floodgates of memories open in his head, ones he had hoped to keep repressed. One night during his "knightly" patrol of the keep, he hears some strange giggling coming from one of the rooms. Unfamiliar with the sound, the brave elf chrages onwards, barging into the room with his hand on the hilt of his glowing druidic weapon only to find the Captain General himself, wiggling his toes in dragon-knit socks. The two shared a look, one that Adriel understood well. . . One that bid for his eternal silence.
  9. Adriel's gilded armor shone brightly under the harsh rays of the sun that bore over the sprawling wheat fields of Veletz. The copper-toned Acaelanite knelt at his shrine to el'oem el'asiol'ehya, the one and only God as he presented his sword still stained with the blood of the invaders. "Iyul’maele asiol oem Acaelan ito kae’leh. . ." The elf started his prayer with the words of his ancestors. "Give me the strength el'oem to drive out the invaders and beat them back each and every time. Guide my blade like you did sil Malin’leh in his crusade against the Deceiver and bring us to victory."
  10. Adriel readies his horse, taking his lance to skewer another thirty colonizers.
  11. Adriel comes to a halt on his horse, looking over the battlefield where he had slained a large number of coalitioners. The druid smiles, growing a field of crimson flowers over the corpses of those fallen to his blade.
  12. Adriel stood in the field, the acrid scent of burning wood and the moans of the wounded filled the air as he stared at the battered and broken halls that used to be Brasca. With a heavy heart, he stumbled across the battlefied, his senses hightened by the pain of loss. As he reached the heart of the conflict, he found Gustaf's lifeless form, his once vibrant eyes now closed. Grief washed over the Elf like a tidal wave, threatening to consume him. Adriel knelt besides his fallen friend, whispering a prayer of farewell into the wind. Gathering what strength remained withing him, Adriel dragged himself and the body of his brother at arms back home, every step a painful reminder of the friend he had lost. Along the way, the druid recalled the laughter shared, the victories that tasted of sweet triumph, and the unspoken understanding that bound their fates together, and in the pocket of his coat, a small parchment.
  13. "Aleksandr, Aleksandr, where did you go? On your horse, in a cowardly show. Battle called, but you chose to flee, A king in fear, rode off with tears." Sings Adriel as he wiped away blood from his sword.
  14. This seems like a cool idea, would be interesting to see it developed further and tried out
  15. In a display of love and unity, Princess Veynora, The Flame of Talar'nor married Prince Tymen of the West. The event was marked not only by the celebration of their love but also by an assassination attempt that showcased the courage of those gathered. The ceremony took place in the Talarian palace, decorated with lively colorful flowers, crystals, and candlelight. The event was a testament to the love our sovereigns share for each other and their people. Although not everyone shared in the joy of the nation. From under the window of the dais loomed a vampire that attempted to disrupt the joyous occasion. The beast’s attempt was swiftly thwarted by the combined efforts of Prince Hurin, Lanre Cerusil, and Elathion, who acted with remarkable speed and precision to neutralize the threat, ensuring the safety of all in attendance. (Depiction of Hurin and Lanre) The guest list included many notable dignitaries, including the Queen of Petra, the Captain General of the League of Veletz, representatives from Nor’asath, the sovereign of Vortice, envoys from the Kingdom of Aaun and Haense alongside the two heartfelt speeches from Midas and Darius Mareno. Their presence underscored the importance of Talar’nor's friends and allies for a bright future for our nation. Following the ceremony, a grand tournament was held in celebration, a testament to the martial prowess of those in attendance. Men and women from across the realms battled fiercely, but in the end, a champion emerged. Vanderm Marwill came out victorious, claiming a prestigious trophy along with a grand prize of 500 minae. For those who did not seize the tournament’s glory, a free-for-all brawl awaited, with fierce competitors battling for honor and riches. The victorious brawler, Philip Montalt left the arena standing with 250 minae and the admiration of the crowd. (Portrait of the winner, Philip Montalt) In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, Princess Veynora and Prince Tymen expressed their deepest appreciation for their allies and their beloved citizens who graced the occasion with their presence. The Royal couple told the Talarian Times: “We look forward to a future filled with prosperity and shared adventures.” The wedding of Princess Veynora and Prince Tymen will surely be remembered as the start of a new era. It will be remembered not only for the love that bound two hearts but for the bravery that united our Principality in the face of uncertainty. As the sun sets on this glorious day, it rises on a new era of unity and prosperity for Talar’nor. @iFractal @Urge @amongus @Milenkhov @sam33497 @FlemishSupremacy @MaltaMoss Thank you all for coming!

  22. Ofc more colors, even after 10 years of play I forget which of the highest VIP is which. Also nice for the story team to have set colors for their sub-teams. I think it makes sense having the basic colors for non-vip players and custom colors for VIP but I understand everyone wanting to change their colors, maybe making available in one of the lower options. VIP should also be revamped, but that's for another time. Mabey something like this for the VIP changes: A lighter shade of purple, maybe like a lilac for bedrock (or the other way around)
  23. Aerendir claps at the coronation. "Hoorah!" He exclaims.
