  4. Sometimes, you just gotta calm down... and be like "ok, I gotta do this first to get to this, and then I gotta do that other thing aswell." When you take off the rose colored glasses and analyze the steps leading to the fulfillment of your passion, you will truly be enlightened. Everything will seem so much more orderly. ;)

The Lone hunter is what the name means in common. Erfaron's parents were fleeing Asulon and making their way to Kalos by boat when he was born. Back in Asulon Erfaron's father, Valenian'Doldir owned a grape farm near Elandrial and made most of his profit as a travelling grape vendor, selling grapes to the elves of Normandor and Elandriel. Erfaron's mother, Eowyn had known Valenian since he was a child and was much older than Valenian but after years of being involved with eachother something blossomed between them. When Erfaron's parents arrived on Kalos they followed the elves, settling down alongside them and integrating themselves into the Kalosian Elven society. Valenian sprouted a new farm nearby the elven settlement where he and Eowyn made substantial profit from the newly sprouted grape farm. Erfaron was raised on it, he started to help his father with the farm when he was 12. He learned many things from his father such as hunting, fighting, and farming. He lived a quaint life and had no real trouble at all, by the time he was 30 the beings of Kalos moved to Anthos. Erfaron lost his parents during the voyage, he was lured by a mysterious man wearing earth colored robes almost druidic like. The man led him to a secluded place and waved his hands infront of Erfaron's face. Erfaron was sent into an everlasting dream in which it seemed as if he simply walked onto the boat and sailed to Anthos. In this dream Erfaron experienced Anthos how he thought it would be, there was a constant bluish tinge to his vision constantly but Erfaron was unaware that this was a dream. In this dreamland Anthos he created a life for himself and met a dark elven woman named Tilrinae. Erfaron loved Tilrinae for she knew him like no other and he knew her like no other, they were meant for eachother but that was only because she was infact the perfect woman his subconcious could create for him. Erfaron had children with Tilrinae and lived in a malinorian tree abode atop a hill overlooking a beautiful elven city, his life was perfect but it was never there. Erfaron lived 30 years in this dream, raising his kids, loving his wife, and enjoying this dream life. Sometimes Erfaron couldn't believe how amazing his life turned out, the thoughts of disbelief came and went when his loving wife would come up to his room with warm tea and sweet whispers. After 30 years of this dream, Erfaron slowly started to take notice of the bluish tinge in his vision, he started to go mad and the blueish tinge grew so strong that everything he saw was blue. Every druid that Erfaron went to simply told him to accept fate. After this, Erfaron was convinced that he had to commit suicide before the blue would blind him so much that he would not even be able to see the knife, rope, or ledge so that he can kill himself. Erfaron cried and sobbed as he felt his children's hands and his wife's hands upon him, weeping and mourning him as he walked towards the ledge of his balcony, the bluish tinge growing ever more overwhelming, he feels for the ledge and as he throws himself off of the ledge the bluish tinge grows so strong that he is completely blinded. The wind and the sensation of falling stops and he awakes in a desolate druid's grove with a stone near him with a marking etched upon it that resembled a crescent moon, it slowly faded out and in the blue light eminating from it, dissipating. Erfaron was just as muscular as he was in the dream somehow and was not hungry nor thirsty. Yet he could not find the man who did this to him, the man in the Earth colored robes. Now Erfaron scours Anthos in search of a life that was never there, for he is not aware that he was in a dream. Erfaron is convinced that upon falling he was helped to safety. Erfaron was confused, and lost as he trudged out of the Malinor Druid's grove and into the city of Luminaire. Erfaron spent days searching for his family and his treetop home but there was no trace of either, Luminaire, anthos, the whole land looked so much different from what Erfaron remembered it as. No minas were in Erfaron's satchel so he signed up with the Lumidrum, becoming a Sentinel. While Erfaron upheld his duties as a Lumidrum he also seeked guidance in the Malinor druid's grove, meditating there and practicing to become a druid so that he can be at peace in this dark time of his life. Erfaron still believes that Tilinrae will somehow reunite with him and all will be well again, Erfaron was now 60 years of age. After a few weeks of being a lumidrim he received his first pay and decided to go to the cloud temple. Upon going to the cloud temple he noticed a beautiful path that led to a hole in the ground descending into a dark chasm. Here, Erfaron met a strange being that listened to his woes and gave him some advice. Erfaron felt strange towards this woman, even though the chasm was too pitch dark to see any of her features he was at peace with knowing she was nearby. This being told Erfaron to basically give up hope that his wife Tilinrae will turn up. After a brief encounter with this being, Erfaron didn't really dwell on what the being said, Erfaron's hope and passion was too strong, he would never give up on the thought that he would see his family again. After a few nights, Erfaron decided to go back to the being in the chasm, this time he brought a dim blue lantern so that he would be able to lay eyes upon this being for the first time, Erfaron also brought a book for he felt bad for the being that lived in isolation. Upon entering the chasm a second time, Erfaron asked the being it's name, the being was Equidae Druid Sabrae. Erfaron got a good look at the being's face as he handed her the book, it reminded him of his wife Tilinrae in most aspects. Erfaron would continue to find books around Anthos and deliver them to Sabrae. Erfaron says that he feels that she needs to read about what goes on outside of her chasm yet in reality it is because he feels like it is Tilinrae he is saving. After a few days, orcs attacked malinor and Erfaron squared off with the Orc raider Gronnk and defeated him in combat, severing his head, shrinking it and putting it up as the first being he killed in defense of malinor. A few days after this Erfaron decided that he would get some books for Sabrae, he went to the druid's grove where Apple Druid Leyun allowed him to copy 6 books from the library. After copying these books he brought them to Sabrae, it was always a battle and a dilemma for Erfaron to descend into Sabrae's chasm he felt that he always needed a reason to be down there and on this meeting he knew that it would be quick and that Sabrae would want him to be quick. Erfaron slowly crept down the stone pathways leading into the Chasm of Sabrae as he saw the turned back of Sabrae at the end of the chasm he greeted her with a gentle "Karin'ayla". Sabrae did not turn around, she simply kept on staring away from Erfaron. Erfaron waited for about an hour before he drifted off to sleep, awakening to a weary yawn from Sabrae. Sabrae had a face of utter disgust and cringe as she looked over to notice Erfaron waking up in her chasm. This was the face that Erfaron awoke to, a cringed and disgusted face. Efaron was flooded with frustration and melancholy as he rose from his resting place with the sack of books he had spent hours copying for her. Sabrae watched and groaned lowly as Erfaron set the sack of books down upon one of the chests in the chasm. Erfaron was so frustrated and sad that he turned and walked up the spiral stairs out of the chasm with no words, a tinge of reluctance was within him but reason told him that if he stayed he would only be hurt more. Erfaron went to his barracks in utter dismay, he tossed cups, plates, his blade, quivers all around the room in a frenzy of anger and sadness. He was rejected by all, no matter what he did. The only people who ever cared for him were lost to Erfaron, yet in reality...in a reality Erfaron never truly understood, those people never existed. The only thing anchoring Erfaron to reality was the hope that Tilinrae would come back. Each night the feelings started to grow more and more distant, the hope fading as his family and life seemed almost like a distant dream with each rising sun. The next night Erfaron went to the cloud temple, blade in hand. He sat on the grass, watching the moonlit lake outside of Sabrae's chasm. Melancholy and fading hope were the only two spectres that occupied his soul on this night, this cold and lonely night. Erfaron put the blade to his neck and contemplated eternal sleep, maybe he would see his family again...hold his children and kiss his wife on the lips that were oh so quickly fading from his memory. The cold steel ran across Erfaron's neck slowly as he contemplated more and more, the only thing keeping him from making the final movement was still the faint hope that perhaps Tilinrae would come running with his children at her side screaming for him in joy, some story garbled through ecstatic words to explain where they have been and then perhaps Erfaron would take the sword away from his neck and show it to his eldest son, show him how to wield it, how to sheath it, and how to care for it. This faint hope kept Erfaron waiting for 2 hours, blade to his neck he could spot the Equidae druid pop in and out of the chasm from the corner of his tearful eyes, not a care in the world not even a sigh or one of Sabrae's oh so famous groans. All of the sudden a voice was heard from the bridge leading to the cloud temple library "Sentinel...what are you doing with that blade?" Erfaron darted his eyes towards the bridge to see Prince Khel and Vanguard Lo'han. As Erfaron looked out into the moonlit lake he spoke "I...am polishing it, sir." Khel sighed deeply, running a hand through his hair "Sentinel, stop this, do not doubt yourself...you are a protector of peace, the head of Gronk that hangs in your room at this moment proves that you are someone who matters in the eyes of the people, perservere my brother." Erfaron did not care what the people of malinor or anyone thought of him, yet Khel's words struck a chord within him. The afterlife, reality, all that is fictional and all that is real, for all of this Erfaron knew that some day Tilinrae would see him again and if he gave up now, Tilinrae would either mourn from this physical life or look at him as weak from the afterlife. A passion sparked within Erfaron's being that spoke very clear to him, if he makes himself the best man that he could be within this life, when he meets again Tilinrae whether in this life or the next, he will shine through and through as the strongest spirit in Tilinrae's eyes. Every step, every moment that Erfaron betters himself with will be towards Tilinrae. Nothing else but her matters, ever person he helps, every harsh time he endures will all be in honor of Tilinrae. Erfaron took the sword away from his neck and looked towards the dusk sky and wept. The next day Erfaron was called to the square, the Lumidrim were preparing to venture to the north. It was a harsh day, Erfaron slaughtered many beasts of the north and proved himself worthy in the end by coming up with the malinorian turtle idea, the mage blundermore would stand in the center keeping an arcane light alive to fend off the monsters while the rest of the lumidrim formed a square around him. Upon arriving home Erfaron was promoted to Vanguard. The next night Erfaron had another encounter with Equidae Druid Sabrae, she informed him that she had not infact read any of the 6 books he had copied for her. Yet Erfaron couldn't force anything upon the woman. She pressingly asked him as she layed upon the grass "Why do you take concern in what I do or not do with the books?" Erfaron cringed inside as he heard that for the answer he wished to give was truly just a billion sobs, he only knew Sabrae for a small amount of time and what was he supposed to say? That it pains him when she doesn't read the books that he copied for her because she reminds him of his wife, Tilinrae? Instead Erfaron just said "You are right...I shouldn't have any concern." Then Erfaron spent the rest of the night laying on the grass as Sabrae layed upon the grass across the small river, just speaking of the past and of the Mori'quessir, a conversation going nowhere but it was the only company Erfaron had in these dark times.
