  1. "Prepare your diddily hole" - Tythus 29/12/2014

  2. "Oh belka's stink bucket..." Exclaims a dwarf.
  3. Lori gets out a mop and cleans it up, Glothir his golem does all the work though. Advertisements are left about the place. "Bleach! Its all I drink!" - Vorstag Ireheart.
  4. Lori looks over it, nodding in approval before he abruptly laughs rather loudly. "Ah university hall named after Urir!? Ah don't think 'e could even feckin' read mate!"
  5. However if someone usually even mentions trying to resolve this they almost always get reprimanded by the community of PVPers. I honestly still hold the opinion that PVP does not result in satisfying RP in any ways bar full scale warclaims. The vilanny system would indeed by fixed by this. I indeed penned a full fledged document that detailed the creation of a 3 tier VA for common evil, greater evil and raid pass VA's. There wouldn't be questions of "Do you have a VA for that" due to the general scale and wide reach of the VA's. I honestly feel that while a blacklisting system is indeed a good idea as a tool for the GM's to use, it does not go far enough to curve the issue. The system of villainy is fundamentally broke at the moment due to the fact that so many people basically play high school drama with a fantasy roleplay mixxed in with large amounts of trolling. You have to go a long way to find quality roleplay. When I say find I mean find people to generate it with, because half the time when you try and create a RP situation their some form of trolly character or the literally a character with the developmental capacity of a rock. Rip off characters from anime galore people need to be moderated on RP quality, originality and how they present it. We can't say we support RP on this server by just saying "Hopefully the community will RP." The way the server has been pushed further and further towards PVP systems with the tech team leaves me skeptical on if the server should have been advertised for the last year as a RP server or a RPG-PVP server. Continue to push for RP moderation and focus on it by staff, RP quality will sustain this server and RP is what this server is about.
  6. Naaa a compromise was made when I helped Menara submit the doc, they came to a vilany blacklist. They may however after this make VA's to result in raid passes.
  7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apav8vgfxMQ The sexy sax guy from moldova 2012, this got really popular at my college for some reason.
  8. No, unlike america the majority of the planet goes with the date format D/M/Y, because you know... its logical.
  9. -34/10 Where you a undead or something?
  10. Lord Ireheart sits at his Thane Throne with many a young beardling scribe working through dusty books and ageing scrolls. After looking over multiple letters and reflecting on the thanes meeting of that day. He rubs his face and orders some scribes to to write up a letter while he takes a sip of his ale and whipes his face. "Te' feck 'es dis' even fer.. weh signed 'ah treateh fer 'ah reason, n' dese bastards all go n' attack each oda'." He sends out a letter, inviting the Konig of Aesterwald, King of Akovia, Rex of the Rexdom of Kurgmar and the current Premier of Renatus. It reads... "Dear Konig of Aesterwald/Rex/Premier of Renatus/King of Akovia/Friend of Malinor... Its come to the attention of the Grand Kingdom a great tragedy may come to take place in the destabilisation of the treaty regarding Akovia. The Grand Kingdom formally invites diplomats from your nations of indeed yourself to address the thanes council on the nature of the conflict so that a inform decision can be made, and indeed if a court as established by the treaty needs to be established. The meetings shall be happening in four stone days where diplomats of the Grand Kingdom along with thanes will be available and set aside time to meet with your representatives, lest you wish to represent yourself. A response regarding a time in which you will be available would be most appreciated. Yours Truely, Lord Lori Ireheart."
  11. Lori Ireheart crosses his fingers and wishes very hard for one thing. Around 130,000 souls and a couple plane forges because their harder to make than the magnet. Alternatively, he wishes for a fabled runic espresso maker from Starbreaker-bucks.
  12. 5/10 A-wald never stops whining about your tavern.
  13. If by any chance you are looking for evil roleplay might I suggest the ET supported guild the Acerbus Cult. https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/118827-oocic-the-acerbus-event-guild/ Currently, we hold the undead as a server antagonist. The Drakaar are still around and kicking, they are just pretty rare because there is no short order to bringing around dragons. The last server antagonist was a single corrupted Drakaar. I believe however that I can agree with you, both Good and Evil are vague atm.
  14. The book becomes a best seller in dwarven lands after its discovery.
  15. No no, like, this time they loaded a old save, not /lb stuff
  16. Elrolas returns for this day. Reading this he feels something none other then the enlightened would understand. This child, to none of their knowledge, was beyond important and in the grand scale of things he was critical. He magically jumps out of Kalameet's closet. "Its time."
  17. Wasn't this posted ages ago and denied?
  18. Another thing to add is that just because you have magic, does not mean you don't carry a set of chain and a sword around. People who RP melee characters or magic will still need MC representation, and the likely hood is the magic plugin won't shield you from the necessity with its own resources when its released. I have seen groups of 8-9 killed in closed rooms where they had absolute advantage by even just 1 person because they all went and had no armour and ended up hitting themselves. One of the occasions (of many) I asked why these people don't carry armour. They always reply that "They shouldn't have to, their mages." Just because your a mage, does not mean you get a cheap and easy life without armour and weapons and expecting handouts from governments every warclaim. You must always own a couple sets of chain (Literally, a days voting accounts for the cost of a set), and you will be fine and dandy to protect yourself from bandits. Its a social effect, if everyone is equally well equipped and a small playerbase of PVPers harasses a larger one, the larger one ends up finding their consistently outnumbered. It will eliminate just the cases where 1-2 people can hold up the standing inn etc. And one last thing. If someone is banditing someone else, and there are enough people around, its not just the victims fight. Its always your fight if you are a victim to bandits and aren't friends with said bandits.
  19. I think as a event creature these would be awesome. I am however not so hot on them as players.
  20. The one outside of the refugee is taken by one of the occasional dwarven scout servitor that checks up on the location. It would be presented by Thane Ireheart at the next council. I am sure it would be replaced soon after.
