As a dwarf, don't ask dwarves to perform feats of science. Its usually a certain engineer or group of idiots and said engineer screaming industry making a stupid contraption that is inpractile via 0 roleplay because what he believes he can build in MC he can do in RP. High elves have greater science in that sense. However, I would also raise the point that high elves have with identical designs to (more reasonable) dwarves been allowed to do more for ??? reason. Regardless, if people take IRL principles and apply them ingame then someone will just use the science excuse to make stupidly advanced things. We should consciously try to be medieval/Renaissance era in tech. We have magics, they are easier to moderate. While I do enjoy scientific RP, people make vast assumptions on what is common knowledge in RP in terms of physics and the likes. Indeed, people even mentioning the different gasses by name or being able to say that they identified white phosphorus and the likes is painful when I think of realism in science RP. Steam power is also considered a dwarven thing, they get real defensive over their exclusivity of the knowledge. This mainly stems from the fact that otherwise everyone says they can use all our engineering on the spot and instantly replicate it because they understand the forces at work. Truth of the matter is, metagaming makes technology non-viable on the server. Magics can be moderated, and redstone can explain contraptions.

As a Prophet of the Dwarven faith I must stand for the accuracy of this photo beyond all others. It captures Urguan's immaculate image, truly a visage fitting of the shekeliest dwarf. I honestly feel that they should just not allow running from RP. I won't lie, its not just the PVPers who call it, but the edgie powergamers who run from unfavourable RP scenarios.

Think of it like this. I am British and Scandinavians in Sweden and Norway are both white. We are both Germanic peoples who as populations may have similar traints developed that are 'characteristic' to our distinct populations, however we are all just Germanic Caucasians. Similarly, High Elves and Snow Elves are nothing but two different cultures and populations but of the same race. The wiki was edited by Jax, a snow elf, and he has changed things that may not be accurate or allowed. The wiki is open to edit and may be changed by anyone who requests wiki access. I could right now, considering I have wiki access, go say that Snow Elves are prone to epilepsy, or just declare them a subrace without permission from the lore team, does not make it lore correct or allowed. PS. Them being slightly able to live in cold environments is more something you would adopt over time as a persona as your body finds it more prudent to produce low temperature enzymes for its actions. I would doubt they are anything lower than 1 or 2 degrees Celsius cooler in core temperature, but they may be less likely to blush and turn red, exposing their blood to cool close to the surface. However, this would presumably make them quite lethargic.

Suggestion/cool idea: You should start to find your apatite gets ruined if you can shape shift into both a herbivore and a carnivore, continuously conflicted on if it tastes good or bad. You eventually settle that everything you eat must be covered in salt or you feel sick and disgusting.

Name says it all. Dwarves have a large number of families that all recieve numerous applications and so forth every day. These can not be codified into one post and thus would require about 8 active pinned threads at once. This megathread concept is not applicable to our society. We also have guilds and we have holds, together they make something worthy of a sub-forum. I mean, I am honestly against the removal of the sub-forums because now the forums look like a absolute mess, so may we please clean up the dwarven Roleplay board and get our sub-forums back, I am sure many other people feel the same for their own respective races.

Nope, the establishment of the Chaplain system of the Kirkja Dverga. All was in place before hand, they merely represent the militant order I had established on the Kirkja Dverga thread in July.
