  1. Hellfiazz, we wish to impose on all dwarves like it has been before. They can say at any point they have irongut blood. A new dwarf can have a trillion times great father in the ironguts, whatever. Its an Irongut thing.
  2. I feel I have to re-itterate this. We gain no benefits from not being able to use magic bar handling thanium. No magic resistance, at all. Just no void magic without Irongut blood.
  3. Hellfiazz did you even /read/ the post?
  4. We are talking about our ability to use magic. Not what the plugin says. Funnily enough, we can't use magic if we don't have Irongut blood. Dwarves are distant from the void and the use of the void is impossible because oh how hard it is to initially connected. Ironguts do not face this issue. Dwarves may always say they have Irongut blood. This does not mean their in the clan. They can happily be a 4th cousin twice removed to be a magic user. This does not give anyone the resistance to a fireball, our blessing is to be smart creatures from availer. The MC buff means nothing to us. We only care about RP consequences of non-Irongut blood being able to use magic and thus destroy our clan identities. We can handle Thanium, that's the furthest our distance to the void gives us. Its our lore, not self imposed, we don't want any MC buffs relevent to it, but its our lore.
  5. Generally speaking we just say that you have a irongut relative if you use void magic. However, dwarves can not use void magic unless they have irongut relatives as a general rule.
  6. I am just going to make the point that two leaders on both sides of their civil war are actively voting yes. The reality is the snelves think they are dead, they just want both sides to end and make their nation a foot note it seems. I think a peaceful departure could be done for them, a couple events whipping them out if they really wished.
  7. Lori pees on it all. He invites overs to join him. During his thoughts while urinating, he thinks long and hard about this cult's objectives and policy. Why would people possibly bother to work with these people who clearly are using substandard magic? And why would they leave their farming props around, considering scythes are the most unweildy weapon he can imagine. He just concludes this person had fit in well in Malinor.
  8. Elrolas Laenniel'tahorran, so wanting to be skeptical, can not actually deny that half of the elves he had tasked himself to defend where in some way necromancer sympathizing psychopaths. He remembers when he had to deal with elves legitimately saying "The scourge allow more freedom than you, who are you to ask me to take MY hood off!" When they had brandished throwing knives on his person. And he remembers when he had to arrest a man for horrifically torturing a child for stealing potatos from him. And when he had tortured those who perverted the lines between life and death for information, he was deemed unethical in stopping such a taint in land he so wished to love. The world he had tried to protect so long was the world he had hated ever so much, which would allow him to painfully accept now that he may even agree with this current elven authority. (( Not changing to a high elf or anything, but I can't help but feel Elrolas would have almost agreed with this.))
  9. A reasonable member of Thales questions in what way do the snelves possess the technological or logistical prowess to actually perform the act of creating a ice ship. Nor.. do they see the reason of using a ice ship. (( Legit, I would love to see a explanation of how you legitimately believe its possible to create a ice ship in Thales with your resources, as well as why you couldn't settle for a normal ship.))
  10. Could be done differently, instead the dwarves always have a speed debuff even when unarmoured, but it doesn't extra-stack with armour.

  12. Then sporadic will the elf basic speed be less than the goblin?
  13. The thread is fine guys. I believe high elves /should/ have a magic buff. The magic buff should constitute to a passive buff at lower levels of magic. This is due to the fact that they will culturally centered off it and expertise pertaining to efficient void control that allow them to more adequately use mana at younger ages. This however, should have a diminishing marginal return as they get stronger, and only have a very little increase at the top end of the magic tiers. As I suggested, one or two medium/low power spells. Adunians deserve something that reflects their scotish based rebelious nature and lone wolf seperatist style of play? +2 hearts when with less than 3 other humans, -2 when with more than 6.
  14. I would say that high elves should have a larger manner pool at lower levels, meaning that fledgling mages in high elven society will be gaining from the say... education and structure of society giving many domestic magic at a young age and blah daddy blah but only a very small true cap increase, of maybe say a extra T-3 shot. This would mean that no race is incentivised for a good "Magic build." But please, devs, can you address the fact they have no-debuffs. Elves deserve a heart less health in general from literally being, in the good words of Buubztik'Lur, "Twiggies."
  15. The perspective of having higher speed doesn't just give you a "Running away bonus" it gives you a re-engagement bonus, you can press any advantage you gain far far faster. If you got a couple good crits in you gain advantage to be able to re-engage through knockback. Goblins are identical, and have a health penalty. The bow damage model couple potentially make them able to break an attack, and dark elves lawn dart charge into a line or a instant re-engagement through knockback. You could also circle someone repeatedly, gain FOV bonus, are able to bounce people in knockback because you can follow up strikes by getting in range quicker... oh the list goes on. TL;DR, Wood, common and Dark elves need a health de-buff to compensate their buffs. Dhovii, you are talking abot Orcs, not goblins. I am talking about goblins. I accept you have a couple good points, but I also think that you mak lack a little knowledge in the benefit of speed and bow power. I accept however, because it was a oversight that high elf buffs do not give them a edge due to mages having lower health. If any move to amend this was made that should be very much considered.
  16. Very sorry to interject here, but why do elves gain no PVP debuffs when they have the buffs of passive magic damage resistance, extra speed and ranged combat advantages but no downside, say, less health? EDIT: Goblins have a health debuff for similar buffs, why don't elves?
  17. Lori looks over the buildings, as he takes a wander around the town rubbing his chin and sinking in to a tankard of ale. "Dis' place 'ere be less structurally stable than te' average schizophrenic dark elf."
  18. (( "Illegal occupation" is in no place formalised. If I am incorrect, please link me to a post where the sustained area occupation after a raid to say.. loot etc is against the rules? As well as this, to my knowledge it will be how you take over a location in the next map, sitting on their region core till it pops their faction.
  19. Could a FM message me when they see this? I need help with making a post but can't get the spoilers to work as intended.

  20. Lori, after getting all trippy has a long think about the object, after dropping it. "Te' 'ell is 'ah Vastos? Actualleh, this ahl' seems like 'eresy." He then marks up that red symbol, and generally speaking the attire of those involved in the vision, and makes sure all the dwarven legion have a picture to reference.
  21. The High Prophet frowns at this sytem. "'Ah paragons should nay be weighed te' same as 'ah legionnaire. Paragons should beh' four points."
  22. Very strange my thread got deleted. Anways, I really can't be the only one who thinks the map being called 'Thales' sounds just like 'Fails'?

It wasn't the OP that got the thread trashed, it was that all the replies are complaints about delays.
