  11. this post is about last month not this month my friend. That person has been handled and dealt with accordingly when the situation occurred.
  12. The Month of July Hello Everyone! I am back from my beach vacation and hiatus! I hope everyone has been relaxing, going swimming, and having a fun summer. The end of last month was quite busy for myself and unfortunately I was unable to post and finish up June’s newsletter. Therefore, this month’s newsletter will include some details from last month to ensure everyone is all caught up on what has been going on. I hope you enjoy! Notable News The latest and greatest on Lord of the Craft. New Administrator For those of you that have been living under a rock, we’ve had a couple of shifts in the Administration. Fireheart has stepped away for moderation and filled the hole in the Development Administrative position. Pun, one of the former moderation managers has now taken Fire’s position as Moderation Administrator and has been working hard to take steps forward in improving the teams structure and get the team running smoothly once more. Pun is undeniably passionate about the server and its community as has been working extremely hard to improve communications between moderation and the community. We wish her the best of luck as she continues to grow and improve in the position! The Lore Games The long awaited Lore Games has officially begun! As stated in the post, everyone will receive 3 months time to complete a draft of their lore in which will be reviewed by Story thereafter. Your lore then will then be given another month to be edited and corrected respectively. Read over the post thoroughly to know the full details and what you need to do to partake in the Lore Games! Team Updates The freshest scoop from the Team Directors themselves—learn all you can about your favorite teams. Development Back in June Development has received a new Administrator, Fireheart. With the help of Elennore, Fire has been giving the team structure and foundation in order to grow and improve. They have begun the dev trails and new members have been accepted onto the team. The team has over the month of July have been working on event build so that the Story Actors can work on some more events to come in the future. For an update on the Technicians for the month of July check out their post: Tech Update #1 - Bountiful Botany Moderation As mentioned above, Pun took up the reigns as Moderation Administrator. For the month of June the teams larger focus was on working out the conflict rules and we move into the month of July they will be focused on getting accustomed to the changes. This past month, Moderation have gone through numerous roster changes, policy rewrites and has begun dealing with the overflow of charters. We saw several of the moderation team leave and others join. Currently we have a number of our policies being reworked or officiated, Zach has taken the lead with the Forums and Pun is leading the overhaul for the in-game and discord updates. Charters have been a burning topic all month long, with a plugin being developed by 501, new systems being made, and the culling of the inactive charters underway with func_Soap at the helm. For more information on what the Moderation has been up to for the month of July check out: Moderation Update Log- July 2019 Community The Community Team have been working on a number of projects during the months of June and July. Towards the end of June and into July the team has taken on the wiki and wiki sect was dissolved. With the transfer being complete, the team has been working hard at restructuring some main pages and working on a new front page in order to make the wiki organized and user friendly. The team’s goal is to move forward with the overhaul of the wiki to properly keep the crucial informational pages of the wiki update so information is correct and easy to find for new and old members alike. In addition, Ivory has returned as a Community Manager after a short break from the team. At the current moment, the team is almost at max capacity and after this months new picks we do not plan to bring anymore on for awhile. For a more detailed description of how the team has been fairing these past two months and the projects they are working out, check out the Community Monthly Update Log - July 2019. Story Back in June Story were working and have been continuing to work on a number of projects. ScreamingDingo has been doing an excellent job at getting things moving on in the Story Actor department of story. For more information on the event area, check out his post in June: Event Sect Update- June. For the past couple months Story has been preparing for the Lore Games which have now begun, mentioned in the Notable News section of this post. The Lore section of Story has recently put out an update regarding the Bradduk Clan of the orcs: Lore Update: Regarding the Braduk Bloodline Trendy Feedback Our crack team of gobos compiles, analyses, and critiques our feedback forums for the top-echelon of community suggestions. We’ve picked out some of the most unique, noteworthy, and civil articles from this month. Season Name Changes Based on Region An interesting idea that seems to have been floating around a few communities recently, discussed here as posted feedback. While we cannot promise to have this suggestion implemented anytime soon, if at all, we certainly think it’s something worth consideration. As such, we’ll pass it along to the Technicians to see if its plausible for implementation. Discussion Post: Activity Strikes Recently there has been a number of feedback posts going up regarding the activity check system. We decided to highlight this one which was written by bbblazerz to provoke some discussion and conversation within the community. From these feedback posts, we have taken the different ideas into consideration and recently have lowered the activity percentage to better coincide with the servers current activity. We are still evaluating the system and are actively looking for ways to balance and improve it! The Player Province Community Spotlight Bright, committed, and talented people fill our community. With the community spotlight, we highlight one individual that stands out this month. This player engages the laid-back attitude, charitable spirit, and proactive nature hailed in our community guidelines. For this reason, we congratulate them for their hard-earned achievements! Zadie After hearing many great things, we have chosen Zadie to be our Community Spotlight for the month of July! Check out the interview below and see what she had to say about her experience on LotC! Interview Hello Zadie, the Administration overhears much about your attitude and accomplishments. We would like to highlight you in this month’s community spotlight! Tell us about how you found out about Lord of the Craft and how you got into roleplay! [Zadie] I first heard about Lord of the Craft from a couple of friends in June 2012. They'd just recently applied, so I figured 'hey, why not?' and applied too. And here I am today, still here! As for getting into roleplay, I first got into roleplay when I was about fourteen, and I was browsing the Neopets website. The forums section caught my attention and I went looking through it only to find the Roleplay subforum. That was all she wrote! Tell us about an experience on the server that your find rememberable and thoroughly enjoyed! [Zadie] I enjoyed the atmosphere and the builds, honestly. I couldn't really the server at first, because it was so laggy, so I didn't regularly RP on it until Athera, but the buildings when I could log on, were lovely. This is probably going to sound cheesy, but I thoroughly enjoy the friends I've made on the server in the time I've been on it. I wouldn't change them for the world. Outstanding Volunteer Award We present this accolade to an exceptional staff member. We are honored and humbled that they choose our team and our server. And this month the award goes to... Tha_Mystery_Man This month our Outstanding Volunteer Award goes to @Tha_Mystery_Man. During the month of June Mystery has been putting his time and work into delivering quality roleplay events to the community. Namely, his voidal tear event which many members of the community openly expressed their enjoyment and satisfaction. We thank Mystery for all of the hard work he has put in this month and we can’t wait to see more events from him in the future! Interview What do you enjoy most about being apart of Staff, specifically Story? The main thing I enjoy about being a Story Team member is just being able to craft stories for the server. Often times this server actually loses the focus of what it's actually suppose to be... which is roleplay. I like taking our lovely community and giving them an enjoyable experience that also enrichens the world lore that the server his built up over for the last few years. Events are just a way for people to walk away from the war claims, drama, and dividing IRP barriers, and just focus on their own character development. That alone is honestly an important factor in making sure to RETAIN players, and make sure the people who are staying on this server aren't bored, and actually have stuff to DO rather then going somewhere else. We heard that your voidal tear event went very well and was well received by the community. Can you tell us a little about the event and your thought process behind it? With my Voidal Tear Event my thought process around it was to bring into play a lot of the lore that isn't commonly seen on LOTC and bring forth a kind of dynamic and intriguing element that focused more on RP and character development rather than random murder-hobo attacking. As well I believe the majority of the reason it was so well received by the community was due to the advertisement I had done for it, and keeping it a dynamic experience for everyone. People could go to the tear and expect shit that they'd never seen before due to the unique nature of the void and what creatures lay within that twisted realm. Not only that, it was opened up for the general populous (albeit being a hard event) where anyone could walk in and have their own personal feeling experience. Im gunna be real, I wasnt really expecting the event to blow up to the proportions of where it is right now, but when I had a 35+ RALLY for a singular excursion, I realized that I had something very special. It's because of the community and everyone getting equally invested that i've been able to maintain the heavy workload all by myself and continue to merge a story around the experiences, and I cant wait to dive back into the next upcoming part of the eventline! Top VIP The truth is that without the funds to cover our monthly costs we cannot support this wonderful experience. I think I speak for all of us when I say, thank you to our wonderful contributors. To the greatest VIP contributor this month we bid our humble gratitude and a spotlight in our newsletter. kinblod Our top contributor this month is kinblod. Your donations is what helps us keep the server up and running for everyone to enjoy. We are grateful for your contribution to the server, thank you so much! The Creative Quarter Guide Spotlight One way to lend a service to your community is the guide! Bold players write them for a targeted audience and share expertise, commentary, tips. We present to you a compelling, practical, and ambitious guide written this month! Settlement Guides The Community Staff asked all of the nations and charters to create settlements guides to help assist new players learn about the different active roleplay locations on the current map. There are too many to list them all out but give the section a look through, there are quite a lot of interesting and informative guides written up this month! Roleplay Spotlight When we think roleplay often we look to our fantastic Minecraft experience. Nonetheless! We are proud of you, our authors, who produce innumerable works—none the lesser, many are amusing, stimulating, and impactful. We’ve chosen one among the many creative posts this month. The Arcas Weather Forecast For the month of June we chose The Arcas Weather Forecast for our roleplay spotlight. This is an ingenious and well-thought out post for the past week’s weather forecast throughout all of Arcas. This post was made to introduce some more compelling and slice of life into the roleplay setting, and from the looks of it this will be a recurring segment. Written by: @Aethling The Setting of the Moon This posts tells a story of the death of Hsieh-Xin who fought bravely against the voidal tear. He left two scrolls behind, one which contained a beautifully written poem. Check out the post to give it a read! Written by: @Salty Of Mothers and Daughters A riveting story of Empress Adeline and Princess Vivenne as they sail away to escape the land that once brought them glory and fortune. However, little did they know that the trip to Aedlin would be their last. This PK post was beautifully written and well worth the read! Written by: @Trinn & @Axelu Thank you for reading and we hope you all enjoyed. We can’t wait to see the content that will come from you over the course of this next month. Remember to have fun and enjoy your time as summer begins to come to an end and school starts up again! Have fun, take care, and thank you all, LotC Administration

  15. COMMUNITY TEAM MONTHLY UPDATE LOG- June 2019 Introduction Hey all you people won’t you listen to meeeeeee! I’ve got another monthly update for you all. This month was an excellent month for the team. During June the team has been striving to put more of an effort into their focus group projects, player guidance, and intervention. Overall, trying to be a greater presence in game to assist players and new players wherever we can. In addition, as this month has come to a close we have brought on two new managers, @Thomas and @Rave_Cave_marb, who have been some of our hardest workers this month as you will see in the quota stats below. They have a drive to improve the team and help us better serve the community. I congratulate them and I can’t wait to see the great things they may accomplish. Now let’s get into it! If you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know what the community team is, you can read more info about the Community Team’s policies [Here] Community Team Roster Member Alterations + Tahmas promoted to Manager + + Marb121 promoted to Manager + + SaltyOlog added as Community + + WholesomeRP added as Community + - Doom321 removed from the Community (you’re still my son <3) - - emmanatalyia stepped down from the Community - - ABruhhMoment stepped down from the Community - - Lithiro stepped down from Community - - Zacho stepped down from Community - Monthly Application Data This month we saw 396 new applications to LOTC. This is a decrease by 18 applications from last month. As we get some of the nation videos and some botany feature videos up perhaps it will help the numbers rise! Our overall acceptance rate was 70%, including both pending-accepted and accepted. Increase of 5.8%! 69% of accepted players were from an American timezone (About a 6.15% increase from last month) 26.8% were European (2.2% decrease from last month) And finally, 7% were Oceanic, an increase of about 0.4% Now, onto some finer details about our applications this month The largest applied race was humans, topping over 51.8% of all apps (An decrease of 5.3% from last month). Elves followed behind with 33.5% (Increased by about 5.9%). Dwarves came next with 8.2% (Increase of around 2%) 4.4% orcs (Increase of 2.6%) and 4.1% Halflings (Decrease of 0.6%) Monthly Team Data This month the team’s main focus was on project work and in-game participation. The quota for normal members of the team is 6%. The members can reach this goal by completing applications, logging their focus group work, and assisting new players in game through guidance work and player interventions. The quota for Content Creators (depicted by the camera) is 3%, while the other half of their activity is gauged on the work they do creating content. (Art & Filming etc) Keep in mind that Managers (depicted by the sun) and those who have gone on an extended hiatus of 2 weeks are exempt from meeting quota. Those who are under quota in orange are no longer members of the team. This month all members of the team have fulfilled quota! (Green = quota met, Blue = Wait 30mins before taking work to allow other members quota, yellow= under quota, orange = way under quota.) I’d like to congratulate @Thomas for making overall King of Quota for June! The Application King is @MeteorDragon The Guidance Queen is @Tigergiri (most time guiding and handling interventions) Projects of June: Application Rework: As of the end of this month, the Application Rework Project has finally been approved. As it stands, the next phase of the project is specifically targeted to focus on establishing the training regime for the new application review system, and setting up a more cohesive guide for new players when applying. Atop this, a guide for the Community Team must be written so that each member of the team is able to consistently review the new applications once the project has been completed. Community Events: One of our recurring projects, the Community Event Project has seen a lot of effort shed into it this month from our Team. The Battle of the Arts contest is drawing to a close, and prizes are looking to be sent out to the winners shortly once the submissions have been judged. Additionally, the July Battle of the Arts is posted and looking for suggestions for the upcoming theme. Coming up, the Community Team will be setting to flesh out some more monthly contests, one of which specialising on building to allow the architects out there some room to shine. https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/183445-july-battle-of-the-arts-suggestions/ Pots and Pandits: As it currently stands, Pots and Pandits is undergoing an internal rework after the appreciated feedback of both staff and players. The Community Management is in talks with Administration to expand the breadth of the project so that other teams and helpers may be taken on to help further project expansion and development. The Pots and Pandits, for those who have had the pleasure of experiencing the project first hand, has been a roaring success in the infancy stage of the project. We are pleased to expand upon this focus group further and see it flourish. More to come. https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/183145-the-pots-n%E2%80%99-pandits-project/ Botany: Following a brief silence on the matter, the Botany Project is once again in full swing- Having now finally established the specifics of the project on the side of the Community Team, our Content Creators are now able to fully begin working on both the Art and Video. Front Page Update: After intense discussion, the Front Page Project has shifted gears as of late and has now been thrust from its previous position as an internal Moderation project to a joint project among the whole team. It was felt that the Front Page requires opinions and resources from different aspects of the Staff as a whole, and as such specific members of the Community Team have joined forces with Moderation to tackle the project from two sides. With Moderation steering in the way of policies and management, and the Community team working to provide integral feedback and resourcing, the project will be a worthwhile step in the right direction. Wiki: For those unaware, the Wiki Project has been shifted from the Story Team over and into the hands of the Community Team this month. This project has been shifted over to the CT on the basis that this distinct part of the staff utilise the Wiki more often than any other team when referencing and guiding new players. We plan on updating the content and allowing the Wiki to be a more useful resource for players new and old. As it stands, the move is not yet complete and we are in the works of defining the next phases of the project. Special Thank You! Thank you to @Lukariatias and @MamaBearJade for being such wonderful managers. They do so much work behind the scenes organizing, documenting, and coordinating things for myself and the team. @Pun for always being around to give a helping hand when I need it! @Thomasfor helping me write! Thank you and see you next month!

  20. The Month of May Hello Everyone! It’s been quite an eventful month, full of both adventures and controversies. Wars, a hot-topic of flaw-corrections, fine-tunings, and adjustments, has steered our attention this month. In addition, our beloved technical staff pumped out a fully redesigned chat, friends, and tab system. We have released a comprehensive guide as well as informational posts about these changes, the links to which are found later in this newsletter. As we get fully into summer , we hope to release some fun community events and contests for you all to enjoy. So, keep and eye out for all of that fun stuff. Also, you may notice that the title of this post matches the title of the previous newsletter. I have decided to adjust the title so it reflects the month the newsletter pertains to. Now let’s get into it! Notable News The latest and greatest on Lord of the Craft. Felt Cute In This Idk Might Delete Later In response to growing awareness and concerns surrounding server optimization, the Tech team released an update centered around discussing TPS issues due to heightened player counts and the ongoing war. Some of their changes includes granular movement, an optimized chat, and other minute updates and changes. In addition to this, the Techs discussed 1.14 issues and concerns in potentially updating, stating that they would be able to update with greater ease than the update to 1.13. Finally, a quick clarification was released concerning the use of the /treq commend, explicitly stating that if the issue couldn’t be summed up in a sentence or two, that players should be posting a Bug report on the forums. Voting Plugin Information Following the recognition of a bug in which voting wasn’t properly rewarding players, the new Coder Textarea released an update about quick fixes to the milestone and voting issue. Firstly, a system to refresh the timer on milestones was implemented, allowing for the use of /vote ms refresh to set the expiry time to twelve (12) hours. Secondly, a command to check the time until your milestones expire was added, allowing for the use of /vote list. And finally, a reminder was written about the now implemented chat changes, reminding users to be typing ‘#’ and not ‘/’ for chat commands. A Follow Up Released as an addition to a previous statement, this post from Fireheart discusses issues raised concerning the first warclaim of the currently ongoing war. The spawn killing, hacking, and alting issues were clarified and recognized. As such, the decision to re-do the warclaim was undone, and the defender’s victory stands. Creative Cafe Wednesdays Creative Cafe went really well and it was an enjoyable evening hearing, reading, and seeing so many members creative talents. From singing, to art, to someone trying to hit a bong for 30 seconds and fail - it was an exciting time. I would like to congratulate the winners of the evening and share some of the art that was shown! Award for Vocals/Instrument: @Demotheus Award for Art: @Nameless Award for Writing: @ibraheemc2000 Community Meeting I will be updating how community meetings will go moving forward. I will be posting a thread soon to allow people to ask questions as they come up throughout the month. I would like to have these meetings at the beginning of each month. Therefore, an announcement will be posted once a date has been decided upon where all speakers can attend. Rescue Raid Update Due to recent events and issues regarding rescue raids, there have been some updates to the rule set. Please ensure to read over the rules thoroughly! Team Updates The freshest scoop from the Admins themselves—learn all you can about your favorite teams. Development Staff The Development Staff are currently in the process of finalizing the structure and organization of their team, and will soon be receiving a new Administrator. The Technicians have continued to work on further optimizing the server, and the builders and designers have been making progress updating areas of the map that were left somewhat underdeveloped post launch. In addition, one of the coders, Wrynn, has been working on a botany plugin which he has been showcasing recently that is soon to come. Check it out! https://youtu.be/uanIi9YZ7-o Moderation Staff The Moderation Staff this month have been working on making adjustments to the war rules and rescue rules. We will be pushing out more updates over the next month for a number of changes including updated ban protocol. Overall this past month has been extremely busy for the team with well over 4000 tickets. In wake of summer coming in Moderation has brought on two new managers, Potts24 and Ioannis. Currently the moderation team is looking for more people to join the team, if you are interested please apply. Moderation Staff Update Log- May Community Staff The Community Staff have been primarily focusing inwardly on policy tweaks, structure modifications, and overall improvements to our projects and app handling procedures. On the topic of application, we are in the final stages of fleshing out the new application rework, that which was put out in the Community Staff’s most recent Your View, that should be getting implemented in the coming week(s). CT Update Log - May 2019 Story Staff The Story Staff are seeking more Story Actors (Event Staff) as was released in ScreamingDingo’s recent news update. In addition to this the Teaching Application system is undergoing minor tweaks due to concerns with its length, as the Lore Sect seeks to reach a healthy balance between being detailed and overdoing it. The Wiki sect and Community Staff managers/content creators are working together on the Wiki Overhaul, which seeks to usher the entire wiki into a totally updated state so that it can once again become a reliable and aesthetically appealing source. Dingo Takes The Throne (ST-ACTORS NEEDED) Trendy Feedback Our crack team of gobos compiles, analyses, and critiques our feedback forums for the top-echelon of community suggestions. We’ve picked out some of the most unique, noteworthy, and civil articles from this month. War is **** lol A serious, despite the suggestive title, post that elaborated on ScreamingDingo’s opinions concerning player culture and behaviour around war and war-related activities. He highlights the OOC divisions created between players and player groups due to war, noting the lack of cooperation between nations, OOC conflict in the form of hatred, ddosing, and metagaming, as well as the great desire to wipe out an entire player base through war, instead of something less terminal. Creating a cooperative and mutually enjoyable experience is a key to breaking out of this negative mindset, however achieving something like this is never easy. Doing Away with “Kill Posts” Spawned from the current major war, Oren v. Renatus, a large number of “kill posts” have started to spring up following the in-game murder of a particular character, or group of characters. Hunwald’s concerns in discussing this issue center around it essentially forcing people to PK, or rather providing a great push for them to do so, when they retain the right not to. It is, as Hunwald writes, “. . . a weapon to shame player who did not PK; there is almost no greater purpose served by such a post.” The Player Province Community Spotlight Bright, committed, and talented people fill our community. With the community spotlight, we highlight one individual that stands out this month. This player engages the laid-back attitude, charitable spirit, and proactive nature hailed in our community guidelines. For this reason, we congratulate them for their hard-earned achievements! emmanataliya A relatively new player to the server who has jumped head-first into interacting with our community on an IC and an OOC level. They currently play a High Elf character who lives and works in Haelun’or, the capital and nation of the High Elves, as a member of the Silver Council who organizes events in the city. Interview Hello emmanataliya, the Administration overhears much about your attitude and accomplishments. We would like to highlight you in this month’s community spotlight! So considering how new you are, relative to how long LotC has been around, what kind of experiences have you had during your time getting heavily involved in High Elven roleplay and politics? Would you recommend getting heavily involved to other new players, and if so, why? It has been really fun so far. I knew the idea of what I wanted to do for my character and I spent the first week getting to know the rp style of the high elves and server by testing out everything possible from a bit of villiany rp to watching medic rp. I would recommend getting heavily involved to anyone who at least knows a little bit of how to roleplay, at the end of the day if something happens to your character you know what to expect in the future so it is definitely a learning experience, just make sure you do not get attached to your character. On the point of character attachment, do you self-impose a PK system? In the sense that if your character dies in roleplay, you permanently kill them? If this is the case, why do you believe it's important to PK, and would you recommend other players, new and old, follow that philosophy? It depends on the situation for me. I am not going to PK my main character unless Haelun'or gets taken over or she gets kicked out of Haelun'or since Monk Resurrections are apart of lore it should be utilized if you want your character to last a long time. On my other personas I will PK since I made those personas to do more outlandish villainy rp. I think everyone should eventually PK their character eventually though and have some sort of PK clause. ? Harkening back to your roleplay as a Council Member in Haelun'or, what do you enjoy most about running events in the city, for the nation and visiting characters? Do you find it to be a fulfilling experience? I just like bringing people together irp and ooc, it generates roleplay for people to want to come back to the city if they enjoy the events. For instance, I turned the infamous acid pit of Haelun'or into a dance floor for Dimaethor, the nation leaders, 400th birthday. I like to get creative with making the roleplay so it is definitely fulfilling. Outstanding Volunteer Award We present this accolade to an exceptional staff member. 21. COMMUNITY TEAM MONTHLY UPDATE LOG- May 2019 Introduction Hello Again Everyone! I am back for another monthly update on the Community Team May was a slower month as everyone as finals season came around for many people including myself. However, we been making some updates and changes to our team structure which will hopefully aid in getting our projects out in a more efficient manner. In this update I’ll go into some of this months app statistics, our team stats, as well as some info about projects that have been going on. If you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know what the community team is, you can read more info about the Community Team’s policies [Here] Community Team Roster Monthly Application Data This month we saw 413 new applications to LOTC. This is a decrease by 29 applications from last month. However as summer starts to get in full swing we expect to see this numbers begin to rise once more.. Our overall acceptance rate was 64.2%, including both pending-accepted and accepted 62.9% of accepted players were from an American timezone (About a 4.5% increase from last month) 29% were European (6% increase from last month) And finally, 6.6% were Oceanic, an increase of about 3.3% Now, onto some finer details about our applications this month Not too much has changed. The largest applied race was again the humans with 56.7% of all apps (An increase of .7% from last month). Elves followed behind with 27.6% (Decrease by about 4.6%). Dwarves came next with 6.2% (Decrease of around 0.7%) 4.4% orcs (Increase of 2.6%) and 4.7% Halflings (Increase of about 4.61%!!). Massive increase for the halflings! ? Monthly Team Data This month was focused on getting our focus grouping set up and working to help get projects moving. Marb121, Laurelin, & Aquaquean have been amazing, taking on large amounts of applications this month. Puffables and LotsOfMuffins have also been really amazing with participating in-game and in the new player discord assisting the community. Massive thanks for all of the hard work they have put in this month. With that being said, going into next month we plan on making some changes to spread out the amount of apps handled between the team members so there is more time for others to assist with projects for the community and to be an active help to players in game! Please keep in mind that some members may have not made quota due to hiatus’, departure from the team, being added to the team later in the month, or are a lovely Community Content Creator and therefore not required to. (Jenny_Bobbs, z3mos, TheIchorDruid & Reko) I’d also like to welcome our newest team members- 4rza, Doom321, Evonpire, & MeteorDragon ! This Month we have a Quota King! I’d like to congratulate @marb121 for making King of Quota for May! Followed closely by @Aqua_ and @Lirinya Marb has been an amazing help taking on apps especially in the times where there is a heavy influx! It’s a hard balance to achieve making the application require some effort while also not making it too long or strenuous. In order to achieve our goals, we’ve had to also look at our expectations and standards we wish applicants to meet. Going forward we will be rewriting all of the guides to coincide with these new changes and will be retraining the team before the application’s implementation. Community Events: Community events are a big focus for us currently and is something we really want to get on the ground and running in the upcoming month. Even if we have to start small and progress as we go. We believe it is very important to get the community together more often and do some lighthearted and fun events. In addition, we plan to host more contests over the forums for things such as art and writing to show off the many talents the community has. Pots and Pandits: We have just finished the team’s guide for Pots and Pandits and we have started training the members on the process. Hopefully in the upcoming month we training completely finished and start performing these little events to help members understand the rules around combat roleplay! Guides: We have been working on updating the new player guide to reflect the changes to the chat system. In addition, to add information about obtaining materials, shop creation, and the bank system. Front Page Update: We have also decided to take on the project of updating the front page with our content creators. We plan on having a meeting soon to formulate some ideas and get started. We may open the stage up to the community to hear their ideas on what should be included on the front page. This project is something we don’t want to rush because we rather put out something that people really like and enjoy. Wiki: This month managers and content creators have been getting together with members of the story team to assist with the wiki overhaul. We plan to make the wiki more user friendly which will benefit the community as a whole. Our content creators plan on making custom art to help bring more life and personality to the wiki! Special Thank You! Sporadic for helping and answer fixing issues in a timely manner. I’ve been bugging him a lot this month Aquaquean for helping put together the Chat System Guide in such a short notice LotsOfMuffins for actively keeping up and assisting players in the NPD Puffables for all her hardwork assisting players in game through out the month and most recently during the chat system change. Thank you and see you all next month!
