The map is something we're considering getting done, @Magicpastry mentioned he could do something that like for us.

Monthly GM Log Introduction Greetings everyone. As was quite evident to begin with, we did not post up a Monthly GM Log for February. This was due to a very strenuous month and by the time it had come around to remembering the log, the time had passed. However, we’re back again and will simply jump right into it. This month has been difficult too, though the amount of internal changes which have occurred are really bringing the GM Team forward leaps and bounds. Trials Once again, the first order of business is the announcement of our new Trial GMs! Selected for their desire to drive the team forward and engage with the playerbase, the Trials this Month are as follows! To give a run down. Here is how the trial selection process works: The GM Managers convene and look over each of the applications and create a short-list of applicants to interview. The GM Managers and Lead take the short-listed applicants into an interview room in Skype or Discord and ask questions pertaining to who they are, the position, what they plan on doing if they get the position, etc. After the interviews have concluded the GM Managers convene once again and make their picks from the batch, proposing them to the Lead. If the Lead approves of the picks then they’re proposed to the team for feedback. If the picks are generally accepted by the GM team they’re contacted and inserted into the Trial process. Resignations/Removals As with most months, we must unfortunately say farewell to some members of our Game Moderation Team. While we bid farewell, we are thankful for their tenure on our team, and are grateful for the work they provided to the server. Sir_Niccum: While Niccum was doing a good job on the GM team a breach of staff protocol made him subject for removal. He took it extremely well and the GM Management wishes the best for his future as well. GusanoArentonio: Gus was doing alright on the first half of his trial and then he became an admin. Nekkore: Nekkore’s trial was somewhat lackluster with issues in activity due to real life commitments and unfortunately we had to fail his trial. We wish him all the best in whatever he pursues in the future. Beast720: Upon promotion to Admin, Beast found that he wouldn’t have the time to devote to both the GM team and the Administration and opted to step down from his position on the GM team. Modreq Data Following the data from every month, we gather and collect the count from Modreqs that have been done over the span of the monthly cycle. We compile it in a google spreadsheet and publicize it here for all to see. This month we had a total of 2286 Modreqs. With our quota set at 3%, the total number of modreqs a GM would require to reach quota this month would have been 70 with a margin of error being 68-72. Last month we had around 3787 Modreqs, giving us a little over 1500 less this month. Projects Although projects are not a necessary working point for the GMs, we’re constantly looking at ways to benefit our server and overhaul certain parts of our server for the betterment of the playerbase. We have a lot of projects currently ongoing. Game Team Overhaul Project headed by Thomas includes a complete reworking of all internal systems and way the team itself operates. Likely seen already with the way Ban Appeals and Reports are working through the consensus of the Team collective, and of course the integration with Discord, Thomas and the Managers are working to change each individual facet of the team and rework it into something more useful. Trailers & Video Guides Picked up and run by JVQ, this project is set to providing the most premium and quality trailers and Video Guides to help advertise and increase player retention. While alone in this project, we’ve already seen some promising things and we can’t wait to share them with you guys. LotC Economy Without Harold at it’s head, the Economy has been a long forgotten part of the server and, most definitely, an important one. With the collaborative work of Harold, 501 and a few others, the Economy has finally reached a stable field where we are able to monitor the money in the system, and determine the prices of the prices of purchases accordingly. New Player Events Created by Vaynth, the New Player Events project was created to engage the new players in a fun, interactive environment wherein players are able to acquire mina and begin their experience on the server. In collaboration with various other teams, this project was created to improve player retention. Tile Cleanup and Ownership For a long time now the Tiles and their Ownerships has been long in question, and has been a messy affair for any GM trying to come to terms with it. Fortunately, Harold sat down and over the course of a week managed to fix up, document and clean up the Tiles for us to view and make reference of when doing our day to day work. GM Guide Update The GM Handbook has been sorely neglected for a couple of seasons now, and due to this many new commands, and even forgotten ones, have been left out and simply left without documentation. Magicpastry has sought to rectify this, and has been working with various other GMs in order to comprise a well rounded guide to commands, and the handling of situations. Axios Warp Cleanup Roughly a week ago, we had almost 1000 warps on LotC. Today, we have just under 400. After spending several weeks combing through every warp and documenting each one with a valid teleportation point onto a spreadsheet for any staff team to make use of, the Warp Cleanup served to simply aid in keeping things clear and concise. Alongside this, Harold went around to each and every tile to establish a warp there to allow us to do our jobs just that little bit easier. Tutorial Island Worked on by our good pals Angmarzku, SexeHexe, and GusanoArentonio, the Tutorial Island is much like it says on the tin; An island to provide players new and old with an interactive tutorial to teach and guide people into the experience of Lord of the Craft. Due to us being as we are with unique plugins and operations, it’s important to ensure players have a seamless experience. Primary Region Ownership Documentation Similar to the Tile Cleanup, the Primary Region Ownership documentation has been long awaited. For a good amount of time now, figuring out just who owns what has been a bother, however thanks to this project by Cablam, and a nifty piece of code from our Dev Team, understanding just who owns what has never been easier. Current Member List: Lead: Tahmas Managers: HB Harold Cablam LadyRebecca Members: Josh3738 Angmarzku Vaynth Malinor MagicPastry AssassinofAwsome Trials: Tsuyose ShadowedOblivion Moosehunter123 SexeHexe Kipples As always, we urge you to ask questions should you have any. If you have any concerns regarding the server, the GM team or anything else, please feel free to contact a member of the GM Team and will do our best to help. GM Applications The application format can be found here: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/156193-game-team-readme/ A word from Thomas And finally, I’d like to make a very small announcement. For the next month, I will be stepping back and taking a break. After speaking to a good load of friends, I realized that I haven’t taken time for myself or those around me, and I’ve been so preoccupied with work for the past year now, and other than last Saturday I frankly cannot remember the last time I took a day off. It’s been on my mind for a good month now, and even my Team has pushed me to just have a day off and relax; It’s about time I did that. To clarify: I’m not resigning, I’m not disappearing. I have a deep seated love for this server and I have too many ideas, plans and projects in the works to even consider doing something so silly. I’m simply stepping back from the work I’m doing to take a bit of a rest. There comes a time when so much work gets you a bit stressed out and a good break will do some good. In my absence, Cablam will be mostly working as the temporary figure of note. Rebecca has been promoted to GM Manager under the recommendation from Harold and Cablam, and thing should continue as normal. This fundamentally changes nothing for you guys as a player base, and it’s only temporary. I’ll be back this time next month with a reinvigorated energy and drive. I’m looking forward to it, and I hope everyone has a good month. With that said, I hope you all have a wonderful month. -Cablam

We still are however we're also looking to mix some new blood in as we go. Well isn't that just a shame.
-
Denied. Also don't respond with feels bad man. Of course! You aren't restricted between either staff team if you get one or the other, you just need to make sure that you can balance the workload should you get both positions.
-
Faiz please, you already do that on the ET Zhulik please don't sell me out like that man Probably tbh

Well the first step is to take a golf club and drop it from 4 feet off the ground onto a nice fluffy pillow. Alternatively you can submit your app here: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/forum/29-game-team/ This much

GMs wanted! Submit those applications! That's all there really is to it. We are looking to take some more GMs on so write those apps to the best of your ability! We'll be accepting applications at the beginning of April so there isn't a whole lot of time. Happy writing! I like this gif too much

Nations The definition of a nation is a group of active players who own a tile and have an accepted nation application. The full benefits of a nation are as follows: Access to a green soulstone pillar The ability to create fast travels to their sub-regions Ownership of their nation capital’s tile Ability to purchase additional tiles A subforum dedicated to their nation In order to become a fully recognized nation a group of players must go through a nation charter application. This process involves becoming an aspiring nation by creating and submitting the application, passing an activity trial and paying the pre requisite fee of tile purchasing. The benefits a group of players receives upon having their nation application placed on pending are: A green soulstone pillar A subforum for their aspiring nation Entry into the activity trial Failure to pass the activity trial will see these benefits revoked. If you fail your activity trial you will have to wait a month to reapply. You must wait at least a week after your land charter application is accepted in order to make a nation application. Aspiring Nation Application 1. What is the name of your nation / group? What kind of culture do they have? How long have they existed (in real-life time)? 2. What land do you currently own? List all regions. 3. What will your capital region be? Please list the Worldguard region name as well as the RP name of the settlement. 3. Please link accepted land charter applications below. 4. What are your goals for nation status? This can be anything - remember, this is a hidden sub-forum. Your intentions and goals will not be publicly known. 5. Approximately how many members are in your group? How many of them are actively playing? Be honest! If I were to visit your capital city on any given day and at any given time, how many people could I expect to see? How about during peak hours? And what about during the "dead" hours? 6. Who will be leading your nation as nation lead / king / etc.? Please list both MC and RP names. Activity Trial The activity trial occurs over the course of one month in which the capital of the aspiring nation is checked regularly for activity which is compared to the number of players online at the time of the check. Additionally, activity on the granted subforum will contribute to the progress of the activity trial however it is not mandatory. At the end of the one month period the activity of the nation will be evaluated by the GM Charter Team and the Administration. Should the aspiring nation fail their first month of activity trial they will be notified of such and receive one additional month to boost their activity. If they fail the second activity trial their aspiring nation charter will be denied. If the aspiring nation passes their activity check they will be notified on their nation application and will have one week to pay the required fee (detailed below) or their application will be denied. Nation Fee The fee for a tile is 40,000 mina which the aspiring nation will have to pay upon passing of their activity trial. However, if the capital of the region was purchased through the independent charter applications the cost of that region will be deducted from the tile cost. For example, if the aspiring nation has a 150x150 region purchased through the independent charter applications they will have to pay 40,000 - 30,000 mina, meaning a total of 10,000 mina. Note, price deduction does not apply to regions created outside of the independent charter application. Purchasing Additional Tiles To purchase additional tiles a nation will have to pay the full 40,000 mina price and go through a tile purchasing application which will serve to act as both documentation and to prevent a mass influx of owned tiles. To purchase a tile you must have one adjacent to the tile you wish to purchase. The application format can be found here: Creating Subregions Subregions can be created on any tile owned by the nation and do not cost anything. To create a region, modreq in game with written evidence of the nation leader’s approval to have the region setup in their tile at that specific location. Note, the region’s location must be explicitly approved by the nation leader and must fall entirely within a tile owned by the nation. Failure to provide the required evidence will result in your modreq being closed and you having to create a new modreq once you have acquired proper approval.

Please Read - Evictions and PRO Rule Clarifications
cablam replied to cablam's topic in News & Announcements Archive
Ideally every region should have a PRO even if they go to the GM team and say they're only listed as that to make decisions for the region oocly with haste. Special arangments can be made to remove this PRO's control over the region. As for the dwarf council, that is an RP power they have and it does not force the King to abdicate oocly. In game signs are required in many situations as for large regions it is a pain to keep track of skype accounts for everyone in your region and an even bigger pain to then go through that medium to notify them. As for the location the sign must be placed in an area relevant to the person. For example, when evicting a home owner you must place the sign outside the house in a visible location. It is up to the GM in question to ensure the sign is in a good location. This is just impractical for a number of cases due to it being extremely difficult to track someone down oocly. If you coup someone then that is an entirely different situation entirely and they will be removed from the region immediately. As for warning two week tax evaders, activity check signs serve as eviction notice as well. What Haelun'or has taken to doing is placing regular activity checks which will also serve as an eviction notice should it not be removed. The reason this isn't place currently is that we wanted to avoid any gray areas or arbitrary dates. I'll bring it up amongst the GM team and see what they think though. Also to clarify, these rules were put in place to address issues that were run into in the past with regions. For example, prior to this rule a region owner could walk into their region at 1 in the morning, unlock the entire region and make away with all the goodies before anyone even wakes up. As for the PRO rules, they were put in place to avoid a situation similar to Metz occuring again. These rules have been in place for a few months already, this post serves to clarify and notify people of these rules. -
Notice of Evictions and Removals There seems to be some confusion surrounding the rules of providing notice to players prior to evictions and so this section will serve as a clarification to said rules. 1. If a region owner wants to evict an owner from their region, they must be given a minimum of 3 IRL days notice to move any items or possessions by the owner. Suitable means of notice are as follows: In game signs. Permanent messages (Skype, Discord etc). The first rule states that should a Primary Region Owner wish to remove a Region Owner from their region they must provide them with a minimum of 3 IRL days to relocate their possessions. This notice can be in the form of in game signs that are in easily visible areas relating to the player in question or PMs that cannot be removed or have their contents/time sent altered. When making a modreq to have this done ensure that you have the adequate proof on hand. 2. If a region owner wants to evict a member from their region, they must be given a minimum of 3 IRL days notice to move any items or possessions by the owner. This does not count if the character in question is a known criminal, or otherwise enemy to the region. Suitable means of notice are as follows: In game signs. Permanent messages (Skype, Discord etc). This rule states that should there be an area that is occupied within a region by a player and a region owner looks to remove the locks on the area they must provide a minimum of 3 IRL days notice to have the locks removed and any items taken. This notice can be in the form of in game signs that are easily visible to the player in questions or PMs that cannot be removed or edited. When making a modreq be sure to have proof handy! 3. If a parent region owner wants to remove a region owner from their sub-region, they must be given a minimum of 7 IRL days notice to move any items or possessions by the owner. During this time, the region may declare itself in open rebellion and must be warclaimed. Suitable means of notice are as follows: In game signs. Permanent messages (Skype, Discord etc). This rule states that should a Parent Region, i.e Oren, wish to remove a Primary Region Owner of one of the Sub-Regions, i.e a Duchy, they must provide the Primary Region Owner with a minimum of 7 IRL days notice. Over the course of these 7 days the Primary Region Owner has the option to relocate their possessions and relinquish the keep to the Parent Region Owner or to declare rebellion, something they can do at any point throughout the 7 day period, and must be warclaimed. This notice can be in the form of in game signs that are easily visible to the player in questions or PMs that cannot be removed or edited. When making a modreq ensure that either the Primary Region Owner of the Parent Region or a Region Owner of the Parent Region with proof of approval from the Primary Region Owner must be provided in addition to the notice to the player. Primary Region Owner Clarifications Every region has a Primary Region Owner, or PRO, that is the RP leader of the region. The PRO is not the nation leader on every region underneath a nation due to their character not living in and owning every vassal/sub-region under them. Nation leaders can be PRO of: All tiles their nation owns The nation's capital Any regions their character lives within and owns Outside of these regions the PRO is to be the RP owner of the region. For example: GM nation owns tiles D1 and D2, has the capital of GM island and the sub-regions of Team Harold, Team Harrison and Team Cablam. The PROs of the regions are as follows: D1 and D2 - Tahmas GM Island - Tahmas Team Harold - Demographic Team Harrison - iHB_ Team Cablam - Cablam

Jarledom of Mjol Nation Application
cablam replied to Hoster102's topic in Atlas Sub-forums (To be sorted)
Hey there! The charter team has taken a look at your application and has decided that we will give you fledgling nation status! What this means is that you will receive a green soulstone pillar, the ability to create fast travels and you will be put under an activity check for the next two months. If you pass the activity check you will be charged a fee of 40,000 mina, with the cost of your charter deducted from it, which you will have a week after the activity check has ended to pay it or you will fail the nation trial. If throughout your activity check you show consistently good activity then we will present the offer to you to end the activity check early and get you on your feet. Contact LadyRebecca, Magicpastry, Malinor, Angmarzku, Demographic or myself in game to get your green soulstone pillar setup. If you have any questions feel free to ask below! -
Guilds, villages, settlements, etc. can all apply for land by filling out the below application and having the required minas, men, and time active (if applicable). If you're curious as to what tiles/regions are available, you can see the most up-to-date region and tile ownership here (coming soon!) As a guild, you will not own the tile. To own a tile, you must be a Nation. Guilds plots come in three different sizes, the bigger the plot, the bigger the price. If you buy a 70x70, it will only cost 10,000 more to go up to the next tier. The three sizes and prices are as follows: 70 x 70: It costs 10,000 minas and does not require anything else besides an active player group. You also get a farm/dock plot nearby or a combination of the two equal to or smaller than the main plot size. On a farm plot, the only thing you may build are stables and food field and a dock plot can only have ship building or boat storage. 100 x 100: It costs 20,000 minas total and does not require anything else besides an active player group. 150 x 150: It costs 30,000 minas and does not require anything else besides an active player group. Your Plot and Nations: You may have your plot placed in any land that is unclaimed or any currently owned tile permitting you have the permission of the tile’s Primary Region Owner. Note: Going through this system does not give the PRO of the tile ownership of the region but the one that made the charter instead. If a nation moves into the tile you are currently located in you are not forced to leave. You will be given the option to either: A) Relocate your plot elsewhere for free, or B) Remain in your tile and still act independently from the nation owning the tile you’re in. Below you will find the charter application. Simply post a new thread in the charter sub-forum with the completed information and you will either be accepted or denied within a day or two. What is the name of your guild, village, organization, etc.: What is the purpose of your guild/village/organization (if sensitive, this can be withheld and then privately shared with whomever is handling the charter): What plot size are you interested in: What tile are you interested in: If your tile is currently owned by a nation, do you have that nation's leader's approval: Signatures (players should sign their persona/character name and their MC name): Limited Creative info: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/166965-automatic-limited-creative/ Specific blocks and materials banned via the in-game blacklist: Shulker Boxes Workbenches (enchanting table, crafting table, brewing stand, etc.) End Materials Nether Materials Minecarts Chorus plant/fruit Dragon Egg Prismarine, Glowstone, Magma, TNT, Obsidian, Lava. Lava will be placed at admin/gm discretion- this is to prevent lava moats and the like.) All ore / ingot blocks (sans redstone blocks.) This list is subject to change at any time. Materials were banned with the mindset of wanting to keep SOME material rare and desirable. This is, also, subject to change with any large economic update.

A Halfling steps up to one of the posters and pins a note written in sloppy handwriting below it reading: "This guy knows a lot about how to trip on his own feet. Would recommend. Somewhat. Eh."
-
Why did you double post? I thought FMs knew better..
-
This charter application has been denied.
-
What Jandy said is correct. In addition to this though, you can go through a nation to get land within their bounds. This often involves asking the nation leader for a plot of land, however they are not obligated to say yes. Alternatively you can look to go on the smaller side and get a house in a city. Getting a house varies from place to place but most of the time there is a designated person you need to go to in order to purchase/lease one. If you have any questions in regards to the charter system do not hesitate to send me a PM on the forums or in game!
-
Ah fair enough. What I'm looking for with this post if people to post what they own and their locations, the locations being a secondary thing to the actual ownership. By owning a tile I mean more owning the actual tile through a nation application rather than inhabiting it.
-
I'll clarify now that Alras does not own their tile as they're not a nation. Charter applications do not give ownership to the tile, only nation applications do.
-
I'll handle this one.
-
I'm trying to help you guys out right now so can you at least put in the effort to help me? Someone is going to have to go through each individual subregion and document it so why put the majority of that burden on one person instead of spreading it out? Not to mention that the PRO is the RP owner of the region, meaning that unless your character RPly owns each of those settlements (regardless of if you purchased it or not) then you will not be added as the PRO. For example, if a human nation has a duchy the duke is the RP owner of it and therefore is the PRO rather than the king of the human nation. Therefore, I request that the RP owners of each of those individual subregions post here and document that they own the region.
-
Please specify further with the exact names of all the regions.
-

This was not what I told you to do at all and don't take my quote out of context. I told you to go to the managerial team if you really had qualms with the ban. Taking to the forums like this accomplishes absolutely nothing. Also as a side note, you should be using a sans serif font for legal documents. This includes, but is not limited to, Times New Roman and Calibri fonts. If you wish for this document to be recognized in the court of law I encourage you to make the suggested changes post haste.
