The Levy of Argyll During the Ducal War between Oren and Adrian rebels, the small levy was led by a Captain of the name Callum Argyll. As he remained impartial during the clashing of the two sides, his devotion was doubted, and the grizzled warrior soon met his demise, caused by old age and a harsh winter. His eldest son, Duncan Argyll, now controlled his father’s small retinue, alongside a few of his kinsmen, and actively seeks out more men to join his small infantry. Duncan marched to the Principality of Drusco, swearing fealty to the Count of Drusco, Adrian de Bar, and he and his men are garrisoned within the Barony of Nessvelt. Recruitment RANKS CAPTAIN The Captain is the leader of the Argyll levy, and has the last say in all matters, whether petty or crucial. Any man within the small military will heed to the Captain’s word, current one being Duncan Argyll. SERGEANTrr The sergeant’s duty is to oversee training alongside the captain, and to patrol around the lands of Drusco when asked. He is the second in command. MAN-AT-ARMS The backbone of the Argyll levy. They are treated as valued soldiers, and are ushered to be a demonstration of both good discipline and skill in battle to lower ranks. FOOTMAN After the unblooded has been trained accordingly, he is made a footman, and should aspire to become a veteran of the sept. UNBLOODED The lowest of the few ranks, unblooded are the men that have recently joined the levy and it’s cause, and are training to become a footman and further ranks.
