TOS ban = Terms of Service ban. Usually for sex pests.
PCV Ban = What?
CGV Ban = What?
I never saw either of these terms until today, suddenly seeing them a lot.

Quote"TOS is terms of service bans (pedo)
PCV is player conduct violation (can be lesser offences like doxxing harassment / erp / groomerish but not fully sexual shit)
^ these two are permanent bans with no appeal, difference between TOS and PCV is that you can get in trouble being in contact with TOS players or having them in lotc discord, whereas PCV you can still keep around (???)CGV is community guideline violations and those are 6 months usually" -
TOS banned players are those who engage in predatory behaviour towards minors or threaten unwarranted legal action against the community. Players who are TOSed are often added to the safety server which is a group of communities that share players who were banned for paedophilia. Associating with a TOS banned player or aiding them in anything server-related after their ban is grounds for a ban as well.
PCV is a permanent ban, no appeal. You're gone. This is often for severe harassment, doxxing, grooming, predatory behaviour etc.CGV are community guidelines violations and can be considered as a lesser PCV in many instances, however CGV bans cover a far broader spectrum of offences. These can be admin-appealed after a minimum of six months iirc and are used for severe conduct violations. CGVs last months at minimum but can often go into years as admins are under no obligation to unban them if they're not convinced they won't reoffend.
All of these serve as responses for severe rule violations, yet some are considered worse than others.
