The Celian Arcanic Society The Founding The Celian Arcanic Society was founded on day five of the First Seed, Second Age year 85. Beginning as a wisp and whim of a thought, culminating & brewing within a Celian sorceress' mind was the idea indeed. She sought to create an inner concealed society, one that was already of nicheity within the city, The Arcane. As she lived her days, and days became months and then to years… She saw a lack of formal community within the city to which her matters pertained to; Many of the Magi kept to themselves locked away in their studies attempting to find their next best spell. As Lenniel thought of such she began asking, inquiring to her peers of such ideas and opinions- as she particularly found help within August Athri’onn and Valryis Wynasul- The three combining their minds, mana & thoughts to birth the Arcanic Society. The Purpose Though magic runs wild within the streets & homes of Fi’Andria and The Empire of Celianor in whole, the structure of such magic topics is only formed and shaped by the many laws that are already in place pertaining to the arcane. As many things do need organization, community, & collaboration in order to blossom to their full potential… Learning and practicing the Arcanic Arts is not any different. Though you can certainly become an accomplished mage with only your individual practices, having another perspective and free hand to help is always a boon when it comes to learning topics of any sort. With such information can only be followed by a gain & understanding of the arcane which leads to the furtherment of magic and its users within the Celian Arcanic Society. The Society will strive in attempts to learn more knowledge as a whole, alongside using such knowledge for the betterment of the Celian Empire along with its inhabitants. We aspire to keep learning more information, but at the same time aspire to uphold and follow many traditions that already appear within Arcanic Culture. The Society keeps many of the things we learn a secret, only in access for those who join the Society and help strengthen the Celian Arcanic Community as a whole. This is important because as many know, information can be dangerous within the wrong hands. The Society also views magic as a sacred practice, not to be abused or underappreciated- acting as a perseverance for the already known crafts and information of the arcane. The Importance of the Arcanic Court The Arcanic Court Link Founded by High Magus Valryis Wynasul, the Arcanic Court lays an integral foundation for the Society and coincides with many of the same wishes and wants with it too. Both reside within Fi’Andri as groups that wish to upkeep magic and keep voidal balance within the realm. Most members of the society also reside within the court, as the Arcanic court is something that all members are encouraged to join and some roles even prerequisites presence in. Arcane Congregations Many of the people that reside within the groups will go to meetings set yearly to discuss any arcane news anyone wishes to bring up, alongside also introducing new projects any of the branches are wishing to start. This time is also used to discuss personal events- such as people requiring magi for help- or wishing to advance further in either group. The meetings will be held within the Academy located within Fi’Andria being run and hosted by the Arcane Overseer. Roles of the Society High Magus & Lady Sorceress- These roles are reserved for the leaders of the society itself and for the Arcanic Court. Arcanic Overseer- The person who keeps all clerical files & matters in check. The Overseer would financially, socially & arcanically advise the High Magus & Lady Sorceress on all things that need addressing. Voidal Crafters- These people are within the Arcane Artisan branch within the Court. Many of the people here are creatives, and express themselves within their craft and creations. Here they are trained and taught how to further express themselves and utilize their practices to further reach their creative goals. Voidal Scholars- These people are within the Arcane Scholar branch within the Court. Many of the people here are investigative & studious. Here they will learn the inner workings of the void and help their peers further their studies; the group focusing on shedding light to once unilluminated topics within the arcane fields. Voidal Defenders- These people are within the Arcane Warden branch of the Court. Many of the people here are adventurous and able bodied. Here they will learn how to use their magic along with their own hands & weapons to defend the Society and the Court, hopefully transforming into true Arcane Warriors. Votaries- Magi who have accomplished mastering at least one magic and have devoted themselves to learning further ones. The magi are also thinking about researching into an expression- Acolytes- Magi who are learning their first magic. They’re taught the intricacies and etiquette of the arcane world while also getting a glimpse of what is to come. Rules of the Society -Do not use your magic to cause harm to persons or the natural world around you intentionally. -Do not dabble in the arcane recklessly and endanger people to further your studies. -Ensure you understand the effects of the arcane practices you cast, and what the outcomes are. -Report voidal corruption as soon as possible to the Society or any High Member in it. -Never divulge the plans or information of the Society to someone who isn't in it- unless ordered from by the Celian law. Honestly a very unique and well thought out magic that I think supplements the changes that have happened within the voidal lore regarding some magics being gone. This offers a fresh and new spin on magic that I think can be very pivotal for the magic community and server in it's entirety! Super excited to see where it goes +1

Lair PRO MC Name: DevBug Lair Name: The Berg Proposed Lair Locations (Highlight 3 on the map): I don't have any spot in particular that I’m choosey for, though I do wish for this lair to be placed somewhere in an extremely cold climate & somewhat away from civilizations. Perhaps the to-be world team member(s) in charge of this application and I can converse about this topic more in depth with their extensive knowledge of the maps they curated in order to pick the most suitable spot. Lair Lore (could link to an existing creature or other lore) (1000 words minimum): Lair Build and Infrastructure (photos required): The frost witch base in previous incarnations was always a place for the witches to congregate. It has a room for an altar so the witches can perform sabbaths, alongside offering boarding to the members of the coven too. The Berg has a dining room as well as a nice meat pit for cold food storage obviously. Why can you not accomplish the niche of this lair’s roleplay in an existing settlement or nation? (We expect a substantial answer for this, not just ‘I don’t like them’). As most know, witches aren’t accepted within societies and even hunted down due to their cruel & cannibalistic tendencies which naturally occur within the creature’s state of mind. Witches also are most comfortable within cooler climates, which makes having a lair like this quite important. Having a place for witches to congregate much like this has been a key component within the previous renditions of the lore as well. Many of the witches' spells require an altar to perform, which are hard to place within populated places such as towns and empires due to their passive ability of making the climate within their close vicinity immensely chilly. What does this lair add to the greater world around them?: The Berg would function as a place of practice and safety for newer witches. Giving them free space to hone in on their magical-emoting, as for many of the new wave of witches are fairly new to having magic in general. This also would serve as the Frost Witches place of occupancy to specify further, the witch mothers and daughters would live there, planting their roots into the ground by placing their altar within the interior of The Berg for future sabbaths and rites to be preformed.

Hello! I know this is like super out of the blue, and certainly won’t excuse any of my previous actions on the server, though I have recently been looking back on the things I’ve said and done on the server. The anger and resentment I hold, the hostility and toxicity that I front with is a coping mechanism from my absolute horrific, abusive past. I had to be forcibly removed from living with my mom, and that was nearly three years ago and I’m still dealing with the repercussions and trauma she inflicted on me as a child, and I don’t know if I will ever get over it. At the end of the day I just- Think all of this petty drama and resentment I hold is a beard for the true manifestation of severe mental trauma I’m burdened with. I’m not afraid to say it. I know I'm a little off my kilter. I know I have anger issues and I know it will never really be an excuse for my previous & future actions, though I just can’t handle being angry and bitter towards people anymore. I became hooked and addicted to Lotc because I was living so shittily for nearly my entire life until my dad took me out of that scenario. It was so amazing to be someone different and not have to just deal with my issues in real life. Lotc allowed me to just breathe for a moment & I really found comfort and security in it, just like many of the people reading this probably do. I just hope we can all look back and laugh, do our RP and make Lotc a space where kids and people who are going through the most putrid living conditions like lil angry baby DevDog can get a time to breathe and express themselves. Even if it may seem like I hate you, or you annoy me, I promise I’m just crazy. Please, to the people that I’ve wronged and just said horrible things to, just try to put yourself into someone’s shoes who aren’t the best. I know how everyone on Lotc says it’s a ‘very toxic place’, though I know most of us are VERY bright & so emotionally intelligent, empathetic and really do care for people & their friends on the server. I know we probably just got off on the wrong foot, or the circumstances we met must have been bad. I just want people to know that I’m so, so sorry and I hope we can all be friends.
