Most of us that have joined the server probably have some embarassing stories about the rp they have done while being new to roleplaying in general.(Except the occasional new player with Shakespeare level writing skills). What I want to do Is make a thread dedicated to sharing these embarassing stories(Or confessions :P)to the community! I'll go first: My first character was one of the edgiest chars you could have known: 1.He was named Blade 2.He was a bounty Hunter 3.He had a hood and a facemask 4.He had scars covering his whole body 5.The rp was simply shitty tbh I don't even understand how I got made leader of a small group on the second day.(Needless to say, the group disbanded after two weeks...R.I.P Grey Hunters)

I got a question : It says that to become a transcendent a ritual must be performed on you by the elders,right? So how would a mage become a transcendent without having IC knowledge about it? Would the elders approach expert mages and offer them to become one or would the mage have to find out about their existence (by seeing one, a friend telling how he saw it,etc...) and then have to find more clues of the elder's whereabouts in in order to become a transcendent?

I don't see why the LTs wouldn't implement this. Dwarves were always known in most fantasy universes for being great tinkerers and creating semi-industrial weapons so i think it would be a good idea to add this advantage to dwarves since they can't practise magic and each race usually has race specific advantages too (Orc shamanism, Humans advantage of numbers, Elves long lifespan and wisdom, Kharajyr magic,etc...). +1 Good luck getting this implemented

His father tried his best to take care of him, but on Destrian's sixth birthday, a gang whom his father owed debts were tired of waiting for the payment and killed him,taking Destrian as payment. During his early years with the gang, he was initially used to beg money from the passersby, but eventually the gang taught him how to pickpocket to increase their 'revenue'. One day, Destrian tried to pickpocket a hooded elf .who was visiting the city, and got caught by the elf. It was too good to be true, because when he drank the potion, he blacked out hearing the chemist's malicious laugh. It was the year 1515 when Blade finally woke up in the middle of a clearing and,to his horror, he noticed that his skin had become gray with scars and he could barely see.It was at that moment that something in Blade's mind cracked:his sanity and started laughing at his own fate,which attracted a nearby pack of wolves. As the wolves approached to attack him, Blade noticed with awe that his other senses were so strong as if he could actually "see" them.After getting bitten by one of them and stabbing it with his dagger, he managed to scare them away by making himself as intimidating as he could, which wasn't that hard thanks to his new appearance. (see biography) Biography: (from Blades POV) I don't remember most of my life...Sometimes when i dream i remember the scent of a farm, the metallic taste of blood from the enemy ,the smell of a homemade meal and the glorious feeling of using a bow.. But i will never forget the events that made me into this aberration! I remember my desperation when faced with an incurable disease,the relief when offered a cure by a mage and the shock of finding out that the mage was in fact, a dark mage after drinking it. When i woke up tied in a stone bed, I felt different...I didn't know what it was until the mage started torturing me to see if his experiment was sucessful. I remember the agonizing feeling of my limb being torn out and the shock of seeing it grow back in a minute. After serveral months of torture, i managed to escape by cutting my legs off and crawling off the stone table. Looking back, it probably wasn´t the brightest idead, but my state of mind was pretty bad.I spent half an hour regenerating hidden in a chamber where the mage throws his failed experiments. In that room was a dusty old mirror and when i looked at my reflection i saw a monster (read description) and i entered a state of blind rage...When i calmed down i saw the gruesome sight of the mage that i beat to death with one of my cut limbs. That sight made me realize that it also screwed my mind. But there were still traces of a man still capable of doing good. Since then, I struggled with my morality but never gave up in changing into a better person and,perhaps someday, a hero...A hero with the name "Blade" (formal biography and events that happened after the escape) I hope you liked the "origin story". I took some inspiration from my favorite superhero "deadpool" and i hope you don't mind that since it's also very different.Now,to the important stuff :) You may notice the signs in "age" and "name". It means that "Blade" is the name he chose for himself after the incident and his age is simply a presumption from the doctors since he doesn't know his past before the incident. The story on the server happens six years after the incident: On the first two, an anguished "Blade" desperately seeks a cure and after failing to find one tries to kill himself multiple times,failing everytime. On the third year, Blade comes to terms with his state and merges both sides of his mind: The insane one and the "good " one On the fourth year a hermit teaches him the art of dual wielding in a fight, with Blade quickly becoming skilled in using two katana-like swords The fifth and sixth years Blade is a mercenary and a bounty hunter, quickly becoming well-known(or so would Blade say :P) likes: Mocking "evil" guys, annoying friends, fighting , food, money, kind acts,hurting himself when bored. dislikes:his state,cruelty against innocents,boredom,big hats,sheep,people that mock his condition and those that use their sad story as an excuse to act broody/cold against others. So, basically Blade is a mercenary who tries to be a good guy while not taking things TOO seriously because of his regeneration.
