  1. All this conflict role-play is finally starting to get interesting

  2. Clickbait, I just wanted to share this meme
  3. “It’s better to be above ground doing this, than below ground doing nothing.”

  4. A missive is sent to all Imperial factions and the cloud temple noticeboards. It would read the following: “We’ve captured an noble Curonite child. She is a prisoner of war. Her ransom is 2,500 minas. Pay her ransom and she will be released. If her ransom isn’t paid in one saint’s hour she will be sent to Morsgrad for trial just like Princess Ester.” The letter was signed by Pierre of Lorraine. [!] The ransom was paid and the girl released. [!]

Her ransom is 2,500 minas. Pay her ransom and she will be released. If her ransom isn’t paid in one saint’s hour she will be sent to Morsgrad for trial.” The letter was signed by Pierre of Lorraine. 6. A missive is sent to all Imperial factions and the cloud temple noticeboards. It would read the following: “We’ve captured an Imperial priest who is currently being held in Rubern. His ransom is set to 1,500 mina. If paid the priest will be safely released. If the ransom isn’t met within the saint’s hour the priest will be sent to Morsgrad for trial.” The letter was signed by Pierre of Lorraine. [!] The ransom was paid and the priest released! [!]
  7. A missive is sent to all Imperial factions and the cloud temple noticeboards. It would read the following: “A red haired mercenary woman named Aurira (MC name: MissMoneko) has been captured on Imperial roads. She has strong affiliations with the Orenian Empire and because of such was captured by a patrol of Lothranian knights. The mercenary is now being held in Darrowmere by the Order of the Rabbit as a prisoner of war. Her ransom is set to 800 mina. If paid she will be safely released. If not paid in one saint hour she will be transported to Morsgrad where she will be trialed for treason and likely executed.” The letter was signed by Pierre of Lorraine. The woman’s ransom was paid.
  8. Word spreads through all major cities that the men of Lorraine seek stone, timber, and other building supplies. They promise fair pay for anyone willing to share said provisions. Any who approach the Lothranian barony of Darrowmere would see heartlanders hard at work chiseling boulders, sawing wood and doing other laborious jobs.
  9. I’m curious, what are your thoughts on the current rules surrounding permanent death? I believe they’re too lenient and would prefer if death was respected more

@Rickson Sounds good on paper but then people would start capturing people they don’t like and holding them for a long period of time or executing people for the lulz and such. No, it’ll never work.

ME? I’ve made this suggestion on the forums before I believe. Basically set up consequences for death that aren’t PK, but are “Temporary” PK’s. Depends on what you did and the circumstances around your death, perhaps. Basically force shelf the character when killed in CRP for a period of time. Rarely more than a week, I would say.

Yeah I’d support forced soft-PKs you get executed by the legitimate authorities of a settlement you should be banned from returning there on that character for a few days at least. Proper forced PKs would get messy though.

Honestly I never really thought about it but a soft-PK system sounds like the best option overall. Adds consequence into RP without being too demanding as to take your character after forever.

It would also allow important figures some time to see how much RP is stirred up following the events of their character’s death and then decide if they want to PK for real without feeling too forced, if that makes any sense idk

  10. I think caffeine consumption is good but only when used strategically and infrequently. Consuming caffeine daily and depending on it for enough energy to complete day to day activities in my opinion is bad. What do others think?

Caffeine is a weapon. Not drinking your hourly dose of Red Bull is like taking a knife to a gun fight. Moderation KILLS

Wholly agree with this. Cut down on my own excessive coffee consumption (before which I was a jovial active kid, not relying on caffeine) and in only a week saw my otherwise indolent energy rise to such high orders! Yes, truly. I beckon folks here with caffeine addiction to try it out.

I stopped drinking soda n I quit being toxic. Dangerous lifestyle ?

  11. I agree with most of what Telanir said and like these changes. Encouraging players to report others who break rules is good. These changes will also give moderators more time to allocate towards improving other parts of the server.
  12. “Taxes are negotiable. A grace period is also negotiable. The more active the tavern, the lower the tax. If the tavern is very active, the tax will be heavily discounted.”
  13. A nighttime screenshot of the Nine Wench Inn with the d’Amaury castle in the background. The pious and proud men of Lorraine have recently constructed a roadside inn beside the active road to the Empire’s capital city, Helena. They have decided to auction off the ownership license to the Nine Wench Inn. Not only is the Inn located in an amazing location, it’s also constantly under the protection from the men of Lorraine. Bidding for the tavern is currently at 5,000 minas. The tavern once sold will be taxed every saint week. (Bid with posts below)
  14. Consider adding a rule that makes it so if you’re killed while doing villainy RP you’re no longer allowed to do villainy RP for a set amount of time. An example of this would be three bandits robbing people on the roads. A patrol of guards show up and slay the bandits. Those three players who played the bandits are no longer allowed to do bandit or villain RP for 6 IRL hours. Another suggestion I have is punishing bad villains through blacklists and bans instead of punishing all villains through restrictive rules.
  15. As you walk past the Duchy of Lorraine, a group of Lorranian krug-breeders can be seen rehabilitating a wild krug. They whip him every time he speaks and give him a treat every time he barks or growls. One of the breeders approach you, a large smile on their face. “Welcome, I hope your travels on the road have been trouble free. Would you perhaps be interested in buying yourself a krug-shepherd? Only 600 minas. A fine loyal breed, once their trained of course. Great for guarding your property or even great for the family.”

  17. The Sangmar Mercenary Company *A Sangmar Axeman charging into battle* The Sangmarian bloodline is a relatively new one, founded by Tariq Ibn Ziyad, an excellent military leader who had proved his mettle in various small skirmishes. He set out to rid the world of those who he deemed unfit to live in ‘Allah’s Garden’. With this mission on his mind, he set out to find willing warriors that would fight in the name of Allah, and would not be afraid to lay their lives down for Him. The men he would find would join forth under his banner fighting for his glorious cause, travelling across the northern deserts of Atlas cleansing the sands beneath them with the blood of infidels. With Allah favoring the Sangmarian warband evermore they would begin to travel out of the sands having deemed them cleansed from those who set themselves apart from Allah. Now before them lay the treacherous Wonka woods. Disgusted at the sight of such inhabitants of the forest they deemed it a insult to Allah, a land that plagued his beautiful garden. However it seemed that the God they were ever so faithful to had abandoned them in this cursed land. The furious climate of the Wonkawoods caused Tariq great misfortune, his men dying from the encounters with the wild beasts of the forest and many more of his men succumbing to jungle fever. By the end, his men came to but a fraction of what they once were, all that Tariq worked for he lost before his eyes. He set to building a mighty fort within the woods to protect what men he had managed to keep. On the final days of construction on the fortress he made a vow to his men and to Allah that they would set forth from this day the cleansing of these woods in the name of Allah, as they did with the northern sands, however he would be forced to resort to guerilla tactics due to his loss of manpower, a strategy he once thought foolish and cowardly. And from there begins the journey of Tariq and his band of holy mercenaries, struggling for survival in the deadly terrain and climate of the Wonkawoods in their quest of holy cleansing. “Bows for everyone!!!” - Tariq Ibn Ziyad speaking to his men after a successful siege at Seaclaw against the pagans.
