  3. Kaha-Nu-Buhu The Guiding Light She knew that Exitius would never stop with but a single attack on her belongings. Nothing would sate him, no deals or exchange could ever possibly slow down his offensive. This was what enraged her, Exitius’ constant and never ending tantrums. The idea that she could possibly have been created by the same ever-present Over-God that had created him was simply baffling to her. Then an idea came to the Ruby Lady. What better way to mock such an eyesore of a sibling, than to belittle the very object of his patronage. If war and bloodshed is something to which her current pest was fond of, then she would present her own vision for warfare. One of primal instincts and natural aptitude. She knew, the art of killing was one that was intended for predators. When she designed the natural cycle, she knew that to shed blood would be to worship her and to consume another soul is to partake in her gifts. She bore the Nacatl into existence in the far-expanses of the southern continent; and there they would hunt, kill, and feed in her name. An eternal hunt perpetrated by the most naturally gifted of her creations, and from her gifts they would take that hunt to every corner of the World-Sphere. [4 AP] – Command Avatar Vu’u stations himself within the Grand Ziggurat of Carda, tasked only with supplying Mamo with a small amount of his power and with ensuring the city and it’s people remain safe should Mamo fail to protect Carda from potential Venandi offensives. However, Vu’u would only intervene if the Dragonslayer were to meet his end. [10 AP] – Create Race The Ruby Lady creates what will likely be her last sentient creation; The Nacatl. These carnivorous creatures would be created to be astoundingly adaptable creations, capable of bearing children perfectly suited to whichever environment they currently inhabit within a single generation. Psychologically, the creatures are often aptly suited to ambush tactics, taking down far larger prey on cunning and guile alone as they stalk the western reaches of the far-southern continent. 0 AP Remaining
  4. Kaha-Nu-Buhu The Guiding Light Soon the Ruby Goddess would have an influx of the damned and lost flood into her realm. Those who died in defense of her will would have to live side-by-side with those that killed their brethren in the coming bloodshed. Perhaps these ‘Venandi’ truly weren’t lost to her guidance, but at this moment none of that mattered. The children of Exitius were gathering and soon, whether it was this year or thousands in the future, they would come for her creations. This game was not something she could find palatable. No, she would break it before they ever reached Holy Carda. In battle, there are those who fight with intelligence and those who fight with experience. Truthfully, she found both to be of equal tact, however to fight openly without either was something she found so repulsive that she could not dare to describe. She looked through her ruby hand to be greeted with the face of her Avatar on the World Sphere, were it possible she would have smiled in greeting to her friend. Sure he was bound to her, but he was still as good company as any other. “Vu’u. I’m glad you could come. I have a task for you, good friend. To the south one can find the spawn of the war-hungry Exitius. You will temper the blade of my creations. The Nyren shall prepare their defenses and train in the arts of archery, while the Pati shall be organized as to their strengths; numbers.” Although this would not be all, for Kaha treated her followers like her very children. Carda was her gem to those who suffered in squalor and filth, and she would not allow it to fall so easily. Out of those who devoted themselves to her worship in the Ziggurat, she chose one man. He was no priest or almoner, but instead a simple curate, an assistant. Mamo was his name. To this ordinary man, Kaha gave purpose and unfathomable power. He was no longer bound by his flesh, instead his ichor dissipated from his corpse and materialized into the world. He was to become her holy defender, her motherly protection manifest. If Exitius were to send his dragons to face her, then Kaha would have to provide the dragonslayer in response. [4 AP] – Command Avatar Vu’u teaches the Pati and Nyren useful military tactics, organizing Pati into large, loosely organized hordes and teaching the Nyren the usefulness of defenses and ranged combat. Uncountable forts are to be commissioned and garrisoned in the areas surrounding Carda by the Nyren, while Pati are instructed to spend the following years to focus on building up their numbers and performing guerrilla drills in the countryside. [8 AP] – Create God-Touched Kaha gives untold power to a curate by the name of Mamo. To him she would give javelins of ichor to pierce a dragon’s hide and powers over blood itself to do with as he pleased. He would be her ultimate defender and with him she would give her protection. With this he would be driven by only one purpose, to protect his home and those he loves. 4 AP Remaining
  5. Kaha-Nu-Buhu The Guiding Light [4 AP] – Command Avatar Vu’u is once more sent off to meet with the Nyren of the River, aiding them in the construction of the first city to grace the mortal realm. The city would be constructed along the banks of the massive river, hundreds of dwellings and shops to propagate the fledgling society. The first marvel being the city’s massive stone walls, reaching 30 feet high and depicting engravings of epic quests and battles of their ancestors. The second and indeed the most defined landmark of the city would be a massive ziggurat in the center of the river which would serve as both a crypt and as a religious/political center, bearing massive likenesses of Vu’u and Kaha-Nu-Buhu. 5 AP Remaining
  6. Kaha-Nu-Buhu The Guiding Light Vu’u made the trek through the cold swamps which laid to the North of the Nyren. The starved screeches of the primal beings echoed through the skies, and as they looked upon him they flew to their trees in fear. As he made his way to a clearing, a large and somewhat muscular form flew to the ground, standing straight in-front of the titanic beast. “Pati of the Swamp, I commend you for your bravery. On this day I speak to you as an emissary of your architect, Kaha-Nu-Buhu. You have attacked her most devout of followers, the creatures of the river. This is a great slight upon the Crimson Lady.” Vu’u continues, miraculously speaking their garbled and primitive language. “She is a gracious God however, as she is willing to forgive this transgression.” The sky suddenly darkened as the Sun quickly darted behind the horizon and Vula-Marama came to a halt in the sky. Several pairs of glowing eyes within the treeline came hurtling towards the ground, their bodies slowly bloating and their screams slowly becoming more muffled as they safely bounced upon the ground. Strangely, the Pati left in the sky also came flying towards the ground as they sank their fangs into the supple flesh of the Pati-Sulu. “This is her gift to the Pati. Protect the Nyren from outside forces and you shall never hunger a day in your life.” Then, a weapon of great power descended from the night sky and rested upright at the Pati warrior’s feet. It seemed be made of bronze, but at the same time emanated an intense red glow. The warrior stepped forth and rested his hands upon the weapon, looking up to the immense lion hesitantly. “You may take it. This is my gift to you, good warrior. Pass it along to those worthy, and allow it to aid you in your goals. Conquer, Adapt, Thrive. But never harm those whom the Guiding Light deemed worthy to praise her.” [5 AP] – Create Sub-Race Through her Avatar, Vu’u, Kaha-Nu-Buhu transforms nearly a quarter of the most sated of the Pati into bloated, tormented creatures known to the Pati as the Pati-Sulu. Their wings would become useless as their bodies fill with ichor, weighing them down immensely as they overflow with blood. They would become blood bags to be consumed by their kin, still denied entrance to the afterlife despite the presence of souls. [4 AP] – Command Avatar Kaha-Nu-Buhu sends Vu’u to journey to the swamp lands. There he would call out to the fleeting, bat-like forms. He would tell them to protect the nearby Nyren of the River, for they were chosen by the patron of these lands and creator of the Pati, Kaha-Nu-Buhu. [6 AP] – Create Artifact Kaha-Nu-Buhu grants a spear of immeasurable strength, Masina-I-Le-Lagi, to the strongest of the Pati. The spear would imbue it’s wielder with the ability to see any opponent’s weaknesses, physical or mental, and give them the means to exploit it. Not only this, any this, but any creatures killed with the spear would have their soul imbued into the wielder to further enhance their strength. 0 AP Remaining
  7. Kaha-Nu-Buhu The Guiding Light Sinewy wings and gnarled faces rose into the sky as Kaha-Nu-Buhu created her first true children. The Pati, the Red Lady’s children, resemble large bat-like humanoids over eight feet in height and thirteen feet in wingspan. Largely carnivorous, the Pati scour the swamps in search of prey of any size. The hold a voracious appetite and their bite is especially potent, injecting a paralyzing venom into their prey’s blood stream before using their specialized fangs to suck up vast amounts of soul ichor from their prey. Interestingly, the Pati almost never kill their prey and instead leave them alive for future feedings. Although largely solitary, the Pati have been known to form small hunting groups to increase their effectiveness in feeding, and this effectiveness would logically lead them to create larger settlements. The Pati, having been born from the Goddess of Souls, strangely are lacking in the soul ichor that they feast upon, despite all other sentient races having an over-abundance of the substance. Due to this lacking in ichor, the Pati would be nearly invisible to the hunger of larger predators. [10 AP] – Create Race Kaha-Nu-Buhu spawns the Pati into the World Sphere. The strange, bat-like race would inhabit the swamps of the largest continent. The race would be inherently hostile due to their nature, carefully flying between trees and capturing their prey to feed upon at a later time. 3 AP Remaining
  8. Kaha-Nu-Buhu The Guiding Light [5 AP] – Command Avatar Kaha-Nu-Buhu sends her servant, Vu’u, to seek after the Vyrnen tribes residing at the mouth of the river. Vu’u’s main purpose on this expedition is to teach the Vyrnen of the River the values of consecrating the dead and also teaching them how to seek out the blessings of their ancestors. 4 AP Remaining
  9. Kaha-Nu-Buhu The Guiding Light Kaha-Nu-Buhu slept for the first time in centuries. Within her abode, the tranquil harmony of souls lulled her into a deep slumber. The years passed by, one by one, until a disturbance in her realm awakened her. A slight prodding, like ripples in a vast lake of ichor, lifted her from her slumber. At first, it was almost as if nothing had changed of significance had even occurred. However, looking to her hands, she watched as one of her many long fingers snapped from her hand and went darting across Tuhinga-O-Mua. Unfortunate, she thought. This wouldn’t be the first time her incorporeal form had begun to disassemble itself, but it was difficult for her to rest with minor distractions such as this popping up on occasion. Suddenly, it occurred to the divine goddess that perhaps an event could be made of the occasion. She brought the souls of a monkey, a falcon, a snake, and a lion to her chamber. Placing in each of them a fragment of her consciousness, she had them seek out her finger across the afterlife. The first to find the finger was the quick falcon. Yet as it swooped down to catch the fleeting crimson shape, the bird was entangled within the thick brambles which grew near the ground. The second to find the finger was the clever monkey. Yet as he swung from branch to branch in pursuit, the monkey was too absorbed in his hunt to notice the massive ravine in his path and fell. The snake however, never found the finger for he was too busy whispering misinformation into the ear of the lion. So when the finger finally made it’s way towards the duo, only the lion was quick enough to pluck the shape from the sky with his powerful jaws. For it’s pride, the falcon was stripped of his consciousness and returned to thoughtlessly striding through the Realm’s skies. For it’s foolishness, the monkey was encased in stone and put on display at her temple on the World-Sphere. For it’s deceit, the snake was cursed to endlessly chase after it’s tail throughout the Void. Yet for ultimately laying claim to her favor, the lion was granted a name and a purpose. His name would become Vu’u and his purpose to guide the creatures of tomorrow towards her grace. [10 AP] – Create Avatar Kaha-Nu-Buhu spawns Vu’u, an extension of her will to guide, into the world. The Avatar would manifest as the a mass of smoke and red light, taking on a lion-like form as it goes about serving as a host to the Red Woman’s temple on the World-Sphere. 2 AP Remaining
  10. Kaha-Nu-Buhu The Guiding Light [8 AP] – Create Landmark Kaha-Nu-Buhu creates a massive tidal island on the shores near her newly created coral reefs. Upon the island would lie a large, seemingly naturally formed stone temple. Within the temple, mortals would find an immense, ruby crystal which would act as a direct conduit between the realms of life and death. Mortals would be able to bring their newly departed before the crystal, and if the crimson Goddess will it, channel their souls back into their corpses at the cost of not being able to ever pass back into Tuhinga O Mua. However, whether or not this would be the only aftereffect would be yet to be seen... 4 AP Remaining
  11. It’s been grand, dude. Really, you have consistently been the coolest person I know in the orc community. I hate to see you leave, but sometimes you can only take so much of the same **** over and over. Good luck with all that non-mineman stuff.
  12. Kaha-Nu-Buhu The Guiding Light Kaha-Nu-Buhu shifted in her chambers in Tuhinga O Mua. The vast fields slowly came to life with the souls of millions of creatures and their essences lingered throughout the realm like whispers of their previous existence, playing out memories of their past. The souls only had enough intelligence within them as they had when they left the living, yet still managed to impress the red goddess. She amused herself by watching the souls of several fireflies wander across her fields, their torsos illuminating the eternal twilight of the Land of the Dead. Suddenly, an idea formed in her mind. The red woman scooped up a handful of the luminous souls and carried them off to the World-Sphere. There, Kaha-Nu-Buhu pushed the spirits into the hard earth beneath the waves of a small gulf, disturbing the rocky sediment and in turn creating hundreds of rocky shoals which rose and fell beneath the tide. Where the souls were placed, life teemed with unbent vigor as radiant corals and diverse water life spread throughout the small gulf. [6 AP] – Shape Land Kaha-Nu-Buhu raises many rocky outcroppings from the waters surrounding the largest of the continents. Massive islets and jagged, tidal shores dot the landscape of this land, but it’s real attraction lies beneath the tides. Under the water’s surface one could find breathtaking reefs of coral and algae, populated with bio-luminescent fauna and plentiful fish. These waters would also be home to many unique aquatic creatures of the Goddess’s design; from the Farau, massive aquatic turtles which carry globules of excess ichor on their backs, to the Ga-Aurim, small arthropods covered in venomous spines.
  13. Kaha-Nu-Buhu The Guiding Light The Moon Goddess looked upon the world she had helped create and gave a smile. At long last she had something to be proud of and watched as fauna crept out from the dense foliage created by her siblings. She saw beasts of fang and claw lurch out and attack gentle forest grazing creatures, she saw hulking beasts collapse and die in the empty marble expanses of the World-Sphere. Despite all of this, the thing that pained her most was a lacking in what came after. There was no comfort for these creatures, their lifeless corpses simply filled up more and more space. In Kaha-Nu-Buhu’s agony, a droplet of crimson dripped from her eye. The bloody tear raced further and further down towards the world before crashing into Vula-Marama with enough force to indent the very rock itself, forming an artificial lake of tears on the crimson moon’s surface. The blood seeped through Vula-Marama before raining down upon the marble flats of the World-Sphere for seven cycles. A drop of ichor fell for every species that would or had been created, ultimately tying the fate of life and subsequently death, to the crimson twilight of the moon. The first of the souls to die was that of a newborn calf, murdered by her mother as she give birth, and the soul left the calf’s body towards the night sky. Taking the calf’s soul by the scruff of it’s neck, Kaha-Nu-Buhu let out her first spoken command to the void. “Let rest..!” At this, the Goddess of Souls created the Land of The Dead, an endless ethereal plain lying past the firmament to house all the restful souls of the deceased. At the realm’s center would exist a massive temple occupied by Kaha-Nu-Buhu and as many of her subjects as could be held, from which all the realm’s serene melody would emanate. [Major Act] – Soul Ichor Magic similar in substance to that which has been created by Yngbald is imparted into the blood of every creature in the present and even those yet to be created. This magic is tied directly to Vula-Marama, acting as a portal for souls to enter Tuhinga O Mua. This ichor, while possessing only a fragment of the Godess’s will, could prove to be incredibly powerful if utilized by those with a keen mind. Upon a soul’s death, the magic leaves the veins of the dead and the body slowly erodes over time. [Minor Act] – The Land of the Dead – ‘Tuhinga O Mua’ Tuhinga O Mua, better known by it’s inhabitants as the Land of the Dead, is the realm created for the express purpose of housing the souls of the dead and granting them eternal rest away from the troubles of the living world. Despite their death, sentient souls residing in Tuhinga O Mua can still impart pieces of their soul to descendants still residing in the living world. At the realm’s center, among the endless rolling hills and fertile fields, lies the Temple of Kaha-Nu-Buhu, a massive pyramid where the recently departed must give tribute to the Goddess before entering her realm.
  14. Kaha-Nu-Buhu The Guiding Light The young Goddess watched as her siblings went about shaping the world to their own agenda. The godlings seemed to have a natural talent for making things from nothing, their forms greedily crowding around the newly formed orb of white thread. Kaha-Nu-Buhu watched as a great orb of light and fire was cast into the dark sky, illuminating half of the newly formed globe with intense heat. Yet, she felt compelled to feel remorse for the other side of the orb. How could anyone marvel at her wonders in this shadow? With this, she outstretched her hand to the darkened sky and released a thick red mist from her fingertips. The mist coalesced into a large, crimson sphere before gradually solidifying there in the night sky. The ball hung there for a moment, enveloping the surface of the world with an intense ruby light, before Kaha-Nu-Buhu gave the orb a gentle push and it began to rotate around the world in tandem with the sun. The newly formed moon carried such intense power that even the water reached out towards it’s pull, carrying massive waves towards the coast where it crashed down upon the white banks of the fledgling planet. To most this orb would simply be known as the Moon and it’s purpose unclear, but to the Goddess it would be known as Vula-Marama, it’s surfaced covered with scattered spires of pale red stone and massive craters. However, she knew she could not be finished until she gave this new world something new to marvel upon. With delicate fingers she set to work poking millions of holes through the newly created atmosphere, divine white light pouring out of the holes and onto those who would reside there in the future. Yet the stars were anything but placed randomly, for with those of keen eye and superior intellect, the stars would spell out the creation of the universe in some sort of primal written language before paper or quill were ever conceived. [Major Act] – The Moon – ‘Vula-Marama’ While the Moon’s true purpose currently remains a mystery, it’s effect upon the world is lasting and significant. It’s powerful pull causing waves to roll along the water’s surface and the tides go up and down each day. The Moon chases down the sun through the sky, yet never outpaces it, offering the night sky a welcoming source of light. [Minor Act] – The Firmament of the Heavens The Firmament, the complex web of stars coating the night sky, serves to act as a story detailing the creation of the Gods and their world. However, it’s message is nearly undecipherable to those of little experience and mostly serves to sate the vanity of an egotistical Goddess.
  15. Forum Name: Vilebranch Skype: Hepatitis_of_Bees God Name: Kaha-Nu-Buhu, Goddess of Souls and the Moon, the Guiding Light Appearance: Kaha-Nu-Buhu appears as a woman's skeleton, covered from head to toe in rubies. Her eye sockets are occupied by two large opals that shine with an ethereal, white glow. By day, the rubies appear dull and unreflective, however by night, each gem reflects an individual beam of moonlight off of her body. She is surrounded by blissful souls of the recently departed. Agenda: Kaha-Nu-Buhu seeks to guide the souls of the dead to her afterlife. She seeks to give them a blissful life after death, devoid of strife. Being an incredibly vain god, she also seeks to provide wondrous scenes of her influence to the denizens of the living realm. Description: The Goddess of Souls has an extremely arrogant and vain attitude when dealing with mortals, oftentimes flaunting her power and influence over the world. Despite this, she is generally benevolent, bestowing boons and gifts when she sees fit. She has an abhorrence towards strife and suffering, seeking happiness and peace instead. Sample Creation: Unable to deal with the idea of an end to life, Kaha-Nu-Buhu raised a great red moon through the sky, it's magnificent radiance touching all across the living realm. However, the moon's true importance was only known to Kaha-Nu-Buhu herself. The Moon would act as a conduit to Nahu-Ag, Kahu-Nu-Buhu's realm of the dead, guiding virtuous souls into eternal bliss.

Tribes of the Vandals Ruler: Beucad of Clan Theudegisklos, King of the Vandals Capital: Luppla (Bernburg) Trade Agreements: Magyars and the Saxons Pacts of Non-Aggression: The Saxons _____________________________________________________________________ Beucad arrived once more to the sound of applause and merriment in Luppla, while this raid's haul may not have been as prosperous as the last due to the aid of the Scirii, it proved to be enough of a hampering to the Veneti that it was useful enough. Further down the road, he spotted one of his war chiefs shouting to him and beckoned him closer with a swift motion. The man approached with a smile, "King!" he shouted. "The Italii bring tidings from Rome. They seek our help in condemning the Veneti from the world. They offered vast wealth, and a formal alliance with us!" The king stared at him, straightening out his face, "And what did you tell them, Gauterit?" The young man took on a look of worry as he responded, "Well, I told him we were eager to spill Veneti blood." At this, Beucad had to bide his anger and clenched his hands around his destrier's reins, "We are Vandals, we do not make deals with bawd southerners. You will send a messenger to tell them that we will not make such a deal with Rome. We will take what is ours, we will take gold and blood from the Veneti." He continues, "Indeed, if you were wise you would have known why we raided Venice with the Scirii. It was to gain the trust of the Scirii, to convince them of our strength. For we must unite Germania to repel the bureaucratic oafs of the South and West. Soon, we will ride South where the true raiding shall begin." He gives a small pause before looking down at the young Gauterit, black warpaint dashed across the man's hairline, "Ontop of this, I entrust with you the responsibility of convening the Thing. Trekking down the main path, Beucad examined the many villagers as they stood in front of their doors, holding back anticipation for what the horn might mean. Through Luppla's entrance, nothing more than a large, stone archway, the tribal king caught sight of the large raiding party, drinking and splitting up their loot among themselves. At the party's head, stood War Chief Rikiar, a long held close friend of King Beucad. The man beckoned Beucad forth with his hand, "Come, friend! We will arrange your cut from the plunder. I believe there is still quite some gold left unclaimed." The chief talked with a rough voice, offering his king a smile and a pat on the back as Beucad approached him. "Oh, you shouldn't worry about it, Rikiar. Just have what's left from the hoard taken up to the longhouse and given to Melle. She's been growing a bit distant, and some gold ought to cheer her up." The king looks out over the four hundred or so men as they travel up into the city, carrying armfuls of precious metals to their families, "How many did we lose, Rikiar?" The war chief simply gave a shrug as he responded, "'Bout thirty. Had to deal with a small danish force harassing us on our way back to the Rhemus. Weren't too hard to shake off of our tail." 19. Tribes of the Vandals Ruler: Beucad of Clan Theudegisklos, King of the Vandals Capital: Luppla (Bernburg) Trade Agreements: Magyars and the Saxons Beucad made his way through the bustling tribal city of Luppla, often surmised as the pride of the Vandal people. He reflected on the history of his people and his triumphs but despite this could not shake the feeling that what he sought to witness would not come to fruition within his lifetime. Centuries before, the ancestors of the Vandalic Kingdom had been ravaged by Hunic incursions into Germania which led the Vandals to being nearly exterminated as Germanic refugees were refused passage into the Empire's lands. However, throughout the years the Vandals have managed to survive within the outskirts of Imperial Germania and their resentment towards the Empire swelled into frequent raids. With the unfortunate Great Dying, the Germanic playing field had been wiped clean for the Vandals and their Chief, Beucad, was quickly able to conquer many of the surrounding tribes and add them to his numbers. He walked past the sacred pine near the center of the city, a towering tree with the likeness of Wodanaz carved into it's bark, and began his way up the stone steps towards the Temple of Teiwaz. The Temple was built sometime after the Vandals resigned their Arian practices during the Hunnic Wars and it's wooden walls stretched high above the rest of the city atop a man-made hill. Entering the Temple, Beucad was enticed by the smell of frankincense and a fair woman dressed in fair white linen addressed him as he entered, "It has been written in the Futhorc that you would seek me out, good King. You seek the blessing of the God of the Hanged, I presume?" He didn't know how, but it always seemed as if the woman was one step ahead of him, and if it weren't with for her charm he wouldn't be as friendly with her. Beucad nodded before opening his mouth, "Indeed I do, High Priestess. I must soon stand before the Thing and convince my people to approve the raiding of the Danish land where the Rhenus meets the sea." The High Priestess, Alwina, simply gave a small nod and motioned for the King to follow her through several more doors before they exited into the Temple's courtyard. There, Beucad found a young Frankish boy tied down to a large marble column, weathered in age. Behind the column the leaves of a young fir poked out and made it's presence known. Several other priestesses after the High Priestess entered the courtyard, carving runes into the boy's chest with ceremonial knives while his muffled pleas for help were drowned out by the sound of a large deerskin drum. As the priestesses wiped the blood from the boy's chest, Beucad could make out the meaning of the runes, 'Christ's Faithful'. The King knew he didn't have the right to deny Teiwaz his sacrifice, so he made no objection. Alwina turned her attention to Beucad and spoke with her usual feminine charm, "Good King, if you seek the blessing of Teiwaz, you must plunge your sword through the boy's heart." 20. Tribes of the Vandals Ruler: Beucad of Clan Theudegisklos, King of the Vandals Capital: Luppla (Bernburg) King Beucad stared into his goblet, inspecting the maroon liquid which resided within it when he heard a thunderous voice from the other end of the feasting table. The warrior chief, who was likely in his thirties, raised his glass up to his king for a toast after going off on a self-obsessed tirade about his own exploits, "- But, of course, none of this could have come to pass without our strong king! To Beucad, long may he live!" For a moment, the entire table seemed to rumble as everyone rushed to their feet to offer a toast to him before sitting back down and partaking in the feast. "Say, you were there with me, right? At the sacking of Arverni? What do you have to say about it all? We haven't seen this much loot since when the Empire left Albion." Beucad took a sip of wine before rising to his feet, his voice echoed across the silent hall and he could see that most of his subjects ceased their feasting to listen, "The Empire will soon dissolve, the Franks have had their day in the sun. Soon, it will be clear what we must do. To drive the lion out from it's den and to slay it for it's hide." He paused just long enough to let out a cough, "The enemy is poked at from all sides; in Iberia I hear that the Empire has been fractured and splintered beyond repair, in Albion the last footholds of Imperial power are slowly being drawn back, and the Danes and Norsemen frequently pillage the coasts of Francia. Soon, the full might of the Vandals will storm across the Rhenus and pillage and raid Paris. The Age of the Franks is over! The Age of the Vandals will soon commence!" 25. Ugluk Bulls An Ugluk Bull decorated in ceremonial armor. { Credit to ‘BelleDeese’ at www.wallpaperup.com } Habitat: The massive domesticated bulls of the Ugluk clan were once rarely found in deserts of sparse vegetation and rarer still in grassy savannahs. Currently, Ugluk bulls are only sighted in the possession of Ugluk warriors. Wild Ugluk bulls have long since been hunted to extinction. Size: These bulls have been selectively bred over the generations, ultimately, for their size and strength. On average, an Ugluk bull can grow to 9-10 feet tall and 17-18 feet in length. Ugluk bulls are usually built like a tank, capable of carrying several full-sized orcs across the desert with little to no trouble. Diet: Curiously, Ugluk bulls are omnivores with sharp incisors as well as molars for grinding up plant matter. While wild Ugluk bulls would primarily be found grazing upon scarce vegetation and only rarely hunting for game, the orcish clan historically forces their bulls to consume descendant flesh in order to heighten the bloodlust and rage of their bulls. This practice has gone relatively stale in recent times in favor of the flesh of wild game. Temperament: Wild bulls, while territorial, did not have the propensity to charge after things unprovoked and would rather run from a fight they could not win. This trait was ultimately its downfall as Orcish hunters took its timid nature as a sign of weakness. Domesticated Ugluk bulls, however, are some of the most aggressive of the orcish mounts. Often times, an Ugluk bull without its rider will become uncontrollably enraged by the slightest provocation. This enraged nature is caused by both its upbringing and its diet, and often times results in major damages to property and self. Brief summary of the creature: The bulls of the Ugluk Clan are humongous bulls primarily built for mass-transportation, transporting large amounts of goods over long distances, and over-all ferocity. Their thick bones and large muscles allow them to hold large amounts of heavy goods over extended periods of time and travel across the desert with ease due to their high stamina and flexible diet. These bulls have a bloodlust only comparable to some of the most savage orcs and their Uruk counterparts show this off as a badge of honour. Characteristic: Domesticated Ugluk Bulls have a tendency to unprovokedly erupt into uncontrollable bouts of rage and it is this behaviour in which an Ugluk show their strength and stamina. An untamed Bull will be mounted by an initiate of the clan and slowly wear the bull out until it is unable to resist, where the uruk then proclaims their ascent into the clan. More often than not, Ugluk bulls will bond with those who choose to mount them during these trials. Origin: Ugluk bulls originated from the deserts and savannahs of Aegis. Early orcs bred the bulls to be as ferocious as possibly as the tamed them and integrated them into orcish society for their strength and size. Weaknesses: While these bulls have immense strength and stamina, Ugluk bulls lack the speed necessary to be a viable warmount and can easily be outran by mounts such as Lur wolves or Gorkil boars. Due to this, domesticated bulls are usually not keen on running away. LM Approval Required: No, Bred by the Ugluk Clan or what’s left of it. If playable, what are redlines? Acts as an RP mount for members of the Ugluk clan. The mount would mechanically be the same as a horse, and RPly being much slower than most other Orc mounts.
