  1. Spoiler

To most, this came as a surprise and to some, a celebration is in order but either way, I think it’s time to move into the next chapter of my life and break free from these bonds. I’ve been here about three years, which isn’t a long time for some people who’ve been on this platform but I think it’s long enough to have sucked out all the joy LOTC has to offer for me.

I’ve done everything I had hoped to accomplish when I joined LOTC. Made a successful trailer, joined the ET and hosted many events which were well perceived as many, successfully started and grew a hunters’ guild to be the largest on Arcas and I made tons of new friends along the way that have helped me in every way possible, it’s been great.

But, since I’m graduating in just a week I think it’s time for me to move on to the next chapter of my life. I’m unsure when or if I’ll ever be back but it’s been a good one either way. Some of you will miss me, some of you will celebrate my leave but whichever person you are just know that you made this journey one to remember. All my supporters and critics, thank you.

I wanted to keep this really brief but I think some shoutouts are in order either way.

@Huntsmen – Thank you for being a wonderful guild to lead, you guys are the most loyal supporters I could’ve ever asked for.

@Jenny_Bobbs – You’re a wonderful friend, cameraman and person in general. Keep in touch w/ me for sure.

@TarreBear – Wow oh wow, you’re an excellent admin. Thank you for always being there to support me and the CT, you’re great.

@Lyonharted™ – A great and supportive friend overall and you’ve always got my back.

@MartinDaMartian and @PurpleMurfle for being the cutest couple around town.

@ScreamingDingo for always being my biggest critic.

@Telanir – For giving me a chance and always supporting me.

@FlamboyantTyrant for forgetting my past and giving me a shot.

@Treaty for putting me on the ET and making one of my great goals come true.

@Fireheart for always being real with me and for giving me the chance to work on the Arcas trailer.

@D4NNA – Teaching me Conjuration (and Garoll) and being always so nice.

@DarkElfs – My partner in crime.. I think. Anyways – your roleplay is great.

@KosherZombie – Gave me my first home when I came back to the server and always supported me wherever I went.

@Everyone – Thank you for making this ride an enjoyable one for the end. I’m boutta head out now.

  3. [ ! ] Several posters are plastered throughout every major city and minor settlement by one of Toriel Maddison’s esteemed servants boasting of a new shop that has arisen near Cloud Temple, calling all adventurers that wield Toriel Tokens to come and spend them, at long last.

NOTICE: This shop doesn’t accept mina, instead - a special currency known as a ‘Toriel Token’ obtained by doing bounties for and by Toriel Maddison.

“Come one, come all to Toriel’s Token Emporium!”

Item list found here, specialty items not listed - come in the shop and see what’s available.

Mystical items from far off lands, useful and required everyday objects, deadly weapons to cut down any foe or perhaps a simple toy for the children? Toriel’s Token Emporium has it all, to those whom bare the right currency.

Attached to the paper is a separate list, boasting all the items the shop sells for tokens. From everything to iron ingots to fuel your war campaign, to a simple dinner to feed the family another day. Perhaps colorful dyes be more your taste or a lovely musical tune to spice up your date? From comfy wool to deadly weapons, we sell it all here at Toriel’s Token Emporium!

So what’re you waiting for? Come on in and take a look, perhaps you’ll be enticed to do a bounty or thrice.

DIRECTIONS: Starting from Cloud Temple, head down King’s Road and take the first left from Cloud Temple, head down that way - up the steep pathed hill followed by a dense tunnel before you reach a two-way path. From there, head left and continue down the road until you see a large building on the right-hand side. (x 413, y 56, z -307)

  5. Spoiler

Tikka stood there - fearless in spirit, blood calm. He had fought many beasts before, he had no reason to fear what came ahead.

    A few moments into battle.

Intrepid Tikka lunged fourth, showing unflinching behavior in his stride atop the Pterodactyl he slashed fourth with relentless intent, digging his blade fourth into the rider - whom of which retalited, slashing deep into the brave Tikka’s stomach though the incessant Halfling presued.

    . . .

They fell through the air, topping each other in a chance to break the fall though, with Tikka wounded, the rider gained advantage.

    A gruesome noise sounded.

Tikka and rider unmoving, the dazed Pterodactyl finished the job sending a hurling ball of flame and destruction directly into rider and Tikka akin, their bodies succumbed to flame as Tikka’s spirit was sent to Goa and his legacy set in stone.

    Time seemed to stop.

Moments of silence followed, the collecting of what remained of Tikka’s desecrated body and the quiet walk home.

    A process of mourning.

His memory will forever live on within the Huntsmen, his legacy will be carried onwards.

“Oki-oki” The words seemed to echo into infinity, as he faded to Goa’s grasp.

deny this lore already. it was already bad enough that somebody made a giant frog named kermit, we don’t need more meme creatures

Khurmt* and that is barely related to this creature lore. I don’t see how you would even think this is a meme creature, lore is clearly extensive and the idea is there, there’s nothing memey about it more than Kha or Hou’zi.

is anybody actually expecting to get some decent rp from ******* frog men

[ ! ] Posters are spread throughout Arcas by one of Toriel Maddison’s fabled servants seeking for experienced hunters to slay a beast that roams across a land known as the Graveyard. The following details the beast in question – drawn out by scouts who have observed the creature over several years to give the highest chance of survival to whomever challenges it.

    08-piotr-golem-tree-creature.jpg

A scout artist drawing of the golem, circa 1713

    • Wanted: A golem made from logs that appears to possess a ‘corrupted’ aura, named Incommodum.
    • Threat Level: Described from scouts, “posses abilities no creature before has been known to possess” – extremely dangerous.
    • Suggested Party Number: 4-6 fully-geared hunters with able experience.
    • Description of beast: Having the figure of a normal human male, it’s body made from a thick bark and it’s “meat” made from solid wood. It’s right hand having sharp branches extending outwards from it, looking like fingers – seven counted in total, of which don’t appear to move. On it’s left hand, a ball of ‘magic’ pulsates, aqua blue in color, it’s been observed to have capabilities of shooting a harmful beam of what could only be described as a type of sorcery. The beasts’ feet appear to be stumps and it’s head looking to have several large branches extend outwards from it, an odd light is visible through it’s visor-like skull, of which moss hangs over it. It moves sluggishly and looks to be roughly eighteen feet in height, not counting the branches extending outwards from it’s head. It’s width around five feet through it’s hard to determine.
    • Location: The Graveyard, varies on the specific spot but always spotted in that generalized area.
    • Reward: A sum of 1750 mina to be split throughout the party, and one Toriel Token redeemable for special items at select stores*.

Accepting this bounty binds you to the terms of service set in place by Toriel Maddison in which you may not take any parts or items retrieved from the beast. Though – without adieu – If you think you have the gut and might to take on such a beast, then please send a missive back at once. If you attempt to cross me, Toriel Maddison, then we shall do business no more and you will regret the day you did so.

[ ! ] Posters are spread throughout Arcas by one of Toriel Maddison’s fabled servants seeking for experienced hunters to slay a beast that lies in a forbidden forest. The following details the beast in question – depicted by other hunters whom have failed to tackle the creature previously.

    pine-devil-treant.jpg

An artists depiction of the creature, circa 1713

    • Wanted: A seemingly cursed ent named Consceleratus
    • Threat Level: Described by other previous parties as “deadly” and to avoid it at all costs.
    • Suggested Party Number: 5-6 able-bodies, geared to the teeth preferably.
    • Description of beast: A prematurely cursed pine tree, stuck at a height of twenty feet and roughly seven feet in width, going slimmer as you ascend upwards. It has a large gaping mouth with outputs a lime green glowing aura from it, the mouth itself reaching near six feet and capable of fitting a fully grown man inside. It has two elongated arms, size undetermined, that end with sharp branches that look like fingers. It has five legs, each the same size – similar to that of a spider. The eyes of the creature are oddly located at the base of it, just above it’s root-like legs. At the top of it, twigs extend outwards where supposed leaves used to sit. Now – it is sharpened into a weapon, it’s body able to bend without breaking. It is highly aggressive and relentless.
    • Location: Varies from forest to forest but often located in a dark woods not far from Cloud Temple, as scouts most recently reported.
    • Rewards: A sum of 1750 mina to be split throughout the party, and one Toriel Token redeemable for special items at select stores*.

Accepting this bounty binds you to the terms of service set in place by Toriel Maddison in which you may not take any parts or items retrieved from the beast. I did try but for some reason the forums arnt loading right for me i will change the parts that need changing once i get to a pc

Then why upload a unfinished product? That makes no sense.

Given the time frames between each post, you’ve gave these no previous thought and are writing them up on the spot on your phone which doesn’t give any consideration to how these would actually play out in a war. You’re just coming up with things on the spot with no previous thought. Seems all a bit sketch to me.

  10. Over half of this lore post is just a copy and paste from your other three pieces and it just relates to backstory and not even the actual piece, yikes yikes yikes.

Also, most of your suggestions to how it works don’t fall in line with how current war claims go, I suggest you read the rules and talk with people before trying to make up this kind of stuff.

  11. I’m sorry but most these sentences are pretty incomprehensible and it’s littered with word, spelling and grammar mistakes. Plus the lore is so vague, without a picture it’s just hard to picture what exactly you’re trying to do here. -1

(Also I think this already exists or it’s really something you don’t have to submit a lore submission for..)

The same can be said for your other two posts.
