^ plus if you want to get real, i don’t think it’s a two sided thing when it comes to raiding problems, tbh I wish that raids could be different but I think they are actually in a good place numbers wise and the 24 hour notice is a good way of adding more numbers for a larger fight. I feel like the rp side of raiders/people who get raided, have an issue with raids because in axios raids were almost always forced to be rp combat with the 4 man cap and relativly high pvp default cap which should never come back. I think a way to make raids more enjoyable for both parties and to remove less stress and toxicity should be to lower the requirment of pvp default. Since when raiding a majority of arguments arise from 3 things, defender default, the fact one party is trying to avoid pvp, or powergame/metagame. All of these are kind of thrown out the window if you make pvp default cap something like 6+ or 8+ since if you have 9 people in combat and they choose to rp it’s horrible. It’s all *swings sword* *dodges* “Hey you better roll for that.” “I don’t ROLLplay I roleplay nerd.”

Shalom Hello LOTC players, It’s N0tt and I come here today with something other than a Big PVP video. Being a well known bandit and villainy RPer I’ve noticed that there are not many other Bandits/Crime lords/Sell swords etc. At least not enough to be scared on the roads or actually need to watch out for bandits. So, I’m here to ask the general community of LOTC if you are interested in playing a bandit or villain of some type seeing as I’ve heard from a few members of the community that are more on the RP side of things that just don’t know where to start or what to do. Based on the feedback of this form I will release another post explaining the best ways in which one could RP a character that wishes to be a bad guy, but for here and now I’ll just give a brief explanation of the endless possibilities of being a Villain. Bandits and Crime lords have endless role-play potential seeing as there are many ways for you to portray that persona’s extent of his motivation to do what he or she does, whether that be a grudge against the unfairness of the world or a desire to make a crime empire and have a sphere of influence around all of Altas. This motivation is what you should build your persona off of and let him grow, and being a Bandit/Crime lord doesn’t mean you have to be a mean spirited person in role-play, the way your persona acts whilst they are banditing or doing their bad guy stuff can be done a handful of different ways. For this example I’ll use multiple different Reiver personas that conduct their banditing differently: For starters there is my persona Lonan Daemyr, who stays semi-serious while banditing still finding the bright side of things and making light of the situation for himself. Secondly there is Mcthornz’s persona Mah’r Volaren, who does his banditing seriously all of the time, always ensuring there is not a threat to be had from the people that which he is sticking up. Both of these personas do NOT kill their banditing prey unless they draw on them and must be killed to ensure a successful banditing. The Third and final example is TheSilentfriends persona, Lyulen Daemyr. Lyulen is a jester of a character in any other situation except for combat, when it comes to banditing he is ruthless and would rather kill his prey than let him walk away, ensuring there are no loose ends. Bandit personas can come in all shapes and sizes with all different kinds of motivations, goals and skills. This is just a taste of how a bandit persona’s actions can go and If this thread and poll shows that there are many people pursuing bandit/villain personas I will make a more in depth guide on the different types of bandits and other villains can be played and viewed throughout the realm of altas. Okay moon man then I think that Horen lived in the castles at the wall and something happened after his death that lead to the corruption of the Vaeyl order I think there will be a huge battle at the wall against an unknown enemy or the Vaeyl that will decide the fate of altas. I also think that Horen will probably intervene in this battle somehow or at least there will be a magical intervention. Also why come to a speculation post to tell anyone what’s right from wrong you are not even an ET and I really hope something I said is right since you claim to know all.

Then there was a coup de'tas on Horen or they were corrupted by something hence why they now attack other humans and are undead, They are not very friendly knights so I believe that they had something to do with the death of Horen and the wall being made. Also how do you know they served him?

It was the ancient seat of power for Horen the first Human that was over run by the vaely order. Horen, in a last stich effort to save his lands, Used magic to create a huge Ice wall that consumed the castle that he lived in and its inhabitants. Keeping the army of the Vaeyl order incapable from making it to the north, untill they end up breaking down the wall in these events or getting around it. Also it’d be cool for there to be a hero in this event or like a dream team of all the nations and their champions coming together to fight in the huge event.

The Big battle at Small Tower Scran looking at the aftermath of battle as Reiver highwaymen loot Renatian corpses, c.1665 “Ready to lose your stuff? It will be entertaining.” -Aragon Silversteed, Battle of Small Tower The air was still as the battle began with the sounds of the eight hundred man Renatian rally marching down the road to Small Tower, with hopes to expel the brigands that inhabited it. Inside of the tower stood the Reivers and their many bandit and mercenary companions as they prepared to defend their lands. With the Reiver forces stacking up to three hundred strong alongside fifty local fishmongers, they were prepared for the worst. As the Reiver forces moved to the top of their tower, the battle began when the first life was taken by the Reiver ranger, Dirty Mike. The archers from both sides would not hold back as arrows flew in every direction, with each side holding their own respectfully. Soon, the Arborites brought their ladders forward in an attempt to climb the Tower. Renatian men rushed the front door of the tower, breaking it down within seconds, but the soldiers would be in for a surprise - as the Reivers would pour scolding oil onto the first couple men to enter. As the Renatian soldiers kept flooding in, an auxiliary force of one hundred and fifty men, led by Luis Carderra, would come and harass the Renatians from behind before retreating into the forest where they could use guerrilla warfare tactics to continue their assault. Meanwhile at the tower the Renatians had broken into the cellars of Smalltower and were making their way up the tower as Lonan Daemyr and Mah’r Volaren would lead the archers in an effort to expunge the men inside. They’d be successful in their attempts, though the Renatians would continue their push into the tower and make it to the second floor, where they would force all of the Reivers’ men to the top of the tower. With the battle looking grim and all hope lost, the auxiliary force suddenly doubled back into the tower to sandwich the Renatian men that had spilled into the room, whilst the forces atop the tower would push down, wiping all of the hostile men in the tower and leaving almost everything stained red in Renatian blood. The Archers would then return to their post, firing down at the few escaping Rentains as they fell back to the rest of their forces. Seeing this opportunity a young soldier yelled out “THEY ARE WEAK! CHARGE!” which was backed by the commands of all the higher ups as they charged out of the tower, cutting through the Rentain horde and sending their survivors routing back to home.
