  2. Somewhere, in a fog filled shroom infested forest, a deep snoring, mixed with mumbling, would be heard from inside a rotting tree stump ”...mmmmmmmberries...” As the days grew older and the moss around the stump longer, the snoring one day stopped. A vigorous munching noises would soon follow, accompanied by ”mmmmmmmmberries” mumbling.
  3. Raeghor would stand and rest in a long dark tunnel, somewhere deep underground “Hrrmmpgg...me roig’t leg be aching. Some’un made Dormin Dorkadrel angreh agaen, eh? Git t’at fuker, Ka’az!” He would chuckle
  4. The days started to melt together and the walls of the cell, surrounding Raeghor, conjured images of the past to his eyes. “Ah wondur, does un knuw w’en ‘es getten mad eh?” He mumbled to himself. “Es t’es an ignorant bliss or torture o’ teh moind, hurrhurrHURRHURR!” The laugh echoed through the prison halls. “Ah muss remembur...me goul! Teh Core! Ah muss foind eht” As the whispers and ranting grew louder, it attracted an irritated head. “Zhut lat mouff!” The dark dwarf most likely didn’t even hear the foul command barked at him... “Do nub make mi kome in dere agh kut latz tongue!” The angry goblin opened the cell door and entered the tiny room, unsheathing his rusty blade. This was all Raeghor needed...
  5. “Tae long ‘ave ah stared teh green plant s’oite, eyeballed teh blue skoi! Tae long ‘ave ah stayed t’is ‘igh aboov teh groond! Nae moar ah sae!” A dark dwarf, Raeghor by the name, would have a long stare into the tunnel which leads further into the underground. His young face would be covered in warpaint for the first time of his life. An experienced eye would know, that he has tried to poorly copy Ireheart warpaint, the warpaint of his forefather. “Tae long ‘ave ah postponed t’is! Tae long ‘ave ah been dabblin’ in teh politecs uv teh groond-dwellers! Nae moar!” If you’d see him standing in the mouth of the tunnel at this moment, you’d think he is postponing still. “Fok eht! Ah doen eht! Ah announcen me Pilgrimage to teh Core! A t’ousand daes underground! Ah s’all nae return tae teh surface! Ah’m given mahself tae Yemekar, teh Forgefather! And tae Dormmar, teh soilent!” He would lift his warhammer, grabbing a firm grip. “Ah’m goen now!” He would point to the frightened goblin, chained up to his Forge. “Ef yuh REALLEH need meh, send t’at cont tae get meh and ah s’all emerge!” Not looking back, he would walk into the darkness. His goal – to find the core of the World.
  6. Raeghor would chuckle, knowing stuff.
  7. Raeghor Onyxheart would emerge from his Forge, his beard covered in charcoal dust and the tip of nose a bit burnt. "Edel teh beardless isnae king uv moine. He isnae king uv Dwedmmar" And then he would take hammer with size no. 13 and orders a pint of dwarven mead from the tavern, returning into the Forge. Accurate depictation of Raeghor Onyxheart infront of the Forge
  8. All around the dwarven lands, posters would be hung upon the walls. In taverns one could see them placed on the tables, a beaten up goblin would be handing them out to passers-by. The poster would read as follows: Dwedmar, kadanar'ur'Urguan! Raeghor Ghalamoruk'th kadrel aina'nairon'keovid kadros. Kolun voz keovid tira, harath oz Kal'Tarak. The poster would have the sigil of the Forgemaster of Kaz'Ulrah. -=OOC=- Translation of the dwarven text: "Dwarves, sons of Urguan. Raeghor Onyxheart and the Forge are looking for Forgelings. If you wish to work on the Forge, come to Kal'Tarak!"
  9. After Raeghor Onyxheart received word that the minerals have been transported to Dor Irongut, he would go into his Forge to prepare it for smelting and forging. He would add water cooling system, some valves to let out steam and the pipe system that goes with it. He would begin the work to transform the Forge into a prison of sorts, to trap something or someone inside..
  10. -=[The Onyxhearts]=- The sigil of the dark dwarves as seen on their banner. History Appearance and Traits All dark dwarves have the same unifying dark tone to their skin - ranging from near black to light grey. Their eyes have a fiery glow to them, which can go from crimson red to bright orange. Their hair ranges from charcoal black, to light grey or even ginger. The Onyxhearts wear heavy armour, usually the highest quality steel smithed. The clan dons ceremonial armour for the less combat-intensive occasions, pieces that are warforged to have a glowing steel undertone, similar to the Doomforged laval-armours. Most Onyxhearts are quick to anger, while some are quiet, silently furious. Some of them are foul mouthed, while others greedy and cunningly polite. Traditions Each new member to the clan is accepted a beardling. After which they are encouraged to choose one of three paths. Each path is different from the other, requiring devotion and passion for their path. The Path of war The path of war is for warriors of the clan. They are required to excel in single combat and in groups of three, called the Wolfpacks. Their patron-god is Dungrimm. The path of craft The path of craft is for the skilled of the clan. They are required to excel in smithing and crafting, to research and develop their knowledge of metals, minerals and alloys. For the most talented of the clan, the ways of warforging and other secrets are revealed. Their patron-god is Dormmar. The path of knowledge The path of knowledge is for the strong-minded of the clan. They are the chroniclers of the clan, the researchers, the magic users. Their patron-god is Ogardhad. Each path requires a beardling to complete a trial. After completing it, the dark dwarf is welcomed to the clan as a full member. The clan maintains the independence of its individual members, respecting their heritage and their own ancestry. In this regards, the Onyxhearts are more a collection and union of smaller clans than an actual clan of their own. Rules 1. Follow server rules. 2. We are not the antagonist of the dwarves. 11. "Rhena, remuv teh stone" Raeghor Onyxheart ordered the dark golem. Dark golem, as huge as the entrance into the maze, removed the giant stone, placed to keep out something strong and terrifying. It was not the first time Ghalamorummar ventured into the labyrinth. Last time they were almost killed. Barumnir, the hero, has not been seen since last time. "T'is toime we be readeh" Nero Onyxheart mumbled. The maze was different now, no spiders, no draft, no sound. Nothing. It made the dark dwarves nervous, only the dim light of Raeghor's armour and Rhena's runes showing them the way. "Et knuws we are 'ere, Kronul." Raeghor stated. All of a sudden, the sound of charging hooves was heard. It was the charge of death and destruction. But this time, the dwarves were ready. This time, they had Rhena with them. It was a loud crash, when flesh met stone, the Minotaur had an equal opponent. After a while, two rooms became one, as walls were torn down. Raeghor and Nero worked hard to stay out of the way. "Keep eht buseh, Rhena! Keep eht down!" Raeghor ordered. He lifted his sword, and started aiming the blade into the neck of the minotaur. But the beast was stronger and smarter, than they thought. It pushed back the golem, not noticing small dwarves planning and scheming their attack. The golem was a new sight for it, a curiosity. As the construct was lying on its back, the beast plunged its axe towards the belly of stone. Time was short now, Raeghor knew. He jumped and sliced his blade at the huge neck. The beast grabbed him by throat, turning its inquiring gaze from Rhena. It was all that was needed. Rhena rose, kicked the beast on its one knee. Raeghor, now released, sliced again at the neck. As the wounded minotaur let go of the dwarf's throat, he grabbed it by its horns. Rhena pushed the heavily bleeding minotaur down, while Raeghor stood on its shoulders and hold the ivory horns tight. Then, the dark dwarf pulled. He put his back into the pull, using all his strength. Nero was kicked unconscious at the beginning of the fight. When he woke, he saw minotaur's head being ripped off of its shoulders and a golem, showered in blood. It was then, when the dwarves discovered a pair of stairs, which led deeper into the darkness of the maze. The minotaur was guarding it.
  12. Deep underground, in the hidden hold of Khazad'Akduum, the dark dwarves made their home. Expanding it, digging the ground, harnessing the minerals, they uncovered an entrance. It was the entrance into an ancient maze. Standing at the gates, they felt a draft of wind coming from inside. Three dark dwarves, three Onyxheart stood there, stared into the darkness with their fiery eyes. Barumnir Onyxheart, Nero Onyxheart and Raeghor Onyxheart. "Courage, Kronul, weh 'ead en!" Raeghor Onyxheart would state to his companions, leading his fellow dark dwarves through the entrance and into the confusing depths of the maze. Inside the maze there seemed to be nothing but darkness at first. The trio wrestled through some spiderwebs and killed a bunch of the creators of said webs. The screams of fighting awakened something stronger. Something was there with them, in the first floor of seemingly endless maze. A deep, guttural roar echoed through the walls of the maze. Still screaming and celebrating the victory, the company of dark dwarves did not expect such a welcome, as great was the anger and fury of the roar. "Courage, Kronul!" Raeghor stated to his companions. The dark dwarves followed the maze, into the general direction, of which they believed the roar was coming from. As the maze progressed, they came to realize, that they are completely and utterly lost, lost in the hugging darkness of the maze. One of them saw a dim light at the end of a particularly long hallway. The air seemed to be much warmer now. "T'ere!" Nero Onyxheart would point out. When they first arrived into the dimply lit room, only thing they heard was a bang, following Raeghor flying into the wall. Then the roar filled the room. Nero and Barumnir stared at their companion already bloodied on the ground, and to the other side of the room there was a minotaur. The beast towered over the dark dwarves, offering them no time to plan their defence, attacking right away. He swung his axe at their heads, shattering walls, trampling the ground. Charge after charge the beast showed no sign of weakness nor did he tire. After it had stomped in Raeghor's ancestral laval-armor and impaled Nero with its horns, Barumnir Onyxheart stood up. He managed to carry two of his brethren out of the maze, leaving the angered guardian of the first floor ravage in the darkness.
  13. In the bowels of Kal-Tarak, deep within the mountain, where the warmth starts to turn ice cold, a fire has been lit. Since the warmth would creep up the stone, right to your nose, one may feel curious. Posters would be hung around the city of the dwarves and rumors would be spreading a message: "Dwed'ur'Kaz'Ulrah! Teh foires of the Forge have been lit. Teh kingdom needs machinists, Forgelings to work on the Forge. Any able dwed, willing to work on teh biggest Forge of our toime, not being afraed tu get burnt, Contact Forgemaster Raeghor Onyxheart." (Depiction of the Forge)
