The so-called Pink Witch, or Cruel Leader, as some had begun to name her, sat atop the mountain where the ocean’s breeze brushed softly against her skin. It was a rare moment of stillness, shared only with her students, the Warrior of Fate, and her Spirit Guardian. @PolarLoLs @Adelemphii “It seems we were right once more,” she murmured. “Honor is such an abstract thing… often used to chain oneself in the name of tyranny and bloodshed.” The Geisha Of Liberation reflected on all that had led her here. The words of Zue( @Hawkeye_Gough) echoed in her thoughts, that she was never meant for war. The voices of her former brothers and sisters followed close behind. She had not been born for battle, and yet, there was something intoxicating in fighting for freedom, to spread this STRIFE. She had hoped Rahar, the tiger mani, would bless her path to rebel and win. Slowly, her finger lifted, pointing toward the horizon where the storm-wreathed island loomed. “I understand now,” she said quietly. “Answer me, my students. Tell me, if I'm mistaken.” Her expression shifted into a solemn frown, shadowing features once gentle, anger and serenity intertwined, violence and peace coexisting in ever-chaotic balance. It was this contradiction that forged her clarity, her resolve. "If we destroy our enemies over there." Her pointing intensified as if she could feel the presence of Storm Island and those who lived in it. "Will we finally be free... to live in peace?" And so she prepared for war. It was never a path she wished to walk and fight those of Kurai-Kuni, yet she felt driven onto it, pulled toward bloodshed that promised only further ruin. Still, deep within, she understood that she had to let go of her past ties. Only by doing so could she ensure that those who followed her would have a tomorrow.

"Who would've thought?" A druid remarked to her student upon showing her the missive ( @Adelemphii) "Activate armoring protocol, Miyu-san. We are going to war against humanity."

[✗] [AMENDMENT] Necromantic Maledictions - Bursting
lemonke replied to Sonybut7's topic in Denied Lore
I do like you made a standard for the size of the corpses but the damage is too weak and gamefied. I understand that combustion is wacky. I agree with you but it takes 6 emotes to cast and can be easily dodged imo. -
Yeah, I see your point, and it's why I said "it might make sense." But it's not really roleplay-friendly; I always take into account that there is a person behind the screen and if my action is truly worth it. I understand; it's a very cringeworthy way for someone to approach RP this way. But unless x individual is a freak, I just think the killing was not necessary. I got you—your character is not really the good type and wanted to kill her off, not to make her go to the druid realm stuff, but as I said, I just think it doesn't build anything, and unless the person pks. It is just a big nothing burger with a bit of drama. I think the need is done at this point. Right now, I was just informed more about what she actually did rply and how she was caught. So, I'm less against it per se (if you get some DMs of me being against the RP, it was the heat of the moment LOL, I'm a bit passionate when it comes to defend people). SO, I apologize for that and I see how she deserved it, but I'll remain firm that I don't enjoy the afterwards killing, but for personal reasons anyway. You shouldn't be forced to RP your character differently because someone says so OOC, so it's not my right to be a justicar about it.

I think Paniczealot is trying to say that he might be ok with chaos rituals, but there should be a BASE on it. The fact that it can be simply "You are x race, I don't like you" and get dced over druidism or similar magics is a bit silly, or as I said, a bigger nation demanding a disconnection that have nothing to do with y magic. For the vaporwave or whatever situation, I can say I'm not really happy about it. I'd say, if it was done on another DAY and if the character wasn't killed, that would have been better. I just think that disconnecting someone, then getting their magical limb destroyed, and then killing them is a waste of time and roleplay. You didn't make druidism better or resolve any issue, because, at that point, you quite literally gave a "**** you" OOC, or at least it could be interpreted so, perhaps not in this situation. That's it. It can feel personal for some. It's like. Ok, she gets dced, I get it, but then you add all the rest atop of it, which could make sense on an IC projective ig, but like… why? At that point, you don't even offer character development to the disconnected individual; they can't remember what happened. It's a bit messed up, as not only did they waste months of magic progression, but they can't roleplay it out?? "I woke up without my magic, huh?" It's just bad and offers no growth, no conflict.

I hate Chaos DC. I don't have many reasons, but literally, I can use as a reason "you look at me wrong" to ruin your whole character, and lotcers can't be trusted with it. I have just seen it happening so many times, and reporting it doesn't matter. The people who such things are smart enough to cover it well as an IC thing, another example is an entire empire asking someone to get dced. It's just extremely bad faith.

˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ “You must follow this oath or die.” “You must stand with me or die.” “We offered you a lot. Why do you leave us, you oathbreaker!” “Come to this fair trial, or you’re a coward!” ˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ ❛ ━━━━━━・❪ 🎕 ❫ ・━━━━━━ ❜ “Know this. The Phony Emperor is Afraid of you.” Many times, we have heard the same tale, over and over, false accusations of deceitful justice and order. Remarks and quips meant to force us into blindly following any command, lest we be labeled dishonorable. Yet my question lingers: what TRULY is honor? This concept so many wield to a fault, using it to condemn others while presenting themselves as morally righteous. How mistaken they are. This is not honor, it is a twisted mockery of it. A false virtue they are enslaved to, chained by a blood-shedding pact upheld only by tyrants afraid of numbers rising against them, and to protect their withering powers. Honor has only one true meaning: to remain true to yourself and to seek freedom on the path of becoming a better person. Once you understand this, tyrants will no longer seem as nightmarish as they wish you to believe. This is a lesson each vassal of the empire and beyond should heed carefully, should they be afraid to act. They wield oaths and honor as weapons to instill fear, to prevent rebellion, to stop unity from forming into a force of liberation that could shape a better future. Trust my words: when a tyrant looms tall upon a towering throne of corpses, once surrounded and cast down from that seat, they will appear as frightened and weak as an insect. Sir Redgar( @Guacamou) and Sir Khaleed( @Chrisoulis777), no matter what the other knights or the emperor may say, today you have honored your ancestors; don't feel shame if you refuse to participate in the trial, but be proud for refusing any more orders from those accursed by Iblees. You have upheld the oaths of your hearts by standing for what you believe is right. Therefore, do not fear what comes next. Do not fear their threats. And above all… stand together with the others. I know well how terrifying the unknown can be, but this is the moment to right our wrongs, to find redemption, and to secure a future where our families are no longer hunted by murderous tyrants. To this, I say. Bring forth your desire for battle, your indomitable human spirit to overcome all obstacles, do this, one last time to… ♫ Heed the drums of Liberation. ♫ ♫ Heed the Song Of The Future. ♫ ♪ Our Utopia begins now. ♪ - Lady Of Symphonies ❛ ━━━━━━・❪ 🎕 ❫ ・━━━━━━ ❜

A Oyashiman of Liberation detached from politics and the likes of Kurai would read the missive with curiosity. It'd be stored inside her sleeve before going off to try and find the individual who wrote this.

"To run... hm..." A disappointed Oyashiman of Rokudo grumbled upon reading the missive. She will not forget this. The timing was far too coincidental. No matter what, a war was ahead, and she'd do her best to stand and fight. "I would have not expect less from someone willing to sacrifice others for their land and power."
-
"My home was destroyed so that men could rule through control and deceit. Warriors enslaved beneath a false sense of honor." The Liberation Oyashiman spoke, raising her Ōdachi toward the sky. "Still, I will fight to free mankind from its ignorance. To offer pardon even to those who betrayed the Haven or refused to aid out of fear." Soon after, she pinned this missive upon her shoulder plate of the armor as a memento of what she was fighting, and moved on to begin her preparations. "Rahar, Oijin, my Kami tiger of Revolutions. Bless me in this battle. Let us win for freedom." A small inhale was claimed, only to release forth her wary cry... "Jiyū nakushite shi aru nomi!" A shout for the Heavens to heed. "This is for Choumi, this is for those we lost from the sin of Control!"

FIGHT FOR FREEDOM | A Call to Arms
lemonke replied to Chimeraof1999's topic in Human Realms & Culture
"Jiyū nakushite shi aru nomi! Without Freedom, There is only Death." Did mutter an Oyashiman of Liberation. -
A squirrel turned, bearing a sunflower of hope within its paws. @DragonofTaters A fox did likewise; it returned. Its gentle steps carried a quiet sense of strength and renown. @craneia A snowflake flung into the air beneath the bright moon, reaching the youth. @Adelemphii Drums of liberation echoed across the ruined temple of Rokudo Haven to offer determination. @PolarLoLs A single, familiar voice of a pink-hued figure carried all. @_xMika “I will fight for our future.” And so, a choice was made to stand and fight alongside the dwarves. @JoeyTheGhost

IMPERIAL PROCLAMATION | THE UNHOLY NECROMANCER PROTECTORATE
lemonke replied to King_Kunuk's topic in Miscellany
Overlord Smilebone Of The Black Church signs the missive -
The aged druid hid within the refugee shelter of Oyasha, far in the northern reaches where few could easily find her. She tended the plants there, using their quiet company to reflect on all that had happened in recent times. Born under an eclipse, she had been told she was destined for destruction, for evil, and for a long while she had believed she had proven that fate wrong. But now, with everything unfolding around her, a heavy weight pressed on her shoulders. The haven of her ancestors was destroyed, her people scattered and lost, all because of her, or so she believed. Because of the evil she supposedly attracted. Kurai-kuni, the Empire, Ichika and her lies… they all cut deeply, and she felt at fault to an agonizing extent. Was this supposed to be her ending? ". . ." She looked over at the fox and the squirrel returning to her, the two of them bickering as usual, dragging something between them. The geisha had been thinking of them too. These two creatures were sent by her druid mentors, the same mentors who had done nothing to protect her grove, one of whom had even signed the missive that led to its devastation. Her teeth clenched, and the roots of the surrounding plants trembled beneath the soil. "Injustice. Utter injustice…" she growled. "I'm sorry, Joy Wonder… ancestor of mine. Father… Mother… I…" Her lament halted when she noticed something glowing between the paws of the two creatures, a basket. And behind them, she caught a glimpse of a silhouette. A man, clothed in ruined garments, blue eyes fixed on her. He lifted one finger to his lips, quietly signaling her. “Doubt. It is part of us… but when we hand it over even to our comrades, to those who love us, then it becomes Obsession.” She remained silent, listening to the angelic voice of the figure who followed behind the two animals. His voice carried many undertones, familiar ones, echoing beneath his own. “You must believe in the future of those who have given you their trust. Who loves you, who cherishes you. To find liberation is to bestow joy unto others. To believe in a happier path.” He knelt beside the fox and squirrel as they released the object, letting it roll forward and revealing a particular object. His hand extended, as though offering Ehiba the right to take it. “The world is vile. You will be betrayed, again and again, and yet you must continue onward. For many still need your hope… your belief. Become their beacon joy, and never give up.” Her trembling hands reached toward the glowing item(s). A sapling of many songs and more. She gathered it into her palms, and in doing so, it felt as though she were accepting the touch of that ethereal figure with the blue eyes. She clutched it close to her beating heart. Fear, anger, doubt, they all surged within her… yet something else rose to meet them. More hands appeared. One belonging to Magnolia. Another to Aspen. Distant yet close. She could feel them, her mentors, resting their hands upon her shoulders, offering comfort she long thought lost, and afterwards, more followed suit. Many hands: From Miyu, Kanba, Laymech, Fish warrior, and many more, as if her friends and ancestors had given her the strength to rise. They were supporting her to stand on her feet and remove the heavy burden on her shoulders. Her eyes widened as realization washed over her. She understood what this gift truly was: a blessing, a sign of hope. A reminder that not all was lost. It was the sapling of the ancient tree under her grove. Her lips parted, tears slipping down her cheeks as she raised her voice for all to hear. A simple declaration… yet one filled with an undying resolve blessed by the people she had met throughout her life: “THE ROKUDŌ HAVEN STILL LIVES!” [!] And yet, only time would tell, upon her return, whether she could find and give forgiveness, whether she could truly rise against her foes and rebuild what had been destroyed. But for now, her path ahead felt bright, her future glimmering with the possibility that something could be regrown anew.

Ehiba once more prayed for brother Harvest. She too agreed the old druid order had grown stale and passive, to the point all was burning and none sought to help their kin out of fear. Too selfish and would rather kneel than to help those that weren't from their circle. She knew something new ought to be forged from the ashes of the current shattering, and with a self-nod. It seemed her decision to sever herself fully was chosen as well. Yet, all could change, perhaps in this upcoming Moot, her hope for the druid order may flourish once more, and still, she'd be sure to reach out Harvest upon her return, and to help him out.

A shrouded druid in pink would pray to the aspects for the young dedicant to push through this tragedy. Whilst thought to have been betrayed by them, she had hoped Suliin'yuln would rise and find the sparkle and joy for her duties once more, as much as any other of her brothers and sisters in nature.
-
Ehiba, the pink witch, the oathbreaker, the betrayed. Many names gathered around her with each passing day, even without her lifting a finger to earn them. They clung to her as she dwelled in her homeland, restless and troubled. She had heard of the coming moot, though her hope for it was shallow at best. Her hands tugged harshly at the sleeves of her kimono, clawed fingers digging into her pale skin in simmering frustration. She believed her brothers and sisters would betray her as well, fully, undeniably, with the Druid order as a whole lending their support. She had warned them all... she had told them not to trust so blindly certain individuals, and that their true allies would reveal themselves in the previous days. And yet, none had listened. If only she knew... "Why does it even matter... what can they really do?" "My triumvirate. Why must this be so? My Kami... will they heed the truth? Will they fight back or linger still, to let all walk upon their heads?"
-
Ehiba stood in quiet peace, knowing the two souls she had welcomed into her temple as family had remained together until the very end. Whatever others might say about her, or about them, those who truly cared knew the truth, and alas, she had no way to heal wounds she had never heard of. For a moment, her gaze drifted toward the campfire of her home, watching how the flames swayed and curled, akin to a dragon: She remembered Kato Choumi and how she chose death to free herself from the chains of her clan, rather than continuing to follow enslaving customs. Ehiba knew… one day, justice and truth would prevail. No matter what people will say. Still, she had hoped, she could have done something to help Choumi escape the pressure of judgment and criticism, as it seemed. Many Oyashimen preferred self-death than continuing to follow a caged path.
