Neither Do I , but to an extent on lotc its unavoidable. Respectfully, Imo, what you're doing if you make a previous 13+ server 18+ is creates all sorts of new problems, especially with the ct's goal of new player retainment. how are you going to regulate this without a full server reset? How are you going to regulate 200+ players that get on every day? This idea isn't plasable, and imo turns the server into something that allows 18+ stuff. There is a reason why 18+ channels in nation discords are discouraged, no less the whole server.

And how just are you going to regulate it? Turning it into an 18+ server won't solve anything. Instead, it bans a large portion of its community, and turns it into an 18+ erotica-ok server. Also, how do you suppose you're going to regulate this age thing? Asking everyone constantly what their age is is ******* creepy as much as it is annoying.

Depends on the person, and depends what you mean on emotional attachment. For all the people i usually am friends with irp, i create ooc friendship bonds as well. Whether that could be said for romantic rp and ooc romantic bonds is usually dependent on the people doing said rp. I think a lot of people who turn to romance rp are "deprived" of it irl, and while I agree mostly with your points, I do think stigmatizing romance-rp won't do anything. If anything, it will cause people do it it in private, and under the loom of privacy is where bad things happen.

While I admit I think romance rp is cringey, I do think it matters more on who you're doing it with. If you're 25 and doing it with like a 20 year old, eh, okay, whatever. But If you're 25 and you're doing it with a 16 yr old, that's ******* weird and needs to be addressed.

It is incredibly important to start this conversation. We need to understand the faults of our follow and how to properly correct it. What we need to do, in my opinion is how cases like these are taken care of. He was a pedophile, everyone actively knew he was a pedophile, there was evidence of such, and yet it was not enough. It was not enough because of arbitrary rules that actively go against our community and standard morals . It's like letting someone assault you until your cold dead body is proof. This needs to change, and it needs to happen now, or some poor 14 year old is going to get groomed again, cry out for help, and nothing is going to be done. Oftentimes, children and younger teens don't understand that they are being groomed. Why, as staff members and as a community, are we not advocating for them? for ourselves? God help us.
