In some weird way and aspect when it comes to villainy and storytelling, it would be interesting to interact with a group if there was a more in-depth plot-line (and this is kind of a hard reach/ask too since this takes some time, dedication, and effort on both player's end for this). Over a year ago before I went into a hiatus due to a cancer-diagnosis in my family that left me having to be the parent and caretaker in my family, I got my hands involved with this really fun eventline that had me entangled in someone else's plans with their own demons, cultists, and dark practitioners. In that group was one of my dear friends, and together we bounced ideas of having our characters be nemesis with each other. With their character, in a normal guise, they were friends, but when she dressed up to engage in villainy, she would target my character and I would continue the hunt for this cult. It would be so fun to see that happen again (and I know that won't be me since I'm still a caretaker and in school), for a character to get to know a group of people, befriend and love them, but with some twisted ideology they target those whom they most respect for this big evil plot, or possibly be overly curious about a group and TESTING the boundaries to see if they'd falter or not. And it shouldn't be a tiring ordeal of: 'YOU ARE IN MY CHAMBER OF SADISM. GET WHIPPED GET WHIPPED GET WHIPPED' It should be- 'Come take a seat, have some tea, lets wager if your friends will come rescue you when that clock turns three. If you win I let you go. If I win, I take something from you.' Getting beat around like I'm at a kid's 8th birthday party and they needed me as a pinata due to short supply is pretty mentally wearing when its such a common and lame trend on this server. It's overrated. It's good when it's done every once in a while in a blue moon but like- it gets to a point it's just superficial scarring than anything character developing. I have seen these events and organized plots take place before, and every time players get so thrilled to have something that motivates or adds new behavior to a character. Whether it's being thrown into a deep cave and tortured of your past, hunting down a drug den from stolen sheep, having one epic fight then sat face to face with a member of six vampire group, or being shown a deceptive lie about your loved ones that it puts your own trust to the test about their loyalty! It's always so fun but so rare to witness these days. And typically- even if this server is very hellish when it comes to OOC communication, it really does heavily rely on a lot of before-hand organization, understanding, documentation (because some players will be weird at the end of the day), AND communication. Maybe this is just me screaming into a vacuum and your group already does this but I have based this on the past few months with other characters I have seen getting kidnapped, and then how that RP felt pre-incident and post-incident. It's all just the same cycle that you can easily avoid what happens from how common and typical it is.

I don't see this fitting with the void either. The void has nothing in it. The void in lore isn't an expanse that transcends 'the celestial heavens' to let others see back or forward in time, it's more of just this love-craftian space that wants to eat everything (people can argue with me on this but this has been restated by the Storyteam countless of times in their events and in world events). I get the concept of creating the zodiac to make celestials but I think I'm just bewildered of how it themes itself in a place that creates and somehow transcends even farther than aengudaemonic stuff already implemented. This should have been a new magic of it's own, something neutral that opposes Seers and Shamans, or adds a clean up to it. Like this is really good but it denies the actual narrative of what the staff have performed on the server time and time again. This CA rewrite is really cool and deserves more love and attention. For sure feel really excited about creating something new with this to engage with the server.

Take a moment to read what they said. Good on ya to link an alternative, but it's not very nice to shirk their efforts and organization as well as the time they took to respond to you.

So anyone who's stank ass hasn't showered in five days is immediately getting flamed by werewolves. (On a real note, this seems so fun- the RP this would draw in is incredible. Incredible post!)

The Storyteller reels back at the depiction of a panda, neither irked or disgusted by the fact it was portrayed in this manner, but simply for the fact it was a panda. The elfess detested the animal. "Pon, take this poster and hide it in the farthest reaches of my letter cabinet! This-this putrid bear has crept it's way back into this realm; extinction has failed it!" As quick as it was delivered, the woman discarded the parchment onto the floor for the wisp to hastily store into her desk. She curled into her bed, wrought with annoyance, and left restless to even catch a wink of sleep. The panda had haunted her mind once more.

For once, the elfess was about to retire to the warm confines of her bed just a bit earlier than her usual rest time. Panic and the stress of a dreamless sleep did not plague her in this rare opportunity, but just as she tucked her feet beneath the blankets, a familiar blue wisp crawled from the walls to deliver the notice. She knew better than to skim over it, but the tempting fruit of curiosity had led her astray. "Ah, this is a good one!" Exclaimed the Storyteller, piercing emerald eyes a lit with glee. Quickly, she rushed to her book, pinning the notice to keep note of history as well as topic for future chatter. "Good job, Pon! Let's keep our ears open for more news that floats in the waters of this realm."

While I empathize with the moon, and do what I can to reflect that light, I feel I have most in common with the night, and endless void that is forever shrouded in all the things horrid with the world. It’s so difficult to wake up, but I can’t even tell if I’m dreaming or not. How pitiful is that?
