In an inn in kings landing, mercenaries, knights, and adventurers alike all enter. They came for the promise of gold, and adventure. This was promised by an infamous and rich man, Jonathan Flowers. A bastard of the flower lands he rose to such heights through special mercenary contracts. Now he was the one giving a contract, spreading the word of adventure and gold.

As the people interested in what he had to say sat down on a long table and ordered ale and wine, Jonathan was quick to state his contract.

"I  gathered you here to promise you riches beyond your wildest dreams. I speak of course, of the distant Essos land mass. There, my informants have told me of dragons and slave upriseings. What I propose to you is that we shall journey across the sea and make way at Atstapor. From there we will head to the rumored dragons of Meereen, and see for our selves. The journey will be long and deadly, but if we reach our goal and seize it, we will all be richer then the Lannister's themselves."

----

A forum role-play for a song of fire and ice fans, where as stated above we will adventure as a party to lands far and wide to eventually try to steal Danery's dragons. Westeros nations role-play have been tested before, but no one had though to do a small group of custom characters embarking on a quest, so here you have it!

I will be the leader of the group, and add in events along the way to test our mettle. Standard forum role-play rules apply!

Appearance: Black hair, pale skin, 5'8"

Type of Person (Examples being Knight, Lord, Peasant, Woodsmen): Merchant

Reason for accepting contract: Although of common birth, Ramyr claims to have the blood of the dragon in him. He wants the wealth, of course, but also to see the dragons with his own eyes.

Short Biography (optional): Ramyr Rivers was born in the Riverlands, in a village not far from Riverrun. The bastard of a bastard, he wears his name proudly and claims that his father was the son of a Targaryen. Good with his tongue and smart with his words, Ramyr became a successful merchant and has many contacts across the Narrow Sea. He has an aura of arrogance about him, his wealth and supposed blood contributing to it. When he saw his opportunity, he gladly signed the contract. Why not help a fellow bastard?

Type of Person (Examples being Knight, Lord, Peasant, Woodsmen): Bard-Plays the Fiddle. (Thought we could use some MUSIC!)

With the possibility of theft and murder on the roads, Hugh had to defend himself several times and quickly became a man who experienced danger regularly. After hearing about the contract, Hugh is ready to seek his fame and with it his steel, wits and mettle shall be tested.

Characters Name:  'Ser' Rickard Blacktyde

Gender: Male

Appearance: Tall and strong. He carries a greatsword of castle-forged steel on his back, and thick boiled leather with chainmail as his armour.

Type of Person (Examples being Knight, Lord, Peasant, Woodsmen): Knight

Reason for accepting contract: Needs money, and after the house he worked for fell, he needs it worse than ever.

Short Biography (optional):

"I'd never really liked being a Knight. You just have to say the word and everyone thinks you as an honorable shitstain of a man. I despise the title, too. Everyone calls you 'Ser'. I'm not fuckin' Ser, I'm Rickard. Call me so and maybe I won't hate you. Emphasis on maybe. Being a Knight disgusts me. You get given a title which makes you somewhat more powerful than the man you were before, only to get kicked in the arse by the Lords, Ladies and Kings. Before you know it, you want to be the commoner again."

Characters Name: Ayr Sand

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Ayr has thick black hair with a clearly Dornish skin colour that is as dark as a stone Dornishman but not as dark as a salt Dornishman. His eyes are a deep brown and his facial features are prominent. His hair is styled unlike that of normal Westerosi people, in that it is shaved on the sides, leaving a thick stripe from front to back. His body is clearly that of a warrior.

Type of Person (Examples being Knight, Lord, Peasant, Woodsmen): Courtier of a Lord.

Reason for accepting contract:

His overt reasoning was that he wished to investigate the rumors that have been sprawling from Essos. He needs to know whether they are in fact true or not. This is because he has an eager Lord awaiting an answer.

Short Biography (optional):

Ayr's birth is a mystery to him. He does not know whom his mother or father is. He has been serving under the Prince of Dorne, Doran, for as long as he can remember. He is currently 27 years of age without a land or child to his name. This is because of his upbringing. He was born and bred to be a soldier, a warrior and an all round weapon. His bastardy is a hint as to why that is.

Ayr was brought up in the households of Sunspear, and was surprisingly permitted to be in the presence of Doran himself a lot. His friendship with Doran is quite close, though he is more familiar with that of Oberyn and Quentyn Martell. However, they are not directly involved with his day-to-day work as a minor Martial in Sunspear. Training those who cannot fight to fight better, harder and stronger. He trains them in the three spears, and that is all. Swords are not needed, they are small and far too lazy for him.

In the sight of new prospects, his master has sent him to accept this contract in hopes of finding more information about Daenerys and her Dragons, and if necessary, procure 'further' evidence of their existence.

I love the idea and the look of this roleplay. I just don't know anything about Game of Thrones, books or show. I mean, I'd love to join in, but would that get in the way?

Well Magiik, do a little bit of study on Westeros. It could possibly get in the way, but what's more important is that your'e having fun role playing, so I'll let you know if something's amiss.

Sneakey I would accept you, but you don't get discharged from the wall, you serve for life. You could go for a deserter of the watch.

Note to everyone, I wouldn't mind if this went like the books, so everyone can assuredly make secrect plans with each other to eventually f*ck everyone over and take the dragon for yourself!

Characters Name: Ser Eden Hake the 'False Knight'

Gender: Male

Appearance:A man of moderate height and width, with a staunch, toned look to him. His body type was that of a mesomorph. He had sharp, hazel eyes under a mat of fair, mahogany colored hair of lengthy posture, not well-kept, at the least. A rubbish, dark beige shadow of facial hair covered his dirty looking face.

Type of Person (Examples being Knight, Lord, Peasant, Woodsmen): Hedge Knight

Reason for accepting contract: For money, of course. Eden doesn't believe in the humility of knighthood, nor its principles. It's small wonder why he's a hedge knight, and not an anointed knight of noble blood. He also seeks the prestige of a renowned knight, as befits his title. He believes he deserves such luxuries and splendors.

Short Biography (optional): Eden Hake was raised in the northern reaches of the Riverlands, close to the border to the North. His family was good friends with the noble servants of House Reed, bannermen to both Lord Eddard Stark and Lord Robb Stark, yet had little connection with the renowned family themselves. He followed Lord Hoster Tully into war with the House of Lannister, and soon, followed his son and heir, Lord Edmure Tully, into war with not only the House of Lannister, but the House of Tyrell. Once Robb Stark's army was butchered at the Twins, he fled to the capital, damning whoever would claim he had served under the rebel army to begin with. Bankrupt, and desperate, he sought out another task to fill his empty coffers.
