Mikhael quickly stamps his seal onto several posters and instructs his squire to place them up around the great city of Vekaro. The posters read;

 

Maer of Vekaro!

 

Elections will soon take place for the rightful Maer of Vekaro! men inquiring for the Maership position should write their names at the bottom of one of these posters. A Maer should present good family values and be a strong leader in times of depression, if any man wishes to have this title please fill out your name in the format below:

The Lord Roy reserves the right to overrule the election, to prevent other nations electing one of their members.

Triston stands up and makes a big speech to all people gathered in the square.

 

 

"Right now, I see a problem in Vekaro. It has been only recently I have joined my father here and from what I see in the city is a problem of activity and the lack of city officials. I persoanly had spent 5 elven days to find a  steward to sell me a house. From what I see the only people who can actualy help you seem to be sleeping in the days of the largest demographic of us raevier people! If you elect me, one of my largest concerns will be to hire more officials and stewards to assist people with housing and city problems.

 

Another problem is our lack of defence from the Ogres just outside our town! I do not plan to build a wall outside Vekaro, but I would like to allocate some of our tax money into buying weapons and armour to arm the common strelt, as we know strelts are the best fighters but we need to be coordinated and ready for raids.

 

I would not riase or lower taxes, but I woul continue with the posting of weekly reports to inform the people about our town and what has been happening.

 

I would like to see more activity within the Decterum and the Raevier townsmen, a one of my first decisions if elected would be to have weekly and daily cultural events and patrols by Decterum to not only give more things to do, but to keep us protected from the ugly Ogres outside our town!

Speech (Why the people of Vekaro should choose you): Written in Heartlander, so all can understand.

I was a bandit once, a dirty no-good who belonged in jail rather than the streets. All until Kvaz came along. I became good fellow soldier of Kvaz and served Ostromir Carrion with intense loyalty. I was converted to the faith of Godanistan, and enlighted all the way through. I now serve as Steward under Mikhael Carrion, finding those who had seen a lack of Stewardship and aiding them immediately. I feel that I am good at these things and a man who has a lot under his belt who can contribute. Give Robert a chance of leadership and you shall never regret it, to further serve our people!

Speech: Am humble strelt, did not even consider position of maer until shown other candidates. I offer myself as maer as alternative to one who would consort with dogs, pre-pubescent boy, and bandito. While it should not be necessary to even argue considering competition, the problems within Vekaro and ways in which I see fit to solving are as follows:

 

• Lack of sources of good Raevir entertainment within Vekaro; gambling hall and strelesy boot cannot do all. Kebab are to be strung up and placed in stockades for citizens amusement and potato-throwing pleasure. 
• Existing workplaces are rarely used, such as fishery and lumber mill; will establish quotas for workers to meet in exchange for compensation.
• Establishment of Raevir militia with accompanying levy-master (maybe dog-fucker will do good). While Decterum are valiant protectors of Vekaro, oftentimes it is the strelts who must take up arms and require organization.
• Many promises of festival have been made, none have occurred. As maer I will ensure weekly festival including famous Sun-Smile Festival.

   Vekaro being the exclusive home of the Raevir, it is important that their representative be one of them (besides Yuri he mates with beasts). A vote for Vse is a vote for Raevir values.
