There once was a couple named

Helorna and Lucas, they had a child named Nicholas

Nicholas went off into the world while his siblings stayed at home. He met a young woman named Lauria, and the two had children a bit too early

Ryan and Phronesis.

The future gatherers of

the Darkwood Bloodline.

Ryan and his twin Phronesis had been given up for adoption, left in the streets to be picked up by strangers.

Ryan was taken in by a mercenary company,

Phronesis was taken away by a group of

free-roaming adventurers.

Lucas grew up with a life of books, privilege, and science.

Ryan was raised with a life of hard work, violence, and superstition.

They lived opposite lives, but were forever connected.

One day Ryan had just come in from a guard shift of

New Malinor. He was drinking some wine

in the tavern when someone tapped him on the shoulder.

“Brother!”

The two Darkwoods immediately recognized each other,

as before adoption they had spent some time together

orphanage hopping.

But they knew that Malinor would soon be

falling, and in its place a new nation would rise.

However, as time went on they discovered that

the Conclave was nothing better than New Malinor.

It wasn't until Lin’ame had been

established under the Mali’aheral

that the brothers decided to bring together their family once more.

They had discovered a family book, and began to aid in

reuniting their Tree.

Physical Features:

Darkwoods are usually to be on the shorter side of the Mali’ame,

ranging from 5’’ feet to 5 3’’.  They also have brown or black hair and have green or blue eyes. They are among the tannest of the mali’ame

and are distinguishable by these features. They wear their hair loose and flowy, not usually keeping it held up or in hats.

Clothing and Style:

Most Darkwoods wear green, browns, and blacks. However, the way

they wear this is not set. Most like to wear loose and maneuverable clothing that can withstand the weather and dirt, but the more sophisticated Darkwoods wear it Acius style. Darkwoods also

enjoy putting things like vines and extensions into their hair of the color green.
