Out-Of-Character Information

Please fill out the following questions as accurately as possible, and ensure the essential details are accurate.

Minecraft Account Name:  lindrianna
How old are you?: 17
Time-Zone: gmt+8
Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have sifted through the rules and I agree to abide them.

What previous experience have you had in role-playing?:    I have been roleplaying in tumblr.com for about 2 years  now.  It's a literate roleplay in which we are required to write in paragraphs every time. I believe I have a more than sufficient roleplay experience.  and i have played a handful of online roleplaying games as well, such as World of Warcraft, dungeons and dragons and Aion online.

How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?:   I found Lord of The Craft from the videos on youtube.

Link any applications that you have previously made for the server:  this is a re-post of my old application

Have you posted this application on the Minecraft Forum? If not, then please do so (link above):
I have, 2 times in fact. but I'm not sure how to link it :(

Have you read the Elven lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography?:    Yes I have

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Role-playing:    ever since I started roleplaying, it has only had one meaning for me: roleplaying is an escape from the mundane reality.  It is when you completely become someone else. someone you have always wanted to be in a fictional world.

Meta-gaming:   It is when you roleplay in a rather ***** way. I suppose it could be called 'god modding' too. for it is when you use knowledge that your character should be oblivious about

Power-emoting: it is the same,in my oppinion, as 'god modding'. It is to fully take control of what is about to happen without giving other people a chance.

In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name:  Lindrianna Heartshorn

Current Age:  114 years of age

Sub-race (if any):  Wood Elf

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Lindrianna Heartshorn's life has revolved around the care of creatures of any kind for almost as long as she can remember. It was their hereditary position in the  small Slughorn estate, an estate she used to live in as a child, located just in the outskirts of a city called Elandriel.  and so her path was set before her almost immediately. Fortunately, she liked dogs, so it wasn't a problem, though she doesn't much care for other animals.

She was still a junior huntswoman when the catastrophe struck the Slughorn estate. It took her mother and father's life.  She then looked for her brother who was no where to be found. She persisted herself to think in an optimistic way  about her brother. Maybe he had ran away , maybe he is in a much safer place. She had no choice but to leave her dying town.  Lindrianna hadn't actually meant to steal most of the famed Crossman sighthounds, but flee with them she did. Lindrianna is currently taking care of the hounds in secret as well as her own dogs. It's definitely a job and a half, but she's terrified she'll be strung up as a thief and horribly punished if the authorities find out she has so many of the expensive animals. This is unlikely, since expensive leisure activities like coursing are much rarer in these harder times. Lindrianna, however, is not reasonable about this.

Living for more than a hundred years, Lindrianna is one of the few  wood elves are who able to understand and speak the Elvish language. Though she barely uses it these days for obvious reasons.

Ambitions for the Future:  Lindrianna's dreams is to be the best well-renowed hunter there is; to master the art of Archery as she once promised her father.  She also wishes to tame one of the most powerful creatures known to all mankind before her demise and to find her brother's current where-abouts.

Personality:   Lindrianna's life has revolved around the care of hawks and hounds - mostly hounds - and oftentimes she forgets that other people are probably not as interested in them as she is.  Since she can't work as she was originally trained, Lindrianna currently does any odd job available for a bit of coin, and hunts frequently to supplement her food supply.  She automatically defers to anyone who looks of a higher rank than herself, and that's a lot of people.

Skills:    Yes, she IS that good with dogs of any stripe. She's not a bad hand with any other kind of animals either. She's naturally gifted with that, some might say. Lindrianna is also an excellent hunter in her own right: almost all the meat she and her dogs eat comes from what they catch. It's much too expensive otherwise.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):  (screenshot attached) Like a typical wood elf, Lindrianna has brown skin and a long dirty-brown hair.  She always wears a plain green  leather clothing that reveal Lindrianna's as a commoner; she has the body and hands of someone who's always worked for a living. She often seems nervous, as if hunted or guilty. She may actually be in possession of the worst poker face in the world.

Any other details you wish to share about your character: She wears a rather curious pendant on her neck. It was given to her by her late mother before she had died from the horrfying incident. Lindrianna Heartshorn never leaves her house without her trusty bow and a quiver.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

Answer:   She wandered through the forest as one of her daily routines, following a rather diminished road when she heard the whispering and snickering of what she assumed were elves just like her. Upon further inspection she realized that a group of high elves were mocking a small wood elf child.   She sneaked behind the bushes, listening closely as they mocked the little Wood Elf that was now down on the ground.  A heart wrenching pain overwhelmed her insides as she heard the abysmal words ( a rather weird combination of swear words and insults, she reckoned )  that fell out the High Elves tongue.  It reminded her of the reasons why she loathed them.  She loaded an arrow in her bow to shoot ; not towards the High elves, she knew better than to kill  them -- but to the tree that stood nearby in a succesfull attempt to divert the bully's attention.
"there's a special place for high elves like you in the nether " She said, stepping out of the bushes and in front of the small wood elf, arms crossed around her chest as she looks at them with a threatening expression "Iblees is very organized, you see."

She could hear a soft chuckle escape the corner of the small Wood Elf's lips upon hearing Lindrianna's words. She glanced over on her shoulder and winked at the little Wood Elf. The gentle smile on her face soon vanished though, and was replaced by an evil smirk as she looked back at the group of High Elves.
"hurry along. I heard the fallen one's looking for you lots now"  and with that, Lindrianna watched the bullies run away, a terrified expression engraved in their faces.

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer:   Lindrianna grew up in a rather small home. Never had she once asked for anything that she wanted, for she knows that they were not rich enough. Her mother and father had to work extra hours  because the wage was not enough to fend for their daughter and son. The overwhelming temptation to take the coins for herself  threatened to wallow her as she looked down at the shimmer gold coins scattered around the old man, but she soon forced herself to snap out of it. She ran to the old man in a rush,  an expression full of care evident in her face.  After recieving no reply from the old man after she had called out to him several time, Lindrianna collected the coins on the ground onto the pouch once again. She looked at the pouch in her hands for a brief moment before placing them in her bag. She promised to herself that she would return it to the old man after they had arrived in the nearest infirmary.

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

Answer:  The man who tended the shop who formerly introduced himself as 'val'kaar' smiled at Lindrianna. The bow she had longed for in his hands. "is this the bow you spoke of?" He asked, running his hands through the curves of the wooden artifact. She nodded her head, eyes sparkling with interest. It took all of her patience to not ****** it out of his hands and run away with it.

"how much for it?" She asked, scared to hear the answer.

"two-hundred minas" Val'kaar answered. Lindrianna could hear the smirk in his words. He knew she would not be able to buy it, he was playing with her.

but Lindrianna was persistent."i'll take it for a hundred" She replied.

"Hah. fat load of good you are, aye'? Forget about it, lass" He was laughing now, mocking her.  The girl clicked her tongue, her long nails forming crescents on her palm as she clenches her fist tightly.  "Fine. one hundred and fifty minas. and i'll hunt for you for a week"

Val'kaar looked at her, as if in thought, and she looked back at him intently in response. After about two minutes, she finally got that sweet nod of his head. "Deal"

Lindrianna reluctantly handed the coins to Val'kaar. She wondered if it was worth it. a hundred and fifty minas could feed her for about a week. She looked at the bow for a mere minute before she gingerly ran her fingers through it, and it was then she realized that this was the bow for her. she felt an overwhelming amount of power surge through her upon having contact with the bow.

"so that's a week load of animals from you" The shop owner reminded.
With a grin breaking on her face, Lindrianna nods.
