After pinning up the new announcements of the edited and reforming government of Haelun'or, the High Elf, Delonna can be seen walking throughout the city-under-construction, calling out.

"All Mali'aheral! The time has come! Gather outside the inn!"

Upon arriving at the inn you find a crowd beginning to gather, curious as to the reason for the commotion.

Another parchment has been set up, this time with a notice and leftover space below it.

As we have many times before, the time has come to choose which citizens we wish to be responsible for directing the future of our people.

The labours they face will be great, and they will not prevail without a true will to further the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya.

Should you consider yourself worthy and capable of the sacrifices the Mali'aheral require, sign your name and the position you aspire to on this parchment.

The Mali'aheral themselves will choose who is to be uplifted to fill the positions, so all candidates are expected to inform their fellow citizens of their intentions and explain how their selection will further society.

The positions that require filling:

Sohaer

Medi'ir

Medi'ir

maehr'sae hiylun'ehya

-Delonna Aeléyèlsa, Maheral of the Mali’aheral.

A note is left. "I, Silir'ilume, declare my intent to pursue the position of Medi'ir."

So again stood Silir'ilume, the Weeping Swordsman, before a forum of his peers - a forum composed of those gathered with the intention of beholding the discourses offered by those seeking office. Glorious purpose imbued the air itself as each candidate took his or her place, and the excitement was palpable in and of its own. The golden-robed elf ascends to the center of the forum, delivering his discourse in pursuit of the office of Medi'ir.

"My fellow children of Larihei - we stand upon a precipice! We are burdened with glorious purpose, and we must act accordingly. The maehr'sae hiylun'ehya, our crowning principle, dictates that we must journey collectively towards the progression of our civilization and the health of our people. This must be satisfied through the elections of those who you believe will set the correct course! Allow me to dictate my motivations and ideas, through which I believe I will act as a guide towards progress in collective intellect and the advancement of our society.

The elf raises his arms to emphasize his words. His robes billow as he speak, and the embroidery upon his garb casts light upon the visages of those present.

I intend to, in coordination with the executive Triumvirate of Haelun'or, ensure the establishment of scientific institutions and research methods to further our bases of knowledge. I will see to the establishment of incentives for progression in the arts and sciences, and will create and amend institutions as necessary alongside the other incumbents of the executive Triumvirate. This progress and research will be displayed for all to behold, and the knowledge of our people will benefit.

will ensure, in coordination with the executive Triumvirate, that tranquility continues to reign among those of silver, and that any necessary corresponding action will mitigate risks to Larihei's children. This may include the establishment of diplomatic ties and officialized exchanges of knowledge and goods.

Finally, for those that fear that their ideas and beliefs will not truly be heard and put forth, I will press for regularly held forums of debate. Through these all may make their opinions known, for the position of Medi'ir is not unilateral - quite the contrary. For the executive Triumvirate to successfully uphold the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya for which it was elected, it must seek to implement the concepts that its people develop, and alter its course according to the opinions possessed by the majority.

Haelun'or will stand as a beacon of radiance, a star under which many may congregate to foster knowledge, development and understanding in the arts and sciences. Choose wisely, children of Larihei, for you choose those who are to stand at the helm of your civilization and impart your will upon the world."

The golden-clad elf bobs dips his brow to those present in a conclusive gesture of respect and courtesy.

"I yield the floor to those present. Should you, those with whom the final decision lies, wish for clarification in my intended courses of progression, call for a forum of further debate and one shall be established. I will offer my thoughts and justifications until your minds are collectively settled."

Ceriren Elibar'acal steps forward, purpose within her eager and elegant step. "Ceriren Elibar'acal. I would wish to pursue the position of Sohaer of the Mali'aheral." The old high elf takes a small breath, her thoughts racing at a hundred metres per second as she develops the mediation of verbal declarism between her lips. She begins to speak, smoothly and confident within her own abilities.

"I have lived within these walls, both outside and within to ensure the safety of our Walls, old, new destroyed, torn, and rebuilt. All of this has been with the idea of trying my hardest to benefit the people. But it has proved fruitless, with nearly nothing to show for myself. I have been here since long before most of the Mali'aheral, spare a select handful that know much more than I in terms of knowledge. But there is one thing that I have left blatant since the beginning of my protection of the People inside and out - It has never been underneath one alias of the governing body. It has been of my own choice since I had begun."

Her cheeks are flushed, quite obviously from the lack of breath that the seemingly ancient elfess has spoken from. Taking a deep, long breath, she continues.

"It is with the self evidence of proverbial construct that I wish to partake within the government, not to only better the People's infrastructure, but to make us the moral high standard of the Mali once more. At a time we were not hated by many, instead seen as a quiet people with heavy minds and long lists of all forms of knowledge. In the past years there have been select groups of Mali'aheral that have partook within the violent standings of hatred. We have made many, many enemies because of this; though our relations has improved with most."

Whomever would be listening at this point would perhaps be drawn to herself, an interesting topic as she takes that same long breath to continue; though this time softer to not attract as much dust around her nostrils.

"I an a Mali'aheral of many subjects, many talents, and many forms of knowledge. Be it practical, impractical, or just forgotten by some. But I am a Mali'aheral still; and I will always be so. Nothing can change that. We, the People, of our father Malin are superior to the rest. We were the first Children, and we must set the example of own moral high standing.

The rest of the world does not quite agree with such, but we were, and most are, not the spiteful beings that they believe us to be. Certainly, we are not them. We are the Mali'aheral, whom created a language forgotten to most, we named the trees, the skies, the earth that we stand upon; and with that we must become who we were at a point. We must arethe high Mali'aheral that we are."

Her cheeks are flushed a light pink on her fair skin at this point. As the tall female brushes her hair out of her face, her ears twitch.

"And with this it is my ideal to run for Sohaer to better us; not just the infrastructure of our rebuilding Cihi, but as Mali'aheral ourselves. I wish to run for this position to bear effort of great lengths to make us the epitome of perfection. I wish to bring us to a state of prosperity, where our epitaphs would be written for millenia, even after we are gone."

She smiles soflty.

"I am Ceriren Elibar'acal, and I would become Sohaer if the Mali'aheral of today would support oem and her drives toward perfection. maehr'sae hiylun'ehya."

She bows slightly, hand on stomach, and walks off after.

Kalameet stands, his posture straight, his composure neutral, and his voice confident.

“It has been a long time since we last shared such a joyous occasion, Mali of the Silver City. I begin by admitting that I’ve missed my home, and the Mali’aheral which come with it. I’m glad to see you all, and I’m glad to be here with all of you.

However, this is not specifically why I speak to you all now. No, I speak to you all because you must be aware of the troubles we may face in the future. Stagnation, lethargic nature, and lack of progression and education. All things that damn our people, if not corrected now.

However, I offer an alternative, and I offer my aid to rectify this possible outcome we all face. If elected Medi’ir, I intend to place Science and Magical educational/research facilities on my list of top priority. I intend to give our greatest minds the tools they need to progress our people, to raise us to the pedestal we’re destined for. It isn’t I alone who will give us the progression we require, it’s all of us together, united as whole.

Now, my moment is up. It’s now up to you, the people of our glorious Silver city to decide our future. Be wary friends, for stagnation and lethargy creeps at every corner.”

Kalameet offers a deep bow, promptly turning on his heels to walk off.

Mediliyur walks into the meeting, clearing her throat a few times softly before beginning her speech placing her hands behind her back.

“Karin’ayla, Mali’aheral of our glorious cihi. It has come time to call upon one of our own to lead us in the next great step in history. Our cihi is being rebuilt, and this brings about a chance for change that does not come often, and cannot not be taken lightly. This chance is the reason that this election is so important; more so, I daresay, than others we have held in the past. This reconstruction contains within it a hidden potential for the mali'aheral - the potential to reconstruct our society, our systems, ourselves - and to continue the improvements we have moved towards since the beginning of the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya: namely, improved military, improved preparation, improved education, improved awareness, and, perhaps the most important, improved ideals."

Mediliyur pauses a moment to let the Mali’aheral around her take in the words she has spoken before beginning to explain some of them in depth.

"With the rebellion still quite fresh in the mind, the military that protects our people often comes to my mind. Through the brave and heroic efforts of Asul'athri Parir'taliyu the Sillumiran have continued in their service, but their strength is not an unlimited well from which water can be drawn endlessly. Likewise, though our walls are great and strong, they cannot hold out against our enemies forever. This is why, as Medi’ir, I would seek to provide more support to our protectors. With those who join this cause, I would plan and construct more traps and tricks for the enemies of the mali'aheral, to assist in keeping out those who are unwanted. I would have plans drawn up and set aside for the Sillumiran, to decrease the response time for attack. With the support of myself, as Medi’ir, and the cihi, surely the Sillumiran will be a force to be reckoned with.

"Our Sillumiran need more than just traps and walls, however. Despite what some of ignorant elsewhere might believe, our Warriors cannot survive on air alone. Food is, and will likely continue to be an important commodity. Preparing for future days when food may be even more difficult to keep will be a top priority, should I be elected. Discovering new ways of producing and storing food will be essential to be prepared for what may come: plague or famine or war.”

“For years now, the words of Kalenz Uradir have twisted our thoughts and views on purity. I plan to correct that by creating a standard official document to elaborate upon what is pure and impure, so that those coming to our cihi claiming to be pure when they are not will no longer be confused on how they are impure. Being pure and knowing how we judge someone’s purity is not something to hide. The maehr'sae hiylun'ehya to me means the betterment of our kin and cihi as a whole. There are many who have been deemed impure for one reason or another and it is time to really begin to help them come back to the true path of wisdom.”

She takes a pause as she looks around to the mali’aheral around her before she continues with her speech.

“When I was younger than and not as old as I am now, I did not know many of the ways of the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya though I was fortunate enough to have Earendur there to guide me and teach me what my long dead parents could not. I continue to see around me as I walk through the streets of our great cihi that there are many who do not have someone to teach them and they often go untaught until they are yelled at for not knowing. This is why, if elected I plan to construct a complete and fully functioning education center right above the brand new and expanded library so that learning and discovery can happen all in one place. The library will also be home to a special wing with will include the history of our people and a list of the all the mali’aheral that were murdered during the rebellion as a reminder of the time in which we have risen from. These are just a few of my new building plans for our cihi. I also plan on building several official laboratories that will be checked up on and kept functional for then they are needed. All labs will be open for public use along with person storage areas and times the labs can be booked for personal use.”

Mediliyur pauses again letting her words sink in before raising her hands to help show her next points.

“Over these long years we have relied greatly on our Sillumiran and our walls to protect our kin from the dangers of the outside world. Well for a long time our Sillumiran have been a force that has not been that grand. If elected I plan to change all that. I will construct several plans and systems in which the Sillumiran will be able to greatly decrease their response times to defend our cihi the event of an attack. I shall also be designing new and better traps to ensure the Sillumiran can protect more area with even less people. This will allow the Sillumiran to be around to defend and make manning the walls not so challenging. To show our thanks for all the hard work the Sillumiran has done protecting our kin from attacks. If elected I will help construct a new Barracks with a grand bell tower on top which can be used to signal the cihi is under attack.”

“It is now that we stand the chance to rebuild our cihi and our people grander and higher than they ever were before. With the plans that I have described to you along with many more I have a vision of a cihi where we uphold the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya above all other things. I have a dream of a cihi where all Mali’aheral know a basic set of knowledge that is and can be built upon. A cihi that rings out with the sounds of debates and the sips of tea in peace. These are the reasons why I, Mediliyur am running for Medi’ir. So that I may be able to be a part of this great new cihi we are forming today. I hope you, my lliran, deem me worthy to try and work for this great future.”

Mediliyur finishes as she bows to her fellow mali’aheral standing before her. She then turns and walks away.

Duvaindir Thill'onn, on one of his few strolls to escape the tomes he oft entrenched himself in, noticed the newly constructed Cihi. He approached and confirmed his purity with a shrill recital of the word thill, the ls rolling off of his tongue. Once inside, he found few familiar faces and more new acquaintances. The talk of the town seemed to be the election of both Sohaer and the twin Medi'irs. He drew a deep and intrepid breathe, his nerves calmed towards the idea awoken in him. He took to the podium, regardless of how many would pay him heed enough to listen and began in an articulate and well-endowed voice:

"You do not, I see, quite understand the Elven public. Its character is determined by the condition of its society, which contains imprisoned within it fresh forces seething and bursting to break out. Cursed they say we are, but only in seed and not in the wonders of the mind I read among your curious faces this day. Only in literature, in spite of past censorships of Man and Orc, there is much life and forward movement. This is why a writer's calling should enjoy such respect among us, that we encounter the myriad of circumstance and scenario and know best how to translate it into character and into our own persons. I am such a writer, a poet of some quatrains even in our ancient tongue.

A lover of culture, I want us to embrace the Elven language in all of its power. Its natural inclination to recitation is suitable for odes and lyrical performances be it in Leyulin or elsewhere! We have a stagnating literary tradition that must be revived, be it in the hard sciences or the philosophical or in the mere meditations of our intellects! Likewise, one shant take up the book without harvesting the reeds. Where the cihi needs work done, then I will myself take to aiding the other Mali'aheral in construction and upkeep!

I understand that you may lament my absence, but perhaps there is wisdom in my separation. Such a separation is always empowered by eventual union and this union is my being with you here. Whether it be for Sohaer or Medi'ir, such makes no matter. My experiences with the many and my love for the singular, the Mali'aheral, made me come here this day. My hand, letters seemingly flowing from them, has acquainted me with much experience in this world and experience that may serve us for better. Irregardless, my service is to thee of the Cihi and may you find wisdom in my literary calling and perhaps I may lead us collectively to farthest strides!"

A note is left at the front of the podium, written in calligraphic Elven:

"I, Duvaindir Thill'onn, am hereby vying for the position of Sohaer"

An Elderly Elf takes up his soapbox “I, Earendur Vym’vallei announce my candidacy for the postion of Sohaer.”

His then gives the following speech, which a written copy of the speech is posted in the Inn for all Mali’aheral to see and discuss.

“Fellow children of Larihei, We have finally regained our home and as such we are now called to elect ome Sohaer niut’eyha Med’ir. As such we have a duty to elect the candidate most worthy of each post. And my record has showed that I am an effective diplomat and truly Mali’thill.”

He then looks to the gathered Mali’aheral are giving him a questioning look.

“Many of you refer to me as ‘The Druid’ and in turn think me Mali’ata. However Elmardruian have gave me leave from the order if I should ran for office in Haelun’or if I should be elected to any office. They’re only condition is that I am not to wage war on the order without a genuine a to resolve the differences are made first, to which I responded that if a situation similar to that regarding Vallel happens again where the order refuses multiple time to give up a criminal then I will not stay my hand on the matter. It is on this agreement that which I am free to run for office without fear of unattunement. However, if you still truly think such petty thoughts as my impurity then report me to The Weeping Blades. If not, then proceed to refute my ideas instead of my person.”

After the exchange he takes deep breath and regains himself

“I am running Sohaer because I believe that we have the ability to do great things. All that is needed is to have leaders wise enough to achieve said goals and to space to do it in. I refuse to believe that we are simply bond to the curses. We should not be murders of those we deem distasteful; we should not covet our distant kin as if the are a treasure to hoard; we should not be so blinded by our pride that we can not see our cihi being ceased from us; most of all we should not be unproductive and let our bloodlines wither and die out. However, we should are scholars, artists of words, paint, and sound. We are masters of our gifts of magic, and we should be those who make advancements in science; we should fight the eternal impurity of necromancy and the taint of Elmarmalieir; and we should not cower as a fire rages outside our walls.”

Earendur then pauses for a moment before continuing.

“Many of you may wonder what record of diplomacy I have within Elcihi. I have two prime examples to show how I aided Mali’thill in time of need. Firstly was in the fringe during The Second Fringe War, the other being when Elmali’ame encouraged genocide against us.

During The Second Fringe War, I was a guide in The Druid Order when war was about to break out against our kin and The Order. The main reason I wished to avoid should a conflict was to avoid a war we could not win, as the druidic order was headquartered in the fortress of Kal’Arkon. I knew that if we attacked that if we attacked the high and thick walls of Kal’Arkon with the manpower we had at the time, our kin would be slaughtered at the gates. It took quite some time given The Naysayer’s hyperbolic nature. But we made peace before such a slaughter can happen. I did this by having The Order give up the criminals Ouity and Milo, and by having them forcibly myself as guide, which is a sacrifice I was and am willing to take to protect our kind.

The second example is when our kind was being slaughtered in the passing roads. My motivations were the same in this case, which is that our kin should not be wiped off the face of Athera for the tricks of The Betrayer. I thought that Phaedrus a sense of honor before this instance but I could not shake his bloodlust. So I can to turn to the most unlikely ally, Rusk’Dom, who was Phaedrus’ closest supporter on the genocide. I inform the then High Sharman that the druidic Order is not pleased to with the assault and murder of its Aheral druids and shown him to the druid who where victim to the attacks. Though Rusk like all urukan are unpleasant, but he had his honor. He agreed to stop the attacks on the passing road, but not in the Colony.

However with the Colony being in Oren, and not willing to go on a two pronged war against but the undead and Oren, the genocide in effect was stopped.”

Earendur would take another break before continuing.

“If you have question about my actions or my platform I encourage you to  Saneyr with me about them. Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya.”

Asul'athri does not intend to run for either Sohaer or Medi'ir - he was, in his eyes, the sole mali'aheral capable of properly leading Elsillumiran at this moment in time. However, he listens intentfully to each candidate, before nodding at Avern'dionne's words.

"Avern'dionne. One question. In your speech, you seem to have addressed our military, and it's lack of attention - Correct me if I misunderstood it, but this does mean that you will be placing the Blades in a somewhat higher light and place a greater priority on it?"

I do believe the blades need more recognition for their service and more attention in terms of recruitment and funding. The protection of all we have worked to gain is most definitely a priority, to preserve elmaehr’sae hiylun’ehya and the guidance the mali'aheral to a brighter future."

A rather small elf makes his way to the podium, his stride confident and his expression even more so. The trademark red jacket and matching burn marks below his eyes betray the small elf's identity; he is Ikur Seregon. As he reaches his destination, he turns to the audience and addresses them.

"I hereby announce my ambitions: should you allow it, I would like to be Sohaer of the Mali'aheral."

The Red Elf's voice carries out to those gathered. After a short pause, he begins the bulk of his speech.

"I was not born to purity, as many of you are aware. My journey along the road of maehr'sae hiylun'ehya was not one traveled because of chance of birth, but by conscious choice. Throughout what is now the entirety of my bulk life and a large portion of the later years of my adolescence I have attempted to do my part to serve the shining state of Haelun'or. At the zenith of my past service I was Okarir'tir during the Fringe Wars, and though the years afterwards were plagued by stagnancy and internal conflict with the Orrariran, it is by my sword and my command that the city was held against the Block menace."

Once more Ikur pauses and gazes about those gathered.

"I believe the time has come where I ought serve the public in official capacity once more. And as is my preference, I will keep this speech short and utilitarian, and so I relinquish the podium with only the request that you vote for one who has served the Mali'aheral since he has chosen Haelun'or."
