What is roleplaying?: When you play the role of a character that you create

 

What is metagaming?: Using information in character that you have learnt out of character. A friend tells me on Skype that their character died when I wasn't online and then I play my character with that information without finding out in role play.

 

What is powergaming?: Being someone who is all powerful and cannot be hurt. Blocking blades with my arms when wearing only linen, ripping someone's head off of their neck with a single flick and dodging every single attack.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): 

 

Carmina was born in a simple household with a small family that were loyal to Cerulin, because of this they were left relitively in peace unless there was war. Her father was an engineer and her mother was a weaver of clothes. Her mother wasn't exactly pleased when Carmina wished to learn more about engineering than weaving but her father was extremely happy to teach her. 

 

Years later she has grown in both body and mind, her knowledge of engineering was something she was the most prideful in and unfortuantely due to her gender, it was assumed she knew nothing but weaving or cooking. After her parents passed away from natural causes, Carmina decided it would be best to leave the home and explore other places other than Cerulin. On her short trip she explored the sands of Si'Vitar, the mountains of Kal'Agraad and the swamps of embermoore, though she was yet to find a place to settle.

 

During an evening within the red rose tavern, she overheard talk of a group that had three organisations within itself and it called itself, the crimson hearts. At first she only heard of magicians and knights which made her scowl whilst sipping at the milk given, though once she overheard the statement of a group of mechanists joining their ranks and from there, she began to write up a letter to send to the group and arrange a meeting with their leader to join as an engineer.

 

Personality Traits: Prideful in her engineering capabilities, naive and wanting friends.

 

Ambitions: To learn all she can of engineering and become famous for one of her inventions.

 

Strengths/Talents: Her mind is her greatest asset, everything that she thinks of to build she immediately goes to the work bench and begins sketching up plans. Due to years of engineering, she has developed some muscle in her arms that is more built than normal for women her age. 

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: She is very naive of the world and its customs, it isn't unusual for her to mistake something or misunderstand a common custom. Her pride in her work makes things unsettling if such work is discredited or talked down on. After long times of being alone whilst working, she has begun to grow a lose tongue which seems to cause troubles now and then.

 

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Standing at five foot five, blondey brown hair and aqua eyes. Always wearing her favourite pair of goggles and engineering outfit.

-You need to expand upon your meta-gaming and power-gaming definitions. Try to say what the 'act' of meta-gaming/power-gaming is. Maybe use an example?

 

-Engineering is something thats extremely difficult and scarcely known in the world of Lord of The Craft, and as an engineer I'd stress you make sure you know the lore and know very well the restrictions that're in place.

 

-You need to expand upon your character's biography, as it is a fair bit too short.

 

-You need to expand upon you character's strengths and weaknesses.
