Tethras 278 Share Posted November 4, 2013 Farren growls at Kardel, shaking his head furiously. "DO NAE DISTRACT ME NOW!" Hurrying over to his chest, he searches around franticly. Mumbling to himself. "Wait.... Tu direction....." Hastily pulling out a map of Thorins former empire, a compass heavily engraved with the figures of the Dwarven gods, a piece of chalk, a golem core and a large hammer. He places them all on the anvil, tears forming in his eyes as he glances between the anvil and the remains of his Golem Apex. "Now... W'ut are yer trying to tell meh, yer beautiful anvil? Kardel 1054 Share Posted November 4, 2013 Kardel attempts to determine in which direction the anvil is pointing, noting things such as direction, the depth and with of the crack, and any strange sounds the anvil makes if any. Cursing himself for not fixing him earlier, whilst the anvil wasn't being funny. "Apex...." Glancing around, he scowls at Kardel. Meanwhile, a few dark-green robed figures are seen riding away from the unfinished tower of Barad'gauld. At their head is a dwarf riding on a yak, his whole body covered in a green robe, his face hidden by a cowl. At his hand is a letter. "Roide swiftleh all o' yer. Lago 2572 Author Share Posted November 11, 2013 The dust seems to be arcaurum, albeit enchanted. It melts in the forge flames. Both anvils are pointing northwest, but the angles are slightly different. If placed onto a map, they could be used to triangulate a position. The Black Anvil is little more than a mishapen chunk of black metal and enough toxic arcaurum dust to kill a small farm. The ale seemed to accelerate its deteriation. The White Anvil is in a better way, but it is still severely damaged. In Haelunor, the Thahnic Anvil has split in two, exposing a glowing arcaurum column in the centre.
