Deep in the bowels of the great city of the dwarves, the Black Anvil of Azgoth lies dormant. Safely sealed away in the dwarven vaults sits the White Anvil of Karik. Somewhere in the Silver City of the High Elves is the Thanhic Anvil of Ardol. Each lies in a silent place, motionless, unmoving, unused.

The Black Anvil begins to rattle, the large bolts holding it in the ground shaking. Nearby dwarves turn to look at it as it shakes uncontrollably as if resonating. It shakes and rattles, louder and louder. Dwarves try to hold it down, to stop it, but whatever outside force drives it proves too powerful. The bolts snap, and the anvil begins to spin like a shaken compass. And then, at the point where it felt as if the cavern would cave in, the anvil stops, aligned with the earth and pointed to the midwest of Anthos. Then, with the sound like the breaking of a hundred chandeliers, the anvil's surface cracks like glass, hairline fractures covering its full length. Wisps of golden mist curl from the fractures, pooling like dry ice around its base.

And, in that one second, the White and Thahnic Anvils did exactly the same.

Something is wrong.

Something is very wrong.

((Any investigation carried out IC and posted in this thread will have results posted back))

Both the White and Black Anvils, if found, have rotated to slightly different angles.

Sitting alone in her cihi, Yulnii stops drawing as the sound of the anvil grabs her attention. Not knowing what is going on, she runs off to her family's home, notebook clutched to her chest.

Apex is still lying on the throne room floor in Kal'Azgoth, because Farren never bothered to fix him after the Golem Revolution.

The tears drop into the cracks. The golden mist makes Dreek feel dizzy.

Dreek faints and slams his head onto the anvil, giving him a good bruise

Farren roars with anger as he watches the scene unfold.

"Nae! It took me too bloomin long too bloomin lon gtu get t'at back from tu bloomin Gran'axes, t'ose 'eretical scum. Ah will nae lose meh anvil again!"

Growling he turns to his son, ordering him to gather the Legion and fellow kinsman.

"Do nae fail meh my son, fer tu anvil is our relic, our 'istoreh. We can nae afford tu lose it tu second time!"

Turning his attention to the anvil once more, he slowly approaches it. Muttering soothingly.

"Come on child... Calm down... We c-can.... We can work t'is out..."

Moments after the disturbance, the gates of the High Elves grind slowly upwards. A golden-skinned elf cloaked in white departs from the gates, accompanied by three very large figures. They depart over the cusp of a nearby hill, a purpose evident in their stride. But a single command is given;

"Search."

*The Grand King inspects the white anvil carefully, he places some objects near the anvil, but not touching it and observes its reactions. He doesn't expect much, but he trys anyway. The items are:

1 Axe

1 potato

1 diamond

1 helmet

1 large rock

1 compass ((Compasses are RP right?))

1 map

1 piece of coal

1 hammer*

((I saw this and thought it was worth a try :P))

A few items get coated in the golden dust accumulating around the anvil. Dizzy does notice the anvil has stopped at a very specific angle relative to where it was, however.
