Ruins Smolder

Ikur looks forward, smiling broadly. He has a messenger sack at his side, bundled with foods. He was on a trip just a month earlier. A fire roared in the distance. Ah, the hearth. He said cheerful, closing his eyes. Sweating a bit as he drew near. He coughed, smoke filled his lungs. He grunted, still not opening his eyes, he goes, opens the door, and widens his eyes to the destroyed relic of his life. The Golden Drake lay shattered by dark portents of idiocy. He shrieked like a toddler without a toy.

 

The fire was extinguished by the rain eventually, not without half of the inn being burnt to slanders. He began to grunt. He knew who did this..oh he did. Ikur was not quick to violence. He had been. He was a raging racist as well. He knew who did this, or he thought so. He got out his messenger back, turned, and began to walk toward Gronkkston. Upon arriving, and accusing an Orc Cub, he was summarily beat to a pulp by it, and thrown out of the city. Filthy Uruks.

 

He proceeded to go up the stairs of his ruined inn, looking at his ruined bed. He goes there, lying down in it. He deserved this. He coughed, smog still roaming the area. He falls asleep like a babe at the breast. This is what I get for abandoning my inn in Haelun'Or..He knew this. He dreamt of this. He dreaded this. He considered if it was time to go home, he knew it wasn't.

 

The morning brought up a new leaf. He got out a butter knife, carving a message into the burnt door frame.

 

"STOP ATTACKING ME I ONLY HAVE BREAD

WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH BREAD

IT'S VERY WHEAT.

GO AWAY.

IKUR."

Another carving is posted on the door, after ANOTHER Half of the inn burns due to a small fire caused by Ikur Himself
