*smiles as he comes back with his new calculation and sees the axe price hasn't raised*

Alrighty. Seeing from other auctions I will give ye 3 blocks of emerald (27 emeralds) that is worth 1,188 Mina ((44 Mina a piece)). I will also give 32 iron that is worth 320 Mina ((20 a piece)). Finally.... I will put 200 Mina on top of that....

Which in total is 1,708 Mina fer thy axe.

*a great sigh of relief falls over spike as he hangs the note*

The auctioneer proclaims;

"All bids updated! Please note for any further bids: emeralds are not an acceptable means of transaction, as they have little use. All current emerald bids will stand."

Thurak grumbles as he notices the outbidding, shaking his head in annoyance.
He slowly scribbles yet another reply, placing it right next to his
previous one

"I Bid change my bid to 2000 Minez Minas. Iv Should I beh outbidded, My bid will rise 200 hozhah more than the opposing bid. Zend Send me ah burd.

~Thurak"

Thurak's curses and snarls increase in volume and frequency as he continues to be outbid, his hand constantly tapping on his Minas pouch, now not seeming to be so bulging after all.

"2500 Miynahz fur da luzk!"

Thurak waves his hands in the air, seeming more than a little frustrated. He tears down the opposing bid (Phantasy's 2,600), and sits himself on top of the notice board, watching for anyone stupid enough to near and post a note.

The auctioneer scowls at the Orc in a particularly suspicions manner. He jots down the only apparent higher bid for the axe, the Orc's 2500.

*A small, cowled figure, perhaps a halfling, a dwarf or something altogether, waddles up the temple steps and towards the notice board on Temple Grounds. Bearing a number of thin sheets of parchment, the small figure casts a downward glance, spotting the torn parchment. The page is promptly replaced with a good number more. The figure shuffles along and heads towards its room at the nearby tavern, waving a hand at the nearby monks.*

Thurak's chest rumbles with annoyance as a storm of posters replace the torn down one. He hastily places up another of his own, written in massive, black inked handwriting

"3500 ZHINEEZ FUR  DA LUZK"
