A Scrawled Note On A Seemingly Random Mountainside

As you trek across the land, you stumble across a scrawled note in sight of the Delver base, pinned to a steep mountainside. The location and contents of the message would seem to the casual observer utterly random, though a select few might be able to glean the context.

 

 

 

"To the Shadowman currently in possession of my staff,

 

My name is Wolf Druid Ouity, and we've had... scattered dealings over the past few years.

I want my staff back, recognizable as the heavy jungle wood stave measuring roughly six feet high. I've had it for nigh three hundred years, and am quite keen to see it returned. If you do not comply, next time I enter your '"secret" base, the location of which I have not revealed as of yet, it will not be alone, with lockpicks, but with an army and battering ram.

 

Leave it at the entrance to the new Druidic Grove, if you will.
