Other than that, I like this well enough. On the topic of word count I can surely follow. But not regarding preparation. It is probably one of the most important steps as it will be what defines the fight. If you don't make sure you explain what you're aiming to do, whether obvious or not, it will be hard for the enemy to think: "Oh.. That was why he did it. Of course he would be able to hit me now when in my preparation I said that I looked towards the ground." In preparation you normally define your stance, etc. etc. And if one wants a fair fight it is usually that step that makes your "opponent" think that your thoughts behind the attack actually had matter to it.
