Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: I've role-played on all sorts of platforms. Crusader Kings II, The Guild II, World of Warcraft, Europa Universalis III, Warcraft III and Lord of the Rings Online. It ranges from a sort of summary, like in Crusader Kings II you're limited to the view of a map, essentially, and so you're basically only typing out historical events as you go through them, and it depends on how creative you are and how collaborative your partner is, to inter-character interaction like World of Warcraft or Lord of the Rings where you're controlling a single character in a vast, open world, sort of like Lord of the Craft.
Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: I have been in the past, but I haven't been satisfied, really. I seem to recall role-playing on my own server with no mods, with a simple group of people, though.
Have you applied to this server before?(Please link past applications): Nope! I've just been lurking.


How did you hear about us?: From a member of your community who goes by the alias, 'Bagley'.
What do you think the server will be like? Hopefully another domain to give me my role-play fix; I have many! I don't have any expectations that will make me have disdain for the place. I'm just here to have fun.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes.
What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: The part where cybering/bullying is essentially prohibited, naturally. I come from a server where it's no different than a group of hateful trolls.


Definitions

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!

What is roleplaying?: Role-playing is the act of seizing a role and utilizing it in an authentic, realistic fashion to the best of your ability, and most of all, having fun doing it; it's the art of escapism that really draws to most people, I would think, compared to the real world.

What’s metagaming?: Metagaming is obtaining information out of character and utilizing it in-character. For example, say I was talking to someone who frequents this server often, and he told me of a private event between him and another character in-game. Suddenly, I forward that information to my character and for some reason now, my character now has the knowledge of something not even a spy would know in-character.

What’s powergaming?: Powergaming is the act of forcing yourself upon others, seemingly with invincible manner; not giving others a chance, performing immediate emotes instead of per-chance emotes; contradicting the fact that all physical actions are attempts unless it's clear you would be the victor.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What race are they (and sub-race)?: He is a Human Northerner.

What sex are they?: Male

How old are they?: 48

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): Robert was raised in the northern reaches of Anthos to a family of declining nobility whose ambition had gotten the better of them, and in the end, they had been forgotten. Having fallen to mere bandits, Robert became an orphan at the age of eight, and was taken in by his uncle, who raised him for the majority of his life until he was of adulthood; he became a freelancer and having been taught how to fight by his uncle, had partaken in all sorts of adventures and flamboyant endeavours in the land of Anthos. Reaching the age of thirty-eight, Robert decided to settle down in the northernmost edge of Anthos, where he built his own home, living in ultimate seclusion from the rest of the world with no family to care for. I sincerely uphold a principle of improvising my story. I'd much rather get in-game and start my story than write a wall of text about something I'll probably forget at one point, regarding things I have never actually done in-game. I prefer to write my story as I go on, not have it thrown at me on demand on an application, and this is in no way intended to be passive aggressive. I just want to state why my 'brief description' has such an abrupt beginning and ending - I hope that's okay! I don't know how I can prove that I'm an able role-player just hoping to hop in-game and... role-play!

What are they like (personality)?: Humble, honorable, a man of strict principle; cultivated (not some narcissist barbarian), anti-social and diligent, at last. He works rather hard to keep his home up to keep.

What are their ambitions?: While humans are known for their ambition, Robert has little but content in his heart, feeling rather satisfied with his life currently. However, he yearns for adventure once again. 

Do they have any special skills?: He excels fighting with axes. 

What are their weaknesses?: Social greetings,  suffers from a sickly disposition in his current state, all alone with no one to speak to; it's more of a mental state than a physical state. He does not bode well with nobility as well, and finds them simply as ravenous dogs barking for ambition. Explaining his current seclusion. 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: Bearded, sturdy, pale. He has a sickly disposition to him, but not one of physical deception. He has sharp, blue eyes under a mat of fair, auburn colored hair, with strong, stern muscles indicating his diligence.
