Adelmar steps up in cloud temple as soldiers are continuously, day and night, healed by monks. Taking a deep breath, he speaks out to the crowd.

 

"Soldiers, men, and dwarves. Be it just me who say the war should end? Who cares for the want of land that be not yours; who cares for the honor of naught in war? We have fought endlessly, spilling blood for many years but with no gain to either side. Thousands have died, thousands more yet to die, and even then it will not end.

 

We have all forgotten the norm. Trading, blacksmithing, runesmithing, mining, farming, and tending to our children. The normal way of life lost to continuous fighting that never ends. I say who cares for the win or the loss now? The men and women in Oren have families to tend for while the dwarves have smithies nay touched in years! Tis time for peace or the young will suffer on both sides of the war! Tha' assault on dwarven lands should seize, 'nd tha' provoking of humans must end. For our families, nay for justice, glory, or honor now. Our families."
