The ground shook below the creature as it stepped around the Conclave, the makeshift flood platforms creaking in pain as they barely held up due to the stress of the being's weight. The creature was known as a Treant, ancient trees that had seemed to come alive and walked around. Many races of Anthos had not seen such a thing before but were fascinated at its dull mind and friendliness. This particular Treant was young, no where near its full grown size but still considered large to others. Weighing more than a golem and standing taller than a Orc, the young Treant was still considered a large creature and had trouble lumbering around the small areas provided in the Conclave.

Lurching around the Conclave the Treant came to a steady halt when it came upon two mysterious dark figures. It eyed the two curiously and the Harbinger's eyed it back within their depth less helmets, unsure of what it was. The first Harbinger, Xort, spoke first to the creature about its origin and its goals, although could not strike a meaningful conversation as the Treant only shook its head yes or no. Daink edged closer towards the creature trying to relate to it as it was not a mortal race of Anthos, the Treant sat and listened as Daink explained the vermin of Anthos were not there to benefit the Treant rather than to mock and hurt him. The Treant listened attentively as Daink offered the Treant to come to the North and serve Setherien, a powerful non-mortal that could help him grow and find more of his kind. The Treant only nodded his head yes and shrugged as he was not sure of his decision. The two Harbingers left the Treant with directions to the North should he make a decision and they wandered off, leaving behind a cold aura in the Conclave of Malin.

The Harbingers sat inside their corrupted fort, fiddling with various bloodshard contraptions as they heard the silence of the North break. Loud stomping was heard from the front wall of the North, shaking the walls around them. They both scurried out of their fort, floating towards the sounds unsure of what it was. Upon reaching the hill, they looked down at the worn walls from the war recently to see the Treant lumbering across the lava bridge. As it struggled to get across the Harbingers came closer towards the creature, preparing to greet it as it had made its decision. The Treant's mouth quivered as it reached them and its bark broke open revealing a small mouth as a deep voice boomed within "My kind... where?" The Treant had came to find other of his kind, lonely it was and it turned to Scourge for help.

Xort & Daink led the Treant towards their corrupted fort, preparing to turn the beast into a machine of war. Unbridled power and raw strength was all they saw in the beast, caring little for its quest for its kind. Stopping at the gate of the fort, the Treant had trouble moving across the slippery corruption on the ground. Lumbering slowly towards the open gate it finally made it inside and was led into a large open corridor where Xort spoke to the being. "Under Setherien tree beast we will find your other kind and help you re-unite, but you must help us crush these weak mortals." The Treant nodded, its bark head creaked as the leaves on its beard and head shook.

Daink began to question the Treant more, learning a bit about its life on Anthos and how it became. In its past the Treant had served under the Druid's, helping them to understand its race better and to connect it with nature. The two Harbingers did not take this information lightly and figured it would be a problem. Xort distracted the Treant, getting it to turn around and speak to him as Daink fled to another room. Upon entering the room, Daink edged closer towards a glowing chest reaching inside and pulling out a small corrupted bloodshard. He closed the chest and moved towards the back of the unsuspecting Treant. Quickly Daink lined the bloodshard along the side of the distracted Treant and jammed a short blade into the back of the shard, shoving it deep inside the Treant. The room roared as the being flew its arms around wildly crushing walls as stone fell from the ceiling above them. The creature's immense pain came to a stop when Daink numbed the creature's body with icy smoke, it lumbered towards a corrupted soil patch and lurched over, its roots sinking deep into the soil. The beast began to lay dormant healing, waiting for its master's to call it to battle.

"I'm impressive, brother."

"No..." Shae'tan hummed, "It is the master who is impressive... praise the winged one." it stated with a solid nod
