The hall is small, but well built and fairly sturdy. The thick stone and wood walls are carefully decorated with old stories from the Adunian history. Outside is as sign directing those who wish to enter that no weapons or armor may enter the hall - it is dedicated to preserving peace, and so any who enter must display their wish for peace, no matter their rank or status in, or out of Anadune.

Inside is a beautifully decorated white throne, with a beautiful blue stone in the center. Before it is a table with various plans carefully stacked in place. Upon the throne is the Lord of Anadune, Kayrin Earendil, leaning on his hands. Armed guards stand near the door, but here you may speak with the Lord if you so choose.

((Granted, I hate these threads, but due to my mostly inability to be online for a little while, I'm gonna have to ask that this be put into some use. Also: Aep, you'd better make much love of those tags. ;) ))

Kayrin, if he could have seen James Amador, would tell him that it's quite simple, as he's moved too far to the south. Go a bit more north, down some stairs, and you'll be there.

In the meantime however, Kayrin turns to look at Quinlan and smiles a bit sadly, "The people of Anadune, the ones who worked and toiled over the land, have asked me to stay and disregard the petition. So here I am, and here I will remain until those who I have ruled say otherwise. My cousin has done little for these people, and if he wants to win their hearts, he needs to prove himself as a good leader first and foremost."

Elandric would have overheard their somewhat of a conversation as he walked into the throne room, head high. The young, brave lad spat on the ground and snarled at the Lord of Anadune, Kayrin. "Ye' say ye' be tha' lord o' yer folk, an' protector as well, eh?" Elandric pauses to adjust his belt. He was wearing a hauberk, covered by some fancy leather made jerking and a cloak of wolf fur dragged behind him. He'd as well be having his Armas warpaint spread proudly across the left side of his face. "Bu' w'en tha' lot o' em disagrees wiff ye.. ye still claim yerself lord sae high? Ye're bloodeh patethic, 'Earendil'.." The warm fires inside the throne room made him cringe. They were not the fires of old, but new and untamed ones. "Ye' built up this.. 'Aduninidanidane' jus' tae see all yer followers scatter.. Ye' didn' dae sae much as ye' claim ye' have." Elandric coughed loudly "Go along, rule yer town sae dead.. G'luck wiff yer three-man army.."

Kayrin shrugs and waves him off, "I never demand people stay, it is their choice. If all you're going to do is stand here and explain why you dislike me, join the many others who chose to leave for Oren. I'm not keeping anyone here. If they stay, it is their choice. The fact of the matter is, I have been told that I should stay. Until that changes from the people who helped me to build this society, I don't intend to leave. You've said your piece. Unless you intend to have a good calm and understanding discussion, I see no reason for you to stay."

"Me reason been, is tae tell tha' ye're puttin' faslery behind yer words; Lots whom 'ave helped ye buildin' this Adune o' yers have left, or turned against ye'.. Honestly no', think.. Most o' yer precious followers stand against ye', wantin' ye tae lower yer arms n' come out o' this aloive, else ye'll jus' end loike any other lord tha' has fallen due tae their folk leavin', n' if this will be kept up, ye're jus' one of the lot." Elandric sighed, rolling his shoulders "Foight 'ow long ye will, t'is jus' a matter o' toime. All plants wither, an' they regrow, but t'ey be never tha' same. A new lord is soon tae come, n' ye kno' it, Earendil."  He turned to leave with a grunt "Either ye' participate in tha' trial, n' 'ave a chance tae leave wiff yer loife - an' be respected, at leas' a little.. Or rot in here, havin' yer blade be yer only lad."

Kayrin shrugs, leaning back in his seat, his expression gentle. "I have done nothing except that my people request it of me. They asked me to demolish and rebuild the city and I did so. They asked me to accept Lachlan as my partner and I did so until he left again. They wanted independence for Adunians, I tried to find somewhere for us to travel to, then when the misunderstanding of BromKrah occurred, we managed to earn it from the dwarves. I have built the town for them with my own strength and diligence. They wished to have clarification between the Highlanders and Northernors, and clarification between the Orenian Elendils and the Elendils of Anadune. I let the orenians keep the names I knew they would begrudge me for taking. I have done everything my people have asked of me to the best of my ability. If the majority of those who have stood by me through these hardships come forward and ask me to step down, I will oblige them. However I will not stand on trial for doing what my people asked of me. If Dranan were in my position he would say the same."

Kayrin stands, looking at the man before him, "While I understand the complaints that those outside Anadune may have, you have not earned my loyalty, and you have not even seen fit to allow me a chance. Until that changes, I do not see why I should do as you ask me. Dranan comes forward and claims that he has a right to rule Anadune, but I have asked the same of him. What has he done to earn his place here? The People of Anadune have earned this land, he was not here to work for it. I have asked him to earn his place and he refuses as it is his birthright, for no other reason. I only ask that he prove himself.

"Dranan has required surrender, he will not negotiate with me much as Oren refused to negotiate with the dwarves. He will not accept my offer to name him my heir, nor even the offer to rule at my side. Arnorian has done much good in his years serving beneath me, and I see no reason he should not be forgiven for past mistakes, yet Dranan calls for his blood as well. That is all Dranan has shown he wants: bloodshed and war.

"Anadune since it's creation has only ever wanted peace, yet the Adunians outside of it continue to force battle on us on claims that we stole what was theirs. What we have we were given. The other outside Adunians left for their precious Oren. Those who remain have earned this land for their own, and until they come to me, I will not stand down."

Kayrin sighs and returns to sitting on the throne, sighing, "I apologize that you disagree, but this is how I have felt since Deanan came before me. That we disagree is unfortunate, but that is how life has been since it began. I will give nothing to Dranan unless those under me request it of me. For none other will I do it."

Daeglan, assuming that the throne room is now empty, slinks inside. Upon learning that this is a throne room for Anadunalunapune, he begins snorting and generating saliva, storing plenty of mucus and spit as he possibly can. After awhile of gathering the fluids in his mouth, Daeglan launches it at the Lord's throne, then shouting, "Ye fauckin' ken th't t'is be a K'ngdom o' /Adunia/ subfor'm. . . Roight?"

((Void :P))

Kayrin would never see the spittle, as it is not actually there by some strange reversing magic.

Aep files into the court when nobody is around and takes in a deep breath, placing his hands firmly on his hips. He steps up to the throne and a sly smile creeps onto his countenance. From his back pocket he unfolds a sturdy but crumpled paper crown embroidered with some shiny stones and a few minas that hang loosely by a sappy resin. Aep places the crown on his head and sits on the throne, WHERE HE RIGHTFULLY BELONGS. "Aep2gr9. Aep5kingeh, now n furevur."
